Chapter 11

Mahi wakeup and fetch her phone to see any reply from Mr. Singh for her text she sends before sleeping. But her phone was switched off.

"I didn't switch it off neither its battery was down.... did someone tried to open it?" Her sleepy eyes shoot open.

"VARUN!!" she saw if there anything wrong in it and found Mr. Singh's call which was received the time she was sleeping.

"OH God....he must have attained the call and tried to checked my phone. Its good I put my digital lock in it." She sighs.

"Otherwise he would have checked my files and texts with Mr. Singh about launch meetings." she again sighed in relief.

After fresh up she went downstairs to start chores. Varun had already left. After completing work, she dialed to Mr. Singh again and he picked up.

"Hello Mahi" he spoke.

"Yes Father.... I’m sorry yesterday I was tired so I slept early. By the way did you found out what Kevin is upon these days. I meet his brother yesterday and he told me Kevin had come to London for party. But I don't think that's only reason."

"I also think so. Here conditions are not good and in this situation leaving New York suddenly just for party is foolish."

"Do you think he had found out.... because he was first to know about ARCER too and I still can't figure out how in hell he got its information." she face palm herself.

"I can't say anything right now dear. Your records and locations are deleted from here, But the info's which were leaked, creating problems." he explain.

" I decided to finish all these gangs here so everything will be at peace." he sighed "And about Varun.... be careful. Yesterday he picked the call, he must be curious of my sudden call. Did he check your phone too?"

"Yes. But my phone is highly secured which only I can open other than that it will get switched off by itself so it’s not a problem. Don't worry about that." she ensured him.

"OH DIGITAL LADY!! when I come back you will teach me your technology too! OKAY!" he said joyfully, here Mahi laughed.

"I got information that Kevin will be there for 2 days so you will go with Varun to Paris tomorrow, he is going there for some mission, I will inform him about you joining. Stay there for 2 days till then Kevin will also return. Try your best to not meet him hmm."

"AYE AYE CAPTAIN!!" He chuckled on her response.

"Have fun their child and call if any problem is there. Take care" They hung up.

*AT VARUN'S OFFICE*

Varun was here early to finish pending works as he was going to Paris for mission tomorrow. Prakash and Rax had already reached there for arrangements.

Somewhere he was thinking of what happened last night. He called his hacker.

"Hey um.... I wanna ask Is there any security system with pattern lock in phone that if we got all trials wrong it will show some numbers and then switch off?" he asked curiously.

"Well I’m not sure... can you tell what number." hacker replied.

"It’s....01....0011...01. yeah 01001101"

"Sir the far I know this is binary form of capital alphabet 'M'. Rest I don't know. I will get details for you ASAP." he hummed and cut the call.

He was merged in his work deeply then a call interrupt him.

"Hello" he said focusing on his papers.

"Hello son Its my dad"

"...... why did you called?" still looking in papers.

"I called you to tell that Mahi will go with you to Paris." He dropped his pen in frustration at his dad's announcement.

"I’m not going there for picnic or something. And it will be dangerous to bring her there." he spat out.

"Who is telling you to take her to mission site. Anyways its already out of city so leave her near Champs de Mars at 5 Avenue Anatole France in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Your hotel is already booked there."

"She will also have got the chance to see Eiffel tower. She didn't go anywhere after wedding and Paris is a good place for you two. I have already booked the tickets so have a nice journey and take care of yours and her.... she is our responsibility." Before Varun could protest he cut the call.

"Hello Hel--, WHAT THE HELL!! AM I HER BODYGAURD OR WHAT?!" sigh in disbelief

"Is he my dad or hers should I take parental test?!"

*NEXT DAY ARRIVED AT PARIS*

Mahi's P.O.V.

The whole flight was quiet and awkward. He had his long face all along the way and was busy in his calls and online meetings.

He is really a busy man... a very veryyyyy busy man. I remembered when I was preparing for ARCER's first protocol I was also too busy and mesmerized in it that I didn't came out of my lab for whole 3 months.

*Flashback with Mahi’s p.o.v.*

My Uncle was pretty pissed because he cared about my health as I was skipping meals because of my busy schedule.

It was my b'day and I still didn't come out that morning too. So his brilliant brain ordered a karaoke and install it in TV and sang his lungs out with full volume.

Our house was shaking and my underground lab buzzed the emergency alarmed. I was so scared thinking it’s an earthquake.

"what happened up there??!" completely unaware of thunder going on upstairs.

As I opened the door my ear drums blast. He was singing:

"FIIIRRRRRREEEEE~~~ JHA JHHA BHUSIDIKA BOW BOW BOW FIIIRREE~~~ "

I had hands on my ears which were already bleeding by this volume and his horrible singing driving me nuts.

I shouted so many time but he and his BTS fire fever oh god!!... worse than mine.

I run to TV plug, pulled it out in one go and fall in relief.

"Uncle Are you planning to kill me with your singing again?!" I nearly yelled.

"Well no but at least you will die listen your favorite idol's music." he said smirking.

"Ha-Ha. I will die by your singing not by their music" I just glared at him.

"Okay okay I won’t anymore, my throat already hurts " he said holding his throat.

"HAHAHAHA!! TIT FOR TAT!!... who told you to sing this horribly, be thankful I didn't report you and they didn't sue you for cursing in their lyrics... you think I don't know desi curses " now it was my time to smirking.

"Aish! THIS GIRL!!.... really scary... I will steal your marches and sell all BT21 crop tops online and order for my size hoodie." he laughed evilly.

"WHAT!! no no please" I said with puppy eyes and pout.

"Alright alright I won't but now come and..." he brought a cake from kitchen

"cut your Birthday CAKE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGEL!!"

I was so happy I nearly forgot my birthday because of my work but as always he was prepared with cake.

*End of Flashback*

As I was thinking of my happy and funny days with my Uncle, a laugh came out of my mouth and starts giggling but soon I feel coldness in car.

I tilled my head to side and saw Varun throwing death dagger's from his eyes at me.

I gulp hard looking at his eyes and mouth "sorry".

He just sighed, shocking his head and get back to his laptop.

"Wtf. I nearly died from his glares" I mentally calm myself.

And here soon we arrived to our hotel. As soon as I got out of car he throws a pass at me from the car and said

"Go in and don't go anywhere... I will be late."
