Chapter 6: What's My Name?

Kali Ambrosia

"Are we there yet?"

"For the last time no!" He yelled getting mad at my repetition. After I'm all healed up, we walk for hours until reaching a carriage to go whatever place it is. We have been travelling like almost 8 hours now and it's almost night time. I huffed at him and crossed my arms impatiently.

"Where are we even going? When do you plan to train me? or do you intend to anyway?" I asked again getting sour at my body due to sitting for hours.

"You never shut up do you?" Irritated he face palm and take a deep breath before answering.

"I never back down from my words so shut the hell up." He stated angrily while glaring at me coldly making gulp involuntarily and look away. Geez, talk about bad temper I thought. I looked outside and saw many trees and grass looks like we're in a forest. Then something came up my mind immediately glancing at him curiosly. He must have notice me and turned to me questionly.

"Why aren't you asking my name?" I asked curiously then thinking what if he already knew my name? I gasp shock at my thoughts then continued to stare at him and as if reading my mind he immediately declined.

"I'm not a like what you think. Why do I have to ask for your name anyway." He said incredulously shooking his head looking outside.

"So you can call me duh. Besides you're going train me right? Wouldn't you even want to know your pupil's name?" I said in a duh tone. Still not looking he replied.

"Fair enough." He said nodding and looked outside again. I smiled at his answer and feel pride that I'm right but frowns later when he still doesn't ask me my name. Seemingly sensing my change of mood he turned to me and ask.

"What?" He asked looking at me bored.

"Ask me my name." I said seriously. Then he give me the are-you-kidding-me look but I remained my guard waiting for him to do it. Seeing that I'm not gonna back down he sighed then ask me the question I wanted.

"What's your name? there happy now?" He said bored looking straight in my eyes. I smiled at him trying to piss him off and replied.

"Very much! That wasn't so hard right?" He just ignore me and started sharpening his knife.

"Kali. Kali Ambrosia is my name." I said while he just nod his head as a sign that he heard it.

"What should I call you? Beorhtwulf? Aragorn? Mr. Beorhtwulf? Mr. Aragorn? Ma-"

"Anything you want." He said calmly and stopped the carriage. "We're here now move." He said coldly making his way through the dark forest. Not wanting to be left behind especially when I don't know this place, I immediately followed him.

Aragorn picked up a wood and cover the upper part with his ripped clothe and set it on fire serving as our light.

"Where are we- Wow!" Before I could finish I got surprised by how beautiful the place we just ventured. It has a small lake and an old cabin surrounded by trees and grass. As I was going to ask more questions he immediately shushed me and said.

"First training, don't ask questions." I furrowed my brows at him and accidentally told inside thought out loud.

"You just want to shut me up." He smirked at me with amusement in his eyes. I knew it.

"Good, your learning." He retort trying to pissed me off more. I just rolled my eyes and take in the beauty in front of me.

"This is where we'll be training in 1 month. Take the room in the left and get some sleep. We'll start tomorrow." He stated going inside the cabin and to his room I assumed. Still in awe, I walked inside and went to my room. It looked abandoned with all the dust and spider webs around here examining the room it will take me hours of cleaning but being the lazy girl I am I decided to just sleep it off with a lot of thoughts in my mind.

-------------------------

Waking up I felt the ray of light shining down my eyes making me cover my eyes. I sit up looking around my surroundings, in the small table there's a medicine like the one he gave me before. "To prevent me from sucking blood huh." Shaking my head and swallowed the medicines, so far this medicine is pretty much effective. It's the real deal I guess, I stand up and stretched to be physically fit especially remembering that we would train today and walked out of the room.

I smelled something delicious following the scent I ended up in a kitchen where food is prepared. Not wasting anymore time I quickly take a sit and gobbled up the delicious meal. Ever since the medicine, I've been eating like a normal girl again. My happy hour was suddenly disturbed by a cold familiar voice.

"Time to train."
