Chapter 8

Adrian grabbed Ella by hair and dragged her to the living room.

"YOU CHEATED ON ME . WHY THE HELL  YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND I CAN'T SEE YOU WITH SOMEONE ELSE.  YOU WILL BE GIVEN A PUNISHMENT FOR THIS. " He wiped the sweat off his face ."WAIT " He replied his eyes shining with excitement.

Adrian took off his belt and hit her with it. Ella was screaming but he didn't stop here. He then tied her hands and feet and said,"YOU WILL SLEEP LIKE THIS TONIGHT. YOU WANT TO LIVE AWAY FROM ME ,SO THEN LIVE."

He walked away and closed the bedroom door leaving her alone to cry .

In the morning, he came downstairs and untied her. He even brought a painkiller with him and applied it on her wounds . She was crying. Adrian hugged her ,"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DO THAT? I LOVE YOU AND DON'T WANT TO HURT YOU. BUT THAT WAS YOUR MISTAKE."

Ella cried more ," PLEASE LET ME GO . I PROMISE YOU I WILL NOT TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS . PLEASE"

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING ? YOU WANNA LEAVE ME. NO , I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU. DON'T SAY THIS "

"I CAN'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE . YOU ARE NOT NORMAL ."

"LIKE EVERYONE ,YOU TOO WANT TO LEAVE ME. HAVE YOU EVER ASKED ME WHY I AM LIKE THIS."

Ella looked at Adrian and got shocked because Adrian was crying. The cold -hearted man .

"I WILL TELL YOU ABOUT EVERYTHING , IF YOU WANT TO LISTEN AND LOVE ME."

Ella remained silent. He started:

"WHEN I WAS 17 YEARS OLD , MY PARENTS DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND MY ONLY SISTER LOST HER MENTAL STABILITY. THERE WAS NO ONE WITH ME AT THAT TIME . EVERYONE INCLUDING THE COMPANY'S MANAGER TO MY RELATIVES ALL TRIED TO BREAK ME AND TOOK THE PROPERTY. THE EMPIRE THAT YOU NOW SEE IS MY HARDWORK  NOT ANYONE'S SUPPORT AND LOVE WAS WITH ME. EVERYONE CHEATED ON ME. MY LOVED ONES LEFT ME ALONE. SO WHEN I SAW YOU I GOT ATTRACTED TOWARDS YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR INNOCENCE. I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU ,SO WHEN I DIDN'T FIND YOU AT THE SHOP AND NOT ALSO AT HOME ,I GOT AFRAID. AND LOSE MY CONTROL ON MY BRAIN."

Ella didn't know what to say ,then Adrian continued ," I HAVE YOUR PHOTOS. SEE THIS ONE IS WHEN YOU WERE WITH YOUR MOM; THIS ONE WHEN YOU WENT TO CHURCH AND MANYMORE . I love YOU and you ARE MY FIRST AND LAST LOVE . PLEASE FORGIVE ME. OTHERWISE I WILL DIE."

she stopped him from saying those words and said,"i forgive you . please don't say those words . you are also my first and last love."

Adrian kissed her and asked her to get ready as they were going on a lunch. Ella wore a red saree and also the jewellery set that Adrian gifted her.

They went for lunch .

There was no one in the restaurant .It was beautifully decorated. After lunch, Adrian took her for a dance.

On the way to home, Adrian changed the route and took her to her parent's home . She was surprised . All the family members greeted them happily. 

Rose and Ella went inside thier room.

Rose teased her sister "YOU HAVE BECOME ARROGANT NOW. NO PHONE CALLS , NO CHATS '

"NO IT IS NOT LIKE THAT . "

'I THINK HE LOVES YOU MORE THAN US ,THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN US.

"COME ON, ROSE"

"ROSE ! ELLA! COME HERE "

"MOM IS CALLING US . LET'S GO."

Adrian gave sign to Ella that they now have to go . So Ella hugged her family members and prepared to leave. But then Rose interrupted ," COME ON , Ad CAN'T YOU LEAVE HER FOR A DAY HERE. WE WANT TO TALK WITH HER. IT IS ONLY 20 MINUTES AND YOU ARE LEAVING . THIS IS NOT FAIR."

"ACTUALLY, ROSE I DON'T HAVE TIME. OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE SPEND SOME MORE TIME WITH YOU .I M SORRY .WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW." Adrian made an instant excuse .

"OK , THEN LEAVE Ella HERE . IT'S FRIDAY .SO YOU COME ON SUNDAY AND TAKE HER WITH YOU ,WHEN YOU ARE FREE."

Adrian looked at Ella and said ,"ok but..."

" no but! please . " Myke said.

"ok then , but take care of her."

Adrian went out . Everyone said Bye to him . He came back to meet Ella and silently whispered ,"you will call me in each 2 hours . ok and bye. "

He left her with her family alone for the first time .

Ella talked to her parents freely without fear of anyone. 

"Honey , ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR MARRIAGE LIFE? YOU DON'T CALL AND THAT DAY ALSO  LEFT TO YOUR HOME IN FEAR" Her father asked.

But as she was going to answer her mother interrupted,"SOMETIMES YOU BEHAVE LIKE CHILDREN . OBVIOUSLY  SHE IS HAPPY .GOD HAS GIVEN HER EVERYTHING."

Later in the evening :

Ella helped her mother in the kitchen and prepared dinner.

At dinner, everyone talked about the past happy moments . She forgot her pain and laughed with them freely. Her mom told her that Adrian has helped Myke in getting admission in the college and also helped her father in settling a property related dispute.

On hearing this , Ella made her mind that she would not tell anyone about this.

After dinner Ella remembered that she had to call Adrian and it was already 3 hours . She searched for the phone but found out that Rose was busy in talking with her friend. Her father had slept so she couldn't ask for the phone from him.

At last , she got the phone. It was already 12:30 . But still she called him.  Fearing for the worse .

ARJUN'S POV:

It has been 4 hours now and no call. what does she think of herself ?

why does she always neglect me ?

Wait , What if she has told her parents about me and they have told her not to call me or never come to me. No she can't do this .

Or she has forgotten me . She is so selfish . why does she love them more than me? 

BUT THEN HE GOT A CALL

ELLA : HELLO! ADRIAN ! , I AM SORRY I COULDN'T CALL YOU .ACTUALLY....

ADRIAN "OH, Hi !! Do I know You ? I think you dialled wrong number . "

ELLA : WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? ROSE WAS TALKING WITH HER FRIEND . I AM SORRY

ADRIAN : LAME EXCUSES.

ELLA : NO I AM NOT LYING , PLEASE.

ADRIAN : OK ,BUT LISTEN I CAN'T LIVE AWAY FROM YOU . I AM MISSING YOU ALREADY . I'LL BE THERE AT 11:00 AM. BE READY.IS THAT CLEAR?

ELLA: OK . AS YOU WISH.

ADRIAN :ARE U ALONE?

ELLA : NO, ROSE IS SLEEPING ON THE BED . I AM AT WINDOW . SHOULD I GO AT THE TERRACE?

ADRIAN: NO , NO DON'T GO AT THE TERRACE IN MIDNIGHT. 

ELLA : DID YOU REACH SAFE THERE?

ADRIAN : YES . YOU GO TO SLEEP AND WILL WAKE UP AT THE REGULAR TIME OK.

ELLA : OK , BYE . GOOD NIGHT.

ADRIAN : GOOD NIGHT, PRINCESS.

Ella went to sleep exhausted . 

At 5:oo AM , the phone rang . She picked up it on the second ring .

ADRIAN : GOOD MORNING, DOLL.

ELLA: GOOD MORNING.

ADRIAN: WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TODAY?

ELLA: AS YOU WISH.

ADRIAN: I THINK I AM ASKING YOU. TELL ME FAST.

ELLA: BLUE .

ADRIAN : THAT'S NICE. YOU WEAR YELLOW TODAY . OK .BYE

ELLA: BYE.

Aradhika got ready and prepared break fast for all . Her mom was shocked on seeing her working in the kitchen in early morning that also completely ready.

" why have you waken up so early, honey?"

"i wanted to prepare breakfast for you all so.."

"but i will do all this , you take rest."

"no ,it's ok mama."

they all had their breakfast . But then again her phone rang for the third time . She went in the room and answered the call.

It was just usual . He told her he would be there on time .

Adrian at 11 o'clock  reached there . Rose  was not happy but he made so many excuses and they all had to give up. 

Ella said goodbye to all of them and with so many pains and secrets went with 

her obsessive husband, who was not gonna leave her alone for a second.
