Chapter 6

Alisha's Pov

I'm here now in my room and currently being fixed by the hair stylists that mama Zyrine hired for me. I don't want to because I can make myself presentable and I don't want to be embarrassed either.

"Oh, Sistar, your face is pretty. You look like a goddess." The gay guy who was doing my make up told me so I looked in the mirror and was impressed with my appearance.

Not to brag, but gay is right, I look like a goddess. Wow! Just wow! I don't think I can make anything better.

"And for your hair, let's just make it simple to match your make up and your gown." Said the gay man assigned to fix my hair.

"Your right Sistar.. or him miss Alisha put on your gown for sure any minute from now your hubby will arrive. Look or it's almost time you might be late for the event." I nodded and took the gown that mom and I bought from Ella's boutique. I entered the walk in closet and put on the gown.

I didn't have a hard time wearing it because I'm used to wearing gowns like this so it's just kerebells.

"Wow! you're really beautiful girl you're so good at you." Ayra shouted that he was the gay man who made me up while Eyrie was clapping on one side.

"Thank you for your efforts." I said and smiled at her then turned my gaze to the whole body mirror.

After a while, there was a knock on the door which Eyrie immediately opened.

"Are you done?" I turned around in surprise. I saw Axel standing at the door with a poker face.

"Oh yes! Your husband is ready sir..." Ayra said like a worm.

"And look at her ser she looks stunning and very beautiful isn't she?" Eyrie taught me more at the same time. I blush because of what she said and add the melting look that Axel gives me.

And mars he is so handsome on his black suit. The blank expression on his face suited him.

"Yes. She is." He said that's why my face got redder. "Let's go. Mom called me a while ago and they are already in the venue waiting for us." I slowly nodded and took my pouch from the bed and followed Axel out of my room.

He supports me in the car ride. It's surprising that he has become a gentleman now, like you're really a real husband and wife, it's like we really love each other. That's it. But I know to myself that it's impossible to happen because this marriage of ours is not what we want. We were really forced.

"Let's go." I was brought back to reality when Axel spoke, who was already outside the car and was opening the door on my side.

I nodded my head and he immediately got out of the car and he supported me so I thank him for that.

The company's annual event was held at one of the Carters' hotels. Now we are here in front of the hotel and there are still red carpets. It's really obvious that the event is very social and for sure the super rich and the uplifted in society will attend it.

I was surprised when Axel took my hand and put it on his arm and we started walking on the red carpet.

Many camera flashes greeted us as we walked because the Carter is one of the famous family, add the man next to me. He's really famous in the world of business because at his early age he can run his own company so many people admire him that's why there are press here.

I smiled a bit because I don't want my facial expression to look ugly in pictures no.

"Alisha, Axel I'm glad that you came at just the right time. Soon the event will start." Mom greeted us and dad even kissed me.

Axel pulled me a chair and we sat down. We are only at the same table and we are in the first place so I can see what is happening on the stage.

I looked around the entire venue and I can only say one thing, the arrangement of the venue was beautiful. There is a large stage in front of it that says Carter's group of companies annual event and has glitters as a design.

Those people are obviously uplifted in society, the way they dress, their make up and accessories that they wore, it's pretty obvious that they came from a wealthy family.

The girls just like me are wearing gowns, different designs and the boys are wearing tuxedos just like papa and Axel.

I looked ahead when a woman came up on stage with a microphone. Guess she's the host for tonight's event.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I want to welcome all of you for attending this annual event of Carter's group of companies." The woman greeted and smiled widely at the guests. "Now, it won't take much longer and let's call Mr. and Mrs. Carter to start the event. Sir? Ma'am?" Dad stood up and slightly adjusted his tux then led mom up to the stage. The stairs are only three steps high.

They elegantly woke up through the stage and gave the mic to dad.

"Ehem! Good evening everyone. I am glad that you accepted my invitation to my company's annual event. I just want to thank all my employees who make an effort to make this event like this." Papa said with a smile and the guests applauded and I just followed suit. Dad said something else but I didn't listen because this is the first time that I attend this kind of event.

Because I don't attend events at grandpa's company. I would rather lie in my bed all day than socialize with people, and I know when it comes to business most people just pretend to be human to make their image look good.

If only it wasn't embarrassing for mom, I would have attended this event.

Alisha's Pov

The party has started and there are people dancing on the platform. Yes, this event is on the dance floor, but the romantic dance is not the budots hahaha joke

So back to the story. Axel and I were just sitting here at our table while watching the people around us.

Mom and dad are entertaining their business partners so they are not at our table. I don't know about the one next to me who won't leave here. He's a business man right so he should talk with other business men and women.

"Are you bored?" I turned to the person next to me and saw that he was staring at me. Err.. do I have dirt on my face? He is so intense that you can really stare.

"Hmm a bit. I'm not used to attending this kind of event." I answered and took the wine glass and drank its contents, why is that a glass, right? Hehe I'm talking to myself too.

"You want to go home? I'll tell it to mom." It said coldly. I will never be able to get rid of his coldness to deal with, but somehow I can see a sweet side of him.

"Ah no! We'll go home later and one more thing, why don't you talk with other people? I've been noticing them for a while now." I'm right. I've been noticing their stealing glances here at our table, especially the women, just by looking at them it's like they're undressing my husband. Psh it's good to pull out.

"Let them be. I'm not interested in them." He said and stood up. Did I think he's not interested e san to pupun-- "can i have this dance with you, wife?" I looked at him and his outstretched hand in shock. We have the attention of the crowd.

And because I wanted to dance with him the second time, I smiled and accepted his offered hand.

The whispering around has also started.

"Who is he?"

"Come on! I just saw that Gray asked to dance."

"This is unbelievable! Who's that girl and how dare she dance with my husband?!"

tears? I am the wife and he is how dare she to claim my husband as her husband. The thickness of the face!

"I can't believe what I saw just now."

I just shook my head from what I heard around me. They are like bees whispering.

Those who were dancing earlier on the platform were leaving, so now Axel and I are on the platform and everyone's attention is on us.

It's just a humming song, it's just music, but it doesn't have lyrics like that that is being played today.

I put my hands on his shoulders and his hands were on my waist. Gosh! There's the electricity running through my veins again. I don't know why he has such a strong effect on me. He just held me a little bit and I got an electric shock and my normal heart beat became abnormal. He has such a strong effect on me.

Our movements are slow and we really go along with the soft music. Axel stared at me intently while I looked away. I don't know why but I can't look directly in his eyes.

"Look at me wife." I don't know what came over me and I looked at him because he called me softly.

He smiled and his face slowly approached me. OMG! I...is he.. i.. is he going to kiss me?! My gosh, I can't take this feeling. The strength of my heart beat.

I closed my eyes thinking he was going to kiss me, I heard him chuckle so I opened my eyes.

Axel's Pov

I'm enjoying seeing my wife like this. She's cute when she's blushing.

"W-why are you laughing?" He asked like a child while snorting like a child. Fuck! She's so damn cute. And her lips I want to taste it.

"I'm just enjoying the view, wife." I said waking up. "And you really expect me to kiss you." I said laughing.

Her face blushed even more when she bowed but i won't let her hide her blushing face. I slowly lifted her face and this time I smiled genuinely at her.

"Your really beautiful my wife. I'm glad that I marry you." I said smiling and slowly kissed his forehead. It closed its eyes. "I know that this marriage just forces us to marry each other and there is no love involved in it but.." I continued what I was saying and kissed him on the bridge of his nose. "This cold hearted billionaire is starting to like you." After I said that I kiss her on the lips he realized that her eyes were closed and at the same time the camera flashed.

By this action of mine I know that everyone in this event will know that this woman I am kissing with is now mine..
