Chapter 10: Her Heart Says

Ace angrily threw the key of his car on his bed. He had been disgusted before. He was restless with what was bothering his mind.

He is very angry with Aurora but why is he worried about the woman?

He was angry and not worried, but why is that? Why he was so affected by what he did to Aurora?

He cannot feel sorry for the woman. Aurora's family was one of the causes of his Mother's death. Therefore, the woman should pay for it, for the sin committed by her family.

He picked up his cellphone on the table near his bed.

He will just call someone. He brought his cellphone to his ear. This time, he needs his help.

His cellphone is already ringing. His older brother Ramson's cellphone. He is an investigator. Therefore, he desperately needs the man's help.

His older brother Gardon is a doctor. It is not obvious in its behavior and stance but that is the truth.

Hellias is a lawyer. Therefore, if they have faults siblings in law their brother is always their defender.

Zandro is a speed racer. The young man has no intention in life yet, so he still enjoys its youth stage.

"Hello, why did you call? Do you need anything?" His older brother Ram on the other line immediately greeted him.

He laughed softly. He did not think that he knew immediately his purpose. "Brother, Ram. You're right, I need you," he began.

"So what is it?" He asked as if hoping that his purpose was there.

He took a deep breath. It's different when he asks his older brother Ram for help. He did not hesitate nor question him.

That's what he wants. He immediately gets the thing he wants to get.

He looked at the ceiling of his room, before speaking. "I want you to investigate the childhood life of Aurora Samontes."

He heard that Ram burst out a laugh, because of what he said. Is there anything funny about what he said? Because he knew there was nothing funny about what he said.

He just rubbed his forehead, "do what I want, brother Ram. Just don't laugh at me. It's not funny anymore, okay?"

The man on the other line stopped laughing but he knew there was a small smile left on Ram's face. "Sorry, okay? The last time I checked, you don't know Aurora anymore. So why? Why are you now interested in her? Then you also asked her to tell me what happened to her after five years, and then now again, you're asking me to investigate her childhood life? Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! I can't believe it. "

One of Leyasa's eyebrows rose because of what she said. She winced at the reaction she saw from her.

Will she do it for the sake of Ace's heart, or, for the sake of her aching heart?

Leyasa tapped her shoulder. "what ?! Just think about it. You have to be prepared for the consequences of your actions, Aurora. What if, he won't like you anymore? Are you ready for it?"

Her hand stopped in the air because of what her friend said.

She looked at the lady's face full of concern. She could not find her one-answer for it. What if Ace no longer loves her? Is she ready for that?

Why didn't she immediately think of that? Is it possible for that to happen?

"Because the strength of my trust that he can fall in love with me. Even that question, I never thought. Oh, for goodness sake! This is pathetic!"

She slapped her face. She no longer knew what she should do. Maybe this is the time to give up on her plan.
