The Fate of the Vengeful Souls

In a world shared by mortals, and other supernatural beings, lies an innocent girl in a peaceful village that soon turned into a hell.

This village was once protected by a pack where its Alpha made vow to protect this people, considering it his own. Many were joyed to this generous oath but not all agreed. Nevertheless, the righteous Alpha proved its vow and continued to help his people, mortal or werewolf.

Although it was assured by the Alpha itself, there are always some beings who despised this. Those who doesn't agree to it had formed a group behind the Alpha's back, and made an alliance with revengeful vampires who hated the current Alpha.

The Alpha had noticed that something is off, yet he trust his people and ignored this feeling. Which he truly regrets the day he was killed by his own friend and Beta. After the death of the Alpha, those who are loyal, including the Beta's son, Aragorn tried to fight back.

But they were strongly outnumbered, especially where the enemies have vampires in their side. Aragorn was soon forced to hide to avoid limiting his life.

In admist of this chaos, the innocent girl named Kali who fall asleep in the woods, unaware of the chaos, suddenly woke up from the sound of people screaming.

Instantly striking confusion and fear in her system, she immediately run back to her once peaceful village where she saw many people dead, some were mutilated, werewolves were reaping both human's and werewolf's body, and a very pale person sucking blood from her poor neighbor. Where everything changes from her old peaceful and sunny village into one scary hell.

Getting more frightened, she quickly and sneakily searched for her mother but she was far too late. Her home was completely destroyed, all furnitures were smashed and some cannot be identified. She look inside but her mother was nowhere to be found, until she heard quiet whimpering. Immediately knowing who it is, she run to its direction and stood frozen with tears come crashing down quickly.

Her mom was leaning in a tree, bloodily. She was covered in scars and blood.

Kali felt like her world stop when her eyes gaze at her mom's once legs, her right leg was bend in an awkward position while her left leg was almost ripped from her body. Her heart felt like it was torned apart, feeling guilty that she wasn't there when her mother needed her the most.

Her mom finally saw her and heavily cried once more when Kali run to her mom and hug her protectively.

"M-mom... I-i-i'm s-sor-ry... I-i've-e sho-ouldn-n't h-have le-eft y-you... I-its my-y fault-t..." Kali said mournful.

"Shh!! It's-s n-not your fault, o-okay? Y-you h-ha-ve to go n-ow." Aliera, her mother said trying to ease her daughter's negative feeling.

"N-No! I w-won'tt leave you m-mom!" Kali said desperately.

With one last smile, Aliera petted her head and said.

"You h-have too-o... I want y-you to live-e... N-no mat-tter what don't lo-ook back. Do you u-understand?"

Still not accepting it, Kali just nod at her mother, waiting for her take her final last breath. She immediately screamed at the top of her lungs, releasing all the pain that she felt.

When suddenly, someone picked her up which caused her to panic and scream out of fear.

"L-let go! D-don't hur-rt me please!" She screamed.

The stranger immediately put its hand in her mouth and drag her behind a wrecked house.

"Kali, it's me! Shhhh!! They'll hear you!" the man whispered.

Seemingly familiar Kali stopped and look at the man to confirm that it was indeed her friend, Miki.

"Mi-Miki... M-m-my... Mo-m..." Kali whispered back in pain.

Miki just looked at her with sympathy, until Kali noticed two red eyes behind him staring at her devilishly. She immediately tried to warn her friend but it was too late...

Before Miki could turn around the vampire quickly jump at his back and bite him, which cause a high-pitched scream. She tried to help but her friend is no longer alive at the time she pulled the vampire away.

She backs away instinctively while staring at the vampire's next moved. The immediately look at her hungerly like the 18 people he took wasn't enough to satisfy him. The vampire jumped at her but Kali expected it and dodge it quickly, running away immediately.

She looks behind checking if she was still being followed, when she suddenly bump into something. Gazing at what she assumed to be a tree was unfortunately the vampire from before.

Kali tried to escape again but the vampire have cleverly know her move and quickly put its two fang into her neck. She screamed in pain and felt a little weak.

Thinking what her mother said the poor fate of her beloved mother, the adrenaline quickly bursts in her body and pushed the vampire with all her strength, causing the vampire to caught off guard and surprised at the sudden push.

Without thinking, Kali runned as far away as possible while bearing the pain of her lost family and friends. After an hour of running, the adrenaline started to wear off and her body seems to get weakened every minute. With one last ounce of strength, she fell to the ground breathlessly.

Am I dying now? It hurts... I don't to die... I don't want to die alone, please help me! She thought.

"I-I'm s-sor-ry... I-i'm no-t strong e-enough..." As her last words end, so does her last breath.
