8: I DO

She stared at Taehyung like he's the most hateful human being ever existed.

The strange rectangular smile that formed on his lips was making her even more annoyed at the guy.

She let go of his collar with force sending him backwards a little but she didn't mind, she just couldn't take the look on his face anymore.

"Weirdo," she mumbled under her breath.

Taehyung slowly reached for her, trying to pick up the dirt stuck on her hair, but her reflexes were fast as she slapped his arms away immediately.

"What the hell!"

"You have something stuck on your hair," he mumbled, eyes focused on the single dirt staining her perfectly ebony colored strands.

He extended his arms and reached for it and she was left frozen, eyes fixed on the weirdest guy she'd ever met her entire life.

"I'm Taehyung," he said, finally succeeding on his mission.

Instead of answering him, she stood up abruptly and aimed to walk away when her vision suddenly spun around and she almost lost her balance.

Taehyung was fast, wrapping his arms around her so she wouldn't fall.

"You need to take a rest."

"I can manage myseeeefff*ck!!"

Without a warning, Taehyung scope her up, carrying her bridal style as she moved about, telling him to put her down.

He was incredibly strong though, not even budging as he made his way to the hallways.

"What room?" He asked, not even bothering to look at her.

She was gazing though,-- at his explainable good looking face. It's almost crazy, how small his face was, how sharp was his jaw line, how thin his red lips were, and how sparkling his eyes were.

His wet look didn't help at all, and it only, somehow, enhanced his features.

He looked like someone who just came out from a Manhwa… A perfect looking guy with a perfect manly attitude and heroic actions.

Any girl would fall.

But not her.

"Are you falling for me already?" A smirk formed on the side of his lips and she was brought back to her senses.

She scoffed at his statement and started mumbling words Taehyung couldn't make out.

"Room number, unless you want me to bring you into mine."

Her mouth fell open, and she realized that this weirdo might actually do what he just said so she just gave in and said her room number.

When they reached her suite, Taehyung carefully put her back on her feet. He smiled at her and then turned around and started to walk away without a saying a word.

"Nica," she whispered, but he heard her sweet little voice which got him to stop his steps.

"My name is Nica."

He turned his body sideways, just enough for her to get a view of his rectangular smile once again.

"I hope you face your problems instead of running away from them Nica," and with that, Taehyung left her speechless by the threshold of her room.

---

Days went by real fast.

You tried your best to stay away from Jungkook as much as possible but the day you wish would not come actually came rushing towards you like a waterfall, salty massive water all falling from the cliff only to land on your bare shoulders.

You felt drained.

Burdened.

If it was only you, of course you wouldn't have come, but when you asked your boss to send other employee instead he immediately said no and pushed you to go since it's your only chance.

So there you were sitting at the second raw of pews looking ahead at the bride and groom in front, listening to the Reverend as he said the usual words on weddings. Beside you was Taehyung who suddenly grabbed your hand to his lap, squeezing it tight.

You didn't realize that you actually fisting your fingers, only when Taehyung held your hand that you let out a deep breath to loosen your stiff composure.

You scoffed, tiny liquid started to gather on the side of your eyes.

Funny how all the three of you were there as well.

Taehyung, you and him.

Just like that night when he asked you to marry him and you said yes, then Taehyung suddenly emerged out of nowhere with a bible at hand.

You remembered his vow.

Asking you to stay by his side although he was sick and mad, telling you how much he wanted to grow old with you and see his grandchildren running around the house, assuring you that his love for you is forever.

Without an end.

Without any due.

But now as you see him on that tux, holding another woman's hand and getting ready to pledge himself to her,-- the ring attached to your necklace felt extra cold as you held it.

"Don't worry Y/N, everything will be alright," Taehyung whispered to you.

How could he even say that when only a few seconds now you would see Jungkook seal their vows with a kiss.

You could feel hot tears started to travel their way down to your cheeks.

Why did you have to sit to near the front?

You could see everything.

How he looked at her.

How her eyes were tearing up maybe because of happiness.

The Reverend started to ask the question to Jungkook, saying the girl's name on the process and asking him if he would take her as his lawfully wedded wife.

Please say no.

"I do."

His voice ringed on your ears like a high pitched siren, so loud you could almost lost your hearing.

You just wanted to vanish right then and there.

You thought you could take it but you couldn't, your heart was starting to tighten again and your breathing was getting uneven.

Your eyes were blurry but you thought you saw Jungkook passed a glimpse at you after he said the words I do, or maybe you were just imagining things.

"Do you take Jeon Jungkook to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" The Reverend continued asking the bride and you swore you felt Taehyung's grip on your finger tighten.

"I don't."
