Chapter 7

Alisha's Pov

Until now, I'm still dumbfounded by what happened earlier. Like what the fuck right? Is that really Axel? And what he told me earlier was heart melting. Like, if he hadn't held me earlier, I might have fallen to the floor because my legs were getting weak.

"Hija are you okay?" Mom asked worriedly and held my hand. I smiled.

"Don't worry mom, I'm fine." I said. Mom and I were the only two at the table because the two men were talking to big people like them.

"Glad to hear that. By the way Alisha be ready yourself because at the end of this event we will introduce you as Gray's Wife and our daughter-in-law."

"Isn't Axel and I's marriage supposed to be a secret? Why introduce me?" I'm surprised to ask because it's true. Axel wants this marriage to be secret so I just go with the flow.

"Gray's wants Alisha and its better for everyone to know that our daughter is already married." I didn't say a word and stayed silent on one side. I was suddenly nervous. If you don't ask, I'm really nervous.

"Ahem!" We looked at the stage and saw papa with Axel on the stage and papa holding a microphone. "May I have your attention everyone." Papa started and everyone's attention was focused on him.

"Thank you for your attention everyone. Before this event will end me and my wife have a special announcement for all of you so uhm me i call my beautiful wife and my beautiful daughter in law to come up to the stage?" The whole venue was filled with whispers because they didn't expect my relationship with the Carter family.

"Let's go hija." Mama said and got up so we followed.

"What?! Daughter in law?"

"So its mean she's my husband's wife? Gosh she's not pretty. I'm way prettier than her."

It was a while ago. I think there is an issue with me and why is he claiming that my wife is his wife? But after all, it's free to dream so I won't break his trip because there's no trip to break.

"Argh! If they're already married why didn't I hear about it? The Carter family is famous so it's impossible that it didn't come out in the media."

It probably won't appear in the media because only relatives and close friends were invited to the wedding.

Dad helped mom to get on the stage while Axel supported me and we walked to the center of the stage together.

Mom took the microphone from dad and he spoke.

"I know all of you are wondering why their wedding did not appear in the media. It's just simple because we make it a private wedding." Mama explained here and more and more women roared like they couldn't accept the marriage of an Axel Gray Carter whom they admired.

"So I would like to introduce to all of you that this girl beside my son was my daughter in law. She's Alisha Mae Santos Carter." I just smile a bit because I don't want to look poor. Smiling, mom gave the microphone to Axel who accepted it and led me to the very front of the stage.

"I am sorry for keeping our wedding in private but that's what our both families want. Now I expect everyone of you to respect my wife just like on how you respect the whole Carter family because she belongs to the Carter family and when you try to harm my wife think again because you will know what I am capable of doing. That's all." He said in his cold voice. I almost fainted because he threatened me. Hey..

Mom and dad finished the event safely and now we are here in our hotel rooms. Yes, hotel rooms because mom said we're going to spend the night here because it's already late. There are guests who have gone home but there are some guests who stayed here at the hotel because they are tired from traveling.

Axel and I got dressed because mom had already planned for us to spend the night here, so there were clothes ready here.

Now we are lying down and yes we are next to each other. It's fine with me that we live side by side because we're married but there's still space between us just to make sure hehe..

"Uhm.. Axel.." I called it as I stared at the ceiling. I know it's still awake.

"Hmm.."

"About what you said in the event.. is.. is that true?" Syems! My heart seemed to ramble with the force of its beating. Am I aware that he told me earlier that I was just a jino joke time and that I was just his person?

"Yes, it's true that I am starting to like you. I don't care if you don't like me but I'll do everything to make you fall in love with me." He said that's why I turned to him and he was also looking at me.

I couldn't say anything because I was still in a state of shock from what I heard from him and I didn't realize that I was smiling and for the second time he smiled at me genuinely.

It moved closer to me and grabbed me then nuzzled my neck. I was tickled by his breath hitting my neck.

"Let's sleep wife I know that you're tired. Good night and dream of me." He said softly and kissed my forehead so I closed my eyes in no time before I felt him squeeze my neck again so I fell asleep smiling.

'The feeling is mutual husband.. i am starting-- no i am already falling for you..'

Alisha's Pov

I woke up and the person next to me was gone. I rubbed my eyes and got up. Just in time the door opened and Axel entered with a tray.

"Glad your awake. Breakfast in bed?" I nodded. Axel first placed the tray on the edge of the bed and took the mini table to place the tray and placed it on top of the bed then placed the tray of food.

Just a normal breakfast. Bacon, hotdog, scrambled eggs and fried rice and a glass of milk for me and coffee for him. It also has water in case we choke.

"Are mom and dad still here at the hotel?" I asked and started eating.

"No. They're already leaving early and they have something else to attend to." I nod and just eat. He is the same.

After we ate our breakfast, I took a shower since Axel finished taking a shower while I was still sleeping. And about our dress, there is also something ready that we didn't wear last night at the event.

"Please come down to my restaurant, husband." I said here while we were on the flight. I don't want to go straight home and I want to go to the restaurant to check my crew.

He nodded and continued driving. After a while, we arrived at my restaurant.

"I'll pick you up after your work." He said and removed the seatbelt then leaned down and kissed me on the forehead and lips. Kyahhh!!! Your sister is thrilled hahahah..

"Sure if you aren't busy. Just give me a call if you're going to pick me up." I said smiling and he nodded so I got down and walked into the restaurant. The guard greeted me when I entered and I went straight to my office.

I was just sitting down when the door opened and Linda came in smiling. If I haven't already told you Linda is my secretary and she is also the manager in my restaurant.

"How was the event last night?" I frowned. How did she know that I didn't tell her about that event.

"How did you know?" He looked up and sat on the chair in front of my desk.

"Duh? Last night's event as well as the issues that happened last night are all over the world."

"What? What issue?" Still frowning when I asked coz I seriously had no idea what he was talking about.

"Your unbelievable Alisha. Are you for real?" She took a deep breath and looked at me, but this time a smirk formed on her lips. "Well, let me give you a clue my dear best friend. It is about you and your husband's issue now you know?" Little by little, my eyes widened because what he was saying was sinking in.

"What? What a mess n-- or sh*t! The press." I took my cell phone out of my bag and opened my social media account and she was right what happened at the event last night.

This is shocking news! Everyone's can't believe that our beloved Axel Gray Carter already married someone this is just so unbelievable!

That's the caption on a post with a picture when we were on stage and Axel gave a threat. I scrolled down and my eyes widened at what I saw. It was a picture of me and Axel kissing!

Gosh! What a lucky girl! I envy her because our dear Axel Gray Carter kisses this woman in public! How to be you miss Alisha??!!

D*mn! That's why I noticed a while ago when I was about to enter the restaurant, the customers were constantly looking at me while looking at their cellphones. This is the reason.

Argh! I hate this. But it seems I have no choice. This issue is already known by everyone.

"Gosh, you're really lucky, Alisha, joke about a great Axel Gray Carter, he kissed you and he already announced to everyone that you are his wife." Linda is still smiling and teasing me.

"Aish what should I do? How am I going to get out of this? I haven't even set foot outside yet and I'm going to be mobbed by Axel's fans. A celebrity idol is still overpowered by the number of people who admire him."

"Hahaha just go with the flow Lish. Show them who you are that you are capable of being Axel's wife. Don't beat yourself up. Ganern!" Aish, I thought he was my friend, but instead of comforting me, he said something else. It really sucks.

"You know me Linda, I won't let anyone harm me but my suppose to be normal life ruined in just a snap because of this issue. For sure I know everyone and I can't freely do what I want because many people have followed my every move." I said annoyed. I still agree with the president's son.

"So your saying that you regret what happened last night?" He said seriously. I held my breath.

"No. I don't regret it infact I'm happy because I know in my heart that I'm slowly being loved by the person I love." I admit. Yes, I love Axel already.

"Then good for you. You don't have to worry about it because for sure your husband will protect you from any harm." Hey, what's the matter, I don't need protection. I'm fine with my husband by my side.

Someone's Pov

I've said everything cheaply because of the intensity of my anger.

"No! Axel is only mine, he can't be with that girl. Arghhh what right does he have to steal mine! I will kill you Alisha!!" I was very angry and threw away the things I picked up.

'Be ready b*tch because i will kiss you for stealing Axel..evil grin
