Chapter 9: Intruders

"Ahhhhh!!" I screamed for the eleventh time as I fall hard to the bottom of the well. Since the beginning of our training all I felt is pain and tiredness, I feel like he made it hard for me on purpose talk about being a sadistic jerk! I groaned in pain as I felt something broke in the inside which I assume to be my rib bone, having enough of this nonsense I stayed lying down the wet floor staring up the dark blue sky. I didn't even notice how time went passed quickly I think it's been 8 hours that I got stuck in this so called training of his and ever since then he never even check on me whether I have broken bones or even dead! That good for nothing! I'll get him for this I'll make sure he'll never do this to me again and by that I mean killing him! Right sounds like a good plan but first I need to get out of here. Still feeling tired I decided to rest a little to have a rational mind and figure out how to get out of this hell hole when I suddenly sense something. I tried looking for a familiar figure up in the well I'm in but there wasn't any at all, must have been my imagination.

An hour passed I think I can manage and stand up from the ground looking around for possible ways to get out when I felt it again I think someone's watching me but when I checked there was none, focusing on what is much more important right now I looked at the rocky walls that I tried climbing. Then I noticed a rock that was almost off the wall must have been due to my countless climbing I doned, with an idea in mind I try pulling out the rocks that can be removed from the wall and started putting it down layer by layer appearing like a small stair case. I tried my best doing it carefully to avoid any complicated measures such as the stair case that I worked so hard to make might fall from carelessness.

After hours of filling up the rocks I finally made it outside, I gazed up the light yellowish sky and breathe some fresh air. It was already morning when I get out finally I'm out! And now time for some revenge I thought coldly making my way back slowly to the cabin as I was still not fully recovered from the fall.

Without any second I barge in the cabin and through the kitchen where I sensed him but I was immediately stopped by the feast in front of me. It has almost all kinds of meat in the table, chicken, pork, beef, and many more delicious foods making my stomach growled automatically.

"Eat." Even without his permission I would already devour this all until I feel that my tummy is satisfied with everything. Ignoring him I continued eating fastly forgetting my sweet revenge. I'll just get him next time, yeah that's it, he can wait I'll still kill him anyway I think trying to convince myself. Taking a glass of water I drink it in one gulped and look at him seriously.

"Why-" Before I could finish he immediately cutted me off answering my question.

"It's a reward for doing great in your training." I looked at him in shocked and a little admiration for this and was about to thank him when he once again cut me off.

"Shut up and eat before I change my mind." He said coldly eating his own plate of food ignoring me. I glared at him so hard that if it were lasers he would have been melted jerk I thought hence I continue eating again ignoring him also when I felt it again. And this time I know it wasn't just my imagination when Aragorn suddenly stand and looked alert at the surroundings.

I look to him asking through my eyes on what I should do he gestured me to come closer placing me behind his back which makes me annoyed since I know I can take care of myself but knowing our situation now's not the time for petty arguments.

I tried looking for any sign of living being when Aragorn suddenly pulled me sideways avoiding the dagger that almost got me making me widened my eyes in surprise and alert getting in my defense mode. The moment the dagger went through many 5 black shadows emerge inside the kitchen holding different weapons aiming at us. I glared at the shadows and ready to attack when Aragorn mind linked me to take the 2 shadows in the right in split seconds we immediately went right up our opponents and take them on.

I kicked the first shadow aiming in his weak point when he suddenly blocked my attack and backed away then I felt a hard punch in my back making me push over the table. Facing my second opponent I kicked him in his stomach immediately standing up to avoid the attack of the other and counter punch him in the face too hard that I felt his bone cracked from the collision making him groggily for a minute. I face right back the other and blocked his attack before he could launch another punch and kicked him but he still manage to land another punch in my stomach making me spit some blood and fall on the floor, predicting his next move I evaded it then kicked him again and again until he finally couldn't move anymore.

As I was about to get back on the other shadow I saw it was already laying on the floor out cold with Aragorn on top pushing his foot in to its chest.
