Chapter 11: His Cold

Aurora breathed as she stared into Ace's eyes.

She did not expect it to be in front of her now.

When she found out, she just woke up and was here in their house.

Didn't her daddy Dasel stop it?

"What are you doing here?" She asked in astonishment when she was able to get here permanently.

The edge of his lip erupted because of her reaction. "Didn't you say 'good morning, Ace' first, before you ask me what I am doing here? You haven't a right manner my darling."

Right manner? Darling?

She did not know but she was suddenly bored with what he said. Does it make her look like she has no manner?

Then, Darling? Is Ace this also what it calls its women?

Raxcer sat on the sofa in front of it.

She should never waste this opportunity. After all, Ace himself approached her and she will make her long-term plan for it.

"Direct me, Ace. What are you doing here? What do you need and this is how early you came to our house?" She asked a series of questions.

She no longer cared if she looked desperate in front of the man. The important thing is that she knows what brought this man to their house.

She stood up and laid a white enveloped hand on the table again. "Just wait for me here in five minutes. I just want to make my routines," she said goodbye then she went up to her room.

She quickly got dressed and took a shower. She only chooses the clothes she will wear for a while and she immediately puts them on. Even make-up she put on a little bit. After three minutes she was done.

She immediately went down to her room.

She even met her daddy Dasel. The old man smiled meaningfully at her.

"Your prince charming is waiting for you, princess. Good luck. Heart, don't enable it first, huh? It might fall again," he said with a smile.

He hugged her and patted her on the shoulder. Aurora also smiled. "Thank you, Dad."

He let go of her and entered his room again. She, on the other hand, rested deeply.

She went downstairs to the living room of their house where Ace, who was waiting for her.

He stood up immediately when he saw her coming down the stairs.

Aurora smiled as he stared at her.

The girl was stunned because of the strange smile Ace given to her.

She did not know what was running through his mind. She did not know what he was planning to do again.

When she finally got to where the man was standing, she immediately spoke. "So, Mister Vorex. I will ask you again, what do you need, and you still come here to our house?"

He smirked and then looked at her annoyingly. Although, she felt annoyed with the young man she did not notice it.

Luckily for this man in front of him, she loves it dearly.

That makes her hurts the fact that the young man can no longer reciprocate the love for her.

"I just came here to see you. Maybe you forgot what we talked about than in my office, that's the condition. That, I want to make you mine again. Not only that but also I want to take you back into my life again. Remember, you changed my proposal for your office. "

She was stunned by what the man said. She did not think the man still remembered that.

She did not know what to say to Ace. She could not find what to say. Confusing. This thrilled her. Sad.

Aurora could not understand how she should feel. She did not know what emotion she needed to feel.

Does Ace make her nervous? Or, it had other intentions towards her?

She looked at him seriously in the eyes. No other emotion can see in Ace's eyes.

She could not read what emotion was in the man's eyes as he stared at her.

She sneezed. "O-oh, do you still remember that? Tell me, Ace. Is that all you intend for me, or, is there something else? Isn't it about your revenge on us? By accusing us of being one of those who killed your mother? "

Ace's jaw tightened when he heard what she said.

Aurora could not understand. Why did one of their families cause the death of his mother?

"Isn't that your reason? Isn't that the intention of your coming here? Not really about your proposal to our company? Am I not right?" She added with a disgusted tone.

Every word that comes out of her mouth makes her feel even more pain. Is that how Ace feels about her family? A killer?

He grinned angrily. Ace's smile did not reach his eyes. His smile was about to drip tears.

Will the young man not answer her questions? Will it remain silent as stare at her?

Does this fool make her look like a fool? She sighed when she thought of the word fool. Not because of panic, but because of the truth. She is stupid.

"What? Will you just look at me? Aren't you saying anything? Won't you answer me? What ?! Answer me, Ace!"

She slapped him with her pouch bag.

Ace did not evade. He met her beating.

"Answer me, Ace! Answer me! I feel sorry for you, Ace. Answer me," she pleaded weakly.

The man did not move. He did nothing but look at her while she was upset.

He doesn't care about her anymore. Nothing. Nothing. And that makes Aurora painful.

He doesn't love her anymore.

She burst into tears. She is in pain. The pain of her heart feels like being stabbed and torn over and over again.

Is there no hope that Ace will love her again?

“Gone. Am I hopeless? But this is not the right time to give up. I will fight him. I will fight for him.” she whispered in the back of her mind.

She looked into Ace's eyes again.

“It's up to Cupid,” she added in her thoughts.
