Chapter 8

They all turn their head at Varun glaring at Rax.

"Why are you here?" he said coldly walking to front door continuing their glaring competition.

"Well We are here to pick you both for today's event.... the place is far so we are going now and will stay at resort for day and attend the party at evening then come back tomorrow...." Prakash broke the tension.

"And Rax said he wants to talk you about mission during travel so I bring him." Prakash finish his words.

Varun turned his head to Mahi signal her to pack up. She left and came back after sometime found them talking about some plan.

She cleared her thought to caught their attention.

"Let’s go." Varun order them and they all stood up.

The guards took the luggage to car and everyone head out. Suddenly Rax grab Mahi's wrist.

"Would you come with me, I will like to have some chit chats with you" he smiled innocently.

"Oh umm ok...." Mahi replied.

"Who do you think you are to ask her?! " Varun garbed her another wrist.

"FRIEND" Rax said in mocking tone.

"Mahi you are coming with me." Varun try to pull her but Rax hold tighter.

"She said ok then what's the problem huh..." listening Rax he still didn't let go.

They were fighting like kids but oppositely Prakash noticed some wounds on her hand and Mahi was whining in pain.

"Well Well Mahi and me didn't meet in a while, I had a lot to talk to my sis and she also want it, right Mahi?" He interrupts two giants.

He winked at her to know this sudden escape plan.

"Y-YEAH YEAH!! We didn't talk together in a while, I will come with you Prakash and Rax you can go with Varun. ha ha"

Before anyone would open their mouth, she freed herself and run in Prakash's car and close the door.

"See you both there." She waved at them, with that Prakash and Mahi left them dumbfound.

During the drive Mahi sighed heavily in relief. Prakash was curious of her wound so he asked

"Hey.... um... what happened to your hand."

Mahi looked at it "N-Nothing... I was a bit clumsy.... it was a week ago and now it’s almost healed."

"You think I won't know? I’m not stupid Mahi" Mahi turned her head to Prakash who was focusing on road but had worried expression in his eyes.

"W-Why do you say that?" She shuttered.

"I may not know the whole story, but I figure out he is not good to you since after this marriage, right?" Mahi sighed and looked down.

"On day of wedding, when he came to your room before vows, I heard everything.... And then leaving you alone on first night, firing all maids abruptly and now your hand. I end up at this that.... he hates you right?" Mahi nodded on his statement.

"But it’s not his fault completely to hate me, I came in his life without his permission and forcibly married him, if I was at his place I would also hated this situation. But I...." she looked outside the window and continued

"I don't have any choice either, this made me feel greedy for myself and guilty."

"I’m sorry but I can't go against Varun's decision. Now I felt sadder and guilty. He may be rude and cold but if he loves someone he is ready to do anything for them. You’re such a nice and lovely person too, I hope he soon look for you".

She chuckled and replied "Mr. Singh said the same, but it’s okay maybe I won't last long with him."

Prakash was confused a bit but comfort her "I don't force you but... in future if you feel comfortable you can tell your problems to this brother of yours. I can't promise all will be good but I will try hard to make him understand."

He smiled and she nod with a soft chuckle.

"Hey! I want to introduce my girlfriend to you, she is also joining." he exclaimed.

"REALLY!! you have a girlfriend? Why didn't you told me earlier our monkey has an owner hum" she said teasing him?

He stopped car near footpath where a girl was standing in black jeans and crop top with a suitcase. Prakash signaled her and she get in the car.

Mahi noticed the girl was scanning her curiously so she spoke up.

"Nice to meet you. I’m Mahi Singh. Prakash's so-called-sister."

Listening Mahi, she expression changed to bright smile

"OH!! You are Mr. Varun's Wife. right? Prakash told me about you. I’m Rena nice to meet you too hihi.... btw you are so pretty" she spoke poking her head between both the so-called-siblings seats.

"aww~. thanks. You too. I wonder how this monkey found so beautiful princess." both the girl’s giggles.

"Yah~! I’m handsome... where will you find such handsome and cool brother." Prakash state.

"And you Rena. you forget, you proposed me first hmm~" Rena scoff cutely at him.

"Aww. so nice. well How you guys meet?" Mahi asked turning back to Rena.

"Mahi I’m warning you don't go on her looks she is really dangerous" he acting scared.

"She is fighter and really give deep wounds." he act like dying.

"Yah yah stop with that Victim act of yours.... OK let me tell you. well a year ago I was on mission in London and here I met him. Our gangs were fighting together against our enemy and that time he saved me."

"after that I look for him and soon I fell for him. I directly ask him out and discovered this dumb also like me. however, I have many things to do beside thinking of him so I confess first." she act cool.

"O really... then also tell her how you asked me out... you know Mahi she literally chocked my guard because he denied to let her in my office. And-- " he attacks back but she cut him.

"OK OK, Fine so result, I hit on him first, desperately." Rena sigh and glared him.

"But I admit that she attracted me with her fighting skills and stole my heart with her cuteness Haha. I love you baby" Prakash spoke eyeing Rena.

"Aww I love you too baby boom~~" Rena replied peaking his cheeks.

"Geez, your relation is too sweet. I’m gonna be diabetic if this continue longer in car." the couple blushed on Mahi's comment and she laughed.

They talk all the way and Rena become close friend to Mahi.

After two hours’ drive they reached the Resort and spot Rax waiting for their arrival.

He reached them as they came out of car and invite them for shooting as the party was an at 7:00 p.m. and right now it’s only 1 p.m. Mahi agreed with a smiled whereas Prakash gave him annoyed look.

They reached the play station area and found a girl clinging on Varun's arm and he was unbothered about it.

As they step closer to them she recognizes the girl, she was the same girl who tripped her at office.

"So let’s start with play, I want to have a match with Varun, what you say?" Rax offered

"Okay" Varun accept challenge and glace at Mahi who was looking at that girl.

"Let go Cathy..." He purposely touched Cathy's waist to see his wife's reaction.

But Mahi didn't give a shit, she just rolled her eyes and followed to shooting area.

Rax fired the gun and score boarded showed. "8.5/10".

Now it’s time for Varun's shot. He aimed and fire

"9.5/10".

Cathy jumped and kissed his cheeks which he didn't bothered to stop.

Mahi may not show but upset was clear in her eyes. No matter how much she hates him but no wife in the world like to see other women touching her husband.

She decided to ignore and stand back behind Varun like statue.

"It’s not fair, you have both beauty's lucks by your side." Rax give silly complain.

Cathy pushed Mahi and sticking to his cheat now.

"Of course having a beauty luck like me can help a man like Varun win the whole world." she said arrogantly

Rena catch Mahi from falling and Mahi glare at Cathy.

"Beauty Luck my ass, you're more like clingy chewing gum." Mahi mocked, made Cathy angry.

In corner Prakash, Rax and Rena were surprised and laughing putting hands on mouth at her savage reply.

"Then why don't Mahi give her luck to me since Cathy's one is enough for him" Rax wink at her.

Mahi was already pissed by Cathy and now this flirty drama.

Mahi hates when someone flirts with her, it cringes her to death and made her uncomfortable, in addition she was famous for punching those who flirt with her in institution.

But right now she had to control.

She rolled her eyes and move to Rax side and said in done mood

"It’s not luck idiot, it’s all about distance, target height, velocity of bullet and right angle to shoot."

Here comes the scientist Mahi out. She went to back of Rax holding his straight arm aiming to target and his shoulder by her another hand. Varun's eyes gawk to their position ad clench his fist.

"According to the written distance and height on board and the velocity observed in previous shoot.... you need to put your arm in this angle, hold the gun a bit loose and.... fire"

*bang!!*

Everyone's eyes were on score board and it showed.

"K/O: 10/10"

Everybody in the area gasp in shock as it’s rare to get 10/10 in first attempt. They clapped and cheered for her, even the Varun's eyes were widening, she just smirked looking at score board.

"Dang GIRL!! you are amazing!!" Rax turn his shocked face to her.

"Sis you should join our gang!!" Prakash gasp overdramatically.

Mahi gave Prakash and Rena a hi-fi.

"Move on from your old ass luck, its already 21st century, use your brain, oh sorry god gifted it too few people only seem like you were not in that list. I pity you." she mocked savagely at Cathy.

Everyone started laughing at Cathy and she clench her fist in anger and embarrassment.

She gives glance at surprised figure of her husband. Prakash, Rena and Mahi left those three dumbfound again. Varun mumbled

"She is really something...."
