Chapter 10 Movie date?!

Ring...ring...

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I grabbed my cell phone from night stand and opened my eyes a little to see the caller. Stance!!! It's Stance calling me!!! I got up and looked at the time, it's 10 in the morning. Today is Sunday, a day of complete rest. That's the reason Vis didn't come to wake me up like he usually does.

I answered quickly.

"Hello!!"I said smiling.

"Hey, good morning, beautiful!"he said in his sweet voice.

"Good morning!"I said blushing a little by the word beautiful. I can never get used to this nickname.

"I was wondering that today is a holiday and we won't be able to see each other...so...I thought how about...how about we go out for movie." he said little hesitating.

I smiled. He is so cute when he is nervous.

"Sure. Tell me the time and place. I will be there."I said smiling.

"Roxen theatre at 12, if it's ok with you." he said.

"Sure."I said hanging up the call.

I smiled and got out of bed. I have to make a quick conference call to my friends and tell them about this development and tell them I won't be able to go out with them.

I looked at my phone to make call when I saw a message. I guess someone sent it while I was asleep. I opened the message, it's from Claire.

I read it. " Sorry, Su. I ditched you but I did that so you call your Michael to take you home and you both get to spend some time. Don't get angry, please. ;-p"

I shook my head. She really will do anything to get me and Mickey together.

Let's call them and cancel our programmes.

"Hey, good morning!!!"I said

"Why are you so noisy so early in the morning?"Molly yawned.

"What? It's already morning? Ugh..I think I just slept."Claire growled.

"Girls...it's 10 in the morning."Elsa said.

None of us is a morning person except Elsa. She wakes up before us. She says she has seen sunrise too. I mean who gets up so early.

"Su..just spit it out so that we can sleep."Molly said with another yawn.

I shook my head.

"I am going on a movie date with Stance today."I said smiling.

"What???"they all shout in union. Now I have their attention and they are finally awake.

"Is he for real? I mean who just asks a girl out and then go on a date like everyday."Molly said.

"I feel like he is just trying to win Su's heart for some reason. I don't like this guy. I have a bad feeling about him."Claire said.

"This means you won't come with us. I guess we will have to take our boyfriend's offers."Elsa said. "Hmmm.." said Molly and Claire.

"Anyways, did you tell Michael about this because I know he will be the one to give you ride back and forth."Elsa asked.

"I called you girls first. I will call Mickey next."I said.

"Don't sit too close or cuddled to him while watching movie."Molly said.

"If he tries any funny business then just kick his ass and call us so that we can also use this opportunity to kick a playboy's ass."Claire said. I know she must be grinning thinking about it.

"Just be safe and don't get attached to him."Elsa said.

"Yes, grandmoms."I said and we all started laughing.

"Anyways, Claire about yesterday...I don't mind what you did."I said.

"Really! Wait...did something good came out as a result?"she asked excited.

"No."I said sighing.

"I guess we will have to try harder girls because our sweet friend here is little dumb in this love area."Claire said sighing.

They all giggled.

"Ok. Got to go. Bye."I said hanging up the call while they were still laughing.

My friends will never sit still until I and Mickey are together.

Let's leave them for now because they won't listen to me.

Now I just have to call Mickey and get ready.

I called Mickey. He picked up the call on second ring.

"Hey!"he said as soon as he picked up.

"Hey!"I said.

"What's up? You woke up so early on a holiday." he said.

I know he must be smiling. He knows I am not a morning person. I smile at this thought.

"Mickey, Stance called me for a movie date so, I was thinking that if you can give me a ride only if you are free."I asked nervously.

I know he has business to attend and he can't always be here whenever I want him to.

"Sure. What time?"he asked without any trace of emotion in his words.

"Umm..the movie starts at 12 so...11:30."I said.

"Ok. I will be there. Bye." he said and hanged up the call.

I don't know but I just feel that whenever I mention Stance's name Mickey seems to change. It's just my imagination or...no...this can't be true, why would he have any problem if I won't get hurt, right?

I shook my head and went to get ready.

After an hour I am ready wearing a knee length dress with flower patterns on it and left my hair loose. I still have half an hour left until Mickey comes. What should I do? I am so nervous because of this date that I just can't eat my breakfast but I think I should just eat otherwise if Mickey finds out that I haven't had my breakfast then he won't let me go anywhere. I laugh at the thought of his stubborn face that he makes when he is ready not to back down. He looks so cute when he is stubborn. No, actually, he looks cute all the time except when he makes that face that he makes when I talk about Stance. I don't like that look on his face...he seems...hurt...or something like that.

Growllll......my stomach growled. I sighed, I guess I should go and eat something.

"Maria!!! Take out some cereals and milk for me."I called out to our housekeeper and went out to the dining table.

"Looking lovely. Going somewhere? "Maria asked me setting milk and cereal bowl on the table.

"Yes. Going out with my friends."I lied.

She nodded smiling. "Have fun." she said and went inside to do some work.

I finished my breakfast quickly and sat on the couch waiting for Mickey.

Ding dong....

It must be Mickey. I quickly opened the door to see Mickey standing there with that look on his face that I hate the most. It just brings pain in my heart.

"It's correct 11:30. Shall we go?"he asked trying to smile.

I nodded smiling a little.

We went to his car. He opened the car door for me like he always does.

I was going to sit when he held my hand. I looked at him confused.

"Susi, umm...I..I..."he hesitated.

"Just say it Mickey."I encouraged him smiling.

He sighed.

"Just don't watch any horror movie with him as you always watch horror movies with me. Don't watch any romantic movie too as you should only watch such movies with the one you truly love. You can watch anything else with him...like a comedy movie or action movie.." he said then looked at me and sighed again.

"Sure."I said smiling and his face lit up.

He smiled broadly and I sat inside. I can do anything just to see this smile on his face. Anything.

He took the driver's seat and started driving.

"I forgot to tell you that me and Grapes, we both are going to meet our parents today in an hour. We will be back after two days. Our parents wanted to meet us. They said that they missed us a lot." he said and I looked at him shocked.

He is going away for two days.

"Don't worry. It's just for two days and the driver will be there to pick you up and will drop you back home. He won't tell your brother anything about this so you don't have to worry." he said and I nodded.

He care about me so much.

"And...I was...I was..."he said hesitating.

What's wrong with him? He is hesitating so much today which is so alien to him.

"Mickey, you don't have to hesitate to say anything to me."I smiled.

He smiled and said, "Let's watch a movie together when I come back. A horror movie."

I nodded smiling broadly.

"Mickey, you shouldn't hesitate asking me anything. We are best friends, right?"I said giving him a look.

"Yes." he said and smiled.

Watching a movie with Mickey, Vis and Ace is always fun. And it will be so much fun when the four of us will watch a movie after such a long time.

He dropped me and went away; now with a cute smile on his face that just made my day. Maybe because we are so close friends that his smile and sadness affects me this much.

I looked around and saw Stance standing with his phone to his ear. He is talking and sighing a lot.

I went to him. Is he worried about something?

"Hey!"I said as soon as I reach him.

"I will talk to you later." he said and hang up the call as soon as he saw me.

"Hey, beautiful! Looking as beautiful as ever." he said smiling.

I smiled.

"Is there something wrong?"I asked him. I just want to know what's bothering him.

"No. No. Why do you ask?"he asked me giving a confused look.

"Nothing. Just felt that way."I said.

He smiled and showed me the tickets.

"It's horror movie tickets. Let's go." he said smiling.

"Umm..I wanted to see something comedy or action today."I said nervously.

"Oh..ok. Wait here, I will get tickets of any action movie." he said and went to get the tickets.

He really is so sweet. He didn't even ask me anything even when he already bought the tickets.

He came back after five minutes.

"Let's go." he said asking for my hand. I smiled and kept my hand in his.

"The movie was great."I said smiling.

"That's true. And when watching with someone special made it even more fun." he said. I blushed.

"Do you want to eat something?"he asked looking around.

I was about to say when my phone rang.

I took out my phone and saw Vis's name flashing on my phone.

I just signalled Stance to keep quiet and took the call.

"Hey big bro!"I said.

"Hey baby sis!"he mimicked me and I laughed.

He too laughed and said, "There's a business party today at seven and as you are going to graduate soon and will come into our family business, I was thinking you should come with me to this party." he said.

Woohhh...business party!!! And this is the first time Vis is asking me to come otherwise for some unknown reason he always says no even if I ask him.
