Chapter 4

Ella came out of her thoughts. the rain has stopped and it was 5 'o clock. With these thoughts and past memories she could pass her whole day. But things needed to be done. She would have to face him. How much she wished she could erase many years from her life . But that was impossible.

she stood up and fasten herself into the kitchen. She made dinner and laid the table .At 6 'o clock she heard the door being unlocked . At this moment everything stopped. The clock tickled slowly and loudly. No other sound. Just the sound of car door opening and closing.

Adrian  had come . she went to the door to greet him. He hugged her and walked inside the room to change . No words. No expressions. He would freshen up first.

AFTER some time he came back , Ella has made his favourite  dish. He held his spoon but put it down again .His focus was in the kitchen . He saw that the knife and plates were not in their right places. Also the towel was not properly hanged. 

Adrian held her hand and took her inside the kitchen and yelled,"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT I DON'T LIKE THINGS TO BE SCATTERED AND AT NOT THEIR RIGHT PLACES. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU TO UNDERSTAND?"

Ella shook in fear . He was holding her hand , very tightly but she tried to be normal and with a smile said," I am all alone here . The work is too much for me . I am not habitual of running a proper household . The cleaning and dusting takes my time. "

Adrian in great anger shouted at her and said," OH! Now I understood . You are starting to get bored here . You want someone . Maybe a boyfriend?"

Ella cried ," No ! I never meant it . Why don't you understand me ? "

Adrian shook his head furiously ," YA ! I don't understand you . I can say the same . Why don't you try to understand me? I gave you everything . Everything you could never have . But you are being so ungrateful ." He clenched his jaw .

And slapped her . She started crying. Her cheek burnt . The vision blurred due to tears . The thing she feared the most happened in a blink.

Adrian then searched for something and got a scissor . Ella tried to get away but Adrian brought the scissor close to her fingers and said ,"YOU NEED PUNISHMENT FOR THIS. YOU HURT ME."

Ella ," NO . I LOVE YOU .I AM SORRY PLEASE ." He was going to chop off hee fingers

Adrian stared at her face and her teary eyes . He dropped the scissor and hugged her tightly .

,"PROMISE ME."He whispered."You will never leave me .Never " She nodded .

Ella was still crying . The dinner was cold and both of them finally calmed down . Another ruined moment. Another bad memory. A new nightmare.

"Lets go. I am so tired .And the night is already ruined ." Adrian dragged the chair back and moved with heavy footsteps.

They went inside the bedroom and Adrian just behaved normally. He said Good Night and slept with his arms around her.

But Ella was unable to sleep . He slept peacefully oblivious to her tears and loud heartbeat. She knew it was just the beginning of hell.

AS IT WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME WHEN SHE SAW ADRIAN'S OTHER SIDE ..
