Reunion

Ace had been waiting in his office for a meet-up with Aurora. But, even traces of the woman he could not see. It looks like, the lady doesn't want to meet him.

Is this the sign that Aurora, hated him so much? Or, it will be a sign that she's not wanted to see him?

He then shook his head, struck by a glass of wine lying on his table. What else will Aurora make her look like? Almost everything!

Was it not, content with the devastation than in his heart? To this day, does the woman still make him feel and show that he does not love her and that she hates him? It's unfair!

He got up and went to the phone when it rang. It's his secretary.

“Hello?”

“Hello, sir. There is someone, who would talk to you. Her name is Aurora Samontes, Sir?” His secretary on the other line immediately greeted him.

He did not know but, he suddenly smiled when he heard Aurora's name. Now, it's time to start what he's planning. His waiting is now over.

“Okay, please tell her that, she waits for me in the conference room. I will be there, after five minutes.”

“Yes, sir. Copy.” replied on the other line.

He hung up the phone and smiled foolishly.

“Now, you're in my trap, Aurora. You can no longer escape me, I will make you mine again. I will make you fall in love with me. So hard, that you can't get enough of me; you can live without me.” He said as he drank the last wine in the glass he was holding.

He put it down, then adjusted his tuxedo. He walked out of his office, with a triumphant smile.

AURORA cannot rise in her swivel chair. Can she face Raxcer now? She can do it? Can she talk to him? She felt her mind whipped.

Why is she in such a hurry with her decision? Is she really, doing this because of the proposal or, she is doing this because she wanted to see Raxcer?

Last night she found out that Raxcer is the owner of the Vorex Chain of companies, and this is the new C.E.O of the VCC. Yhen afterwards, she made a decision, she did not want to face the man. But, she does not know what happened to her, and she is now here with the VCC company.

She tapped her forehead. She is ruining herself. Furthermore, she was about to leave the conference room when suddenly a baritone spoke behind her.

Likewise, she was out of breath because of that. Not only that, but she did not make a mistake— it was Raxcer Vorex— the man she never forgot, from then until now.

She took courage and a deep breath. Not only that, but she can do this, she can face Raxcer now. No matter what happens, she needed to be brave.

She turned in front of the man, almost falling to her feet when she saw the man's face. It's not Raxcer Vorex! This is no longer the man she left behind — a geek and seemingly weakly innocent.

Now, Raxcer is more matured and damned so hot and gorgeous! Those words are not enough to describe the man in front of her today. The man has no sunglasses. She could already see the entireness of its beautiful blue eyes.

Raxcer's hair is no longer flat-top, but it was messy, which gives him even more handsomeness.

The man's form is not bad loke before. It is far, far away from before. Now, Raxcer wearing a black suit and black slack. Its business attire is making Raxcer further enhanced with arrogance.

Raxcer no longer looks weak. Now, the man's looks like a man who owns the whole world. The kind of look giving her today, and in the kind of speech, it gives her shivers— the man's voice was very formal, and sharped.

She did not know, but she suddenly became depressed what she witnessed. The man she once loved is gone. The real Raxcer is gone forever. It looks like the cold Raxcer has been replaced. He seemhave no more feelings and emotions to feel, it was her fault, after all.

She blinked when he spoke again. “So, this is you now, Aurora Samontes. How's your life without me at your side? It's been a long time, and now we've met again. I'm curious about your life, how are you doing?” He said and asked.

She did not act immediately because of the kind of speech he gave. There seems an anger and hatred for her.

She did not know if she could stay longer in Raxcer's kind of stare. It looks like he is killing her inside.

The man sat in the swivel chair in front of her. She did not know what she should do. She held to the side of the table due to the weakness of her knees.

Raxcer still affects her, and this is what she needs to stop already!

It's just crazy when she keeps hoping, in a Raxcer, that he's gone forever.

“Raxcer Vorex. I'm coming here, for the proposal of yours and not about my personal life. So, if you have not mistaken, let's start with your proposal in our company.” She changed the subject of the topic.

She tried to be formal in front of the man, that in fact, she seemed to want to run and hide, so that he could not see her.

Why is she in such a hurry? Look, this is what she got!

She noticed the corner of Raxcer lip rise when he heard what she said. She did not know what that smile meant, but she was suddenly nervous.

“He would not have done anything wrong to me.” she whispered in the back of her mind.

“Oh, sorry, woman. But, my name now is Ace Vorex. You can call me 'Ace' instead of 'Raxcer'. My family and friends can only be called me, in my true name. Can you, called me Ace? Can you do that for me? In fact you are a stranger.” The man teased.

Even though, she was annoyed with the way Raxcer spoke to her, she forced herself to nod and then smiled at him comfortably. “Yes, I get what you're pointing out.”

“That's good then, now, let's talk about a proposal,” Raxcer said then he stared at her carefully.

She did not know but at those times, it was as if she wanted to cry and punch Raxcer because of the kind of thing the man showed and told her.

But, despite of all that. She was still smiling. Not because of the proposal, but because of the urgency with which she can still be with the man she loves, for a long time. Her heartbeat skip, a little.

She still in love with Raxcer 'Ace' Vorex, or, whatever the man's names.
