Chapter 9

I was crying as I try to escape that dirty house. I don't care what speed I am, I just want to go to my son and hug him.

I don't know what I am lacking but as I remember I gave Ashton everything. He's the one who suddenly become cold and now I know he's reason.

As I am speeding I suddenly step on the break when a white van suddenly pop up. I didn't saw him because of my tears. I wipe my tears before going out.

"I'm so sorry. Is anyone hurt?" I asked to a old man driving the van.

"No. We're all good. Thankful we saw you, are you hurt?" I want to nod but I am hurt emotional not physical.

"No. I'm really really sorry."

We didn't bump into each other so we just talk for awhile before we separate ways. I know Ashton will follow me so I drive fast again until I reach our house.

I saw Yaya Ning playing with Daneyel. I know that I look a mess. "What happened?" She asked.

Since we are also close I already talk to her about our problem because I'm scared to tell my parents. "It's true. He is having an affair." I said.

I grab Daneyel. "Yaya Ning do me a favor please pack our clothes. I am going to my parents house." She nodded.

"I'll follow your things." Yaya Ning said.

"Thank you."

I sat Daneyel on his chair before I drive to my parents house since it's not too far.

I saw his car so I go to the gate 2 to exit. Hoping that he didn't saw me.

When I reach my parents house. I quickly get Daneyel and enter the house but before I fully enter someone already grab my wrist and I know it's Ashton.

"Daddy!" Daneyel said.

"Zea, let me explain. Please!" He said. I close my eyes so calm myself. I don't want to shout or anything because Daneyel is here.

"Let me go, Ashton." I saw so calm. "Zea, please."

"I said let go, Ashton." I look at him with my angry eyes then he let me go.

I enter the house and there I saw my Mom watching television. "Mommy," I called her.

"Hija, why are you here?"

She come to me and I gave her my son. "Please bring Daneyel upstairs, Mom."

I can see confusion in her eyes. "Please, Mom." She nodded. Her eyes are on me as I look at them going upstairs.

Seeing my son so happy with his grandma makes me cry. "Zea, I'm sorry." I look at Ashton as his tears fall down.

I pull him to a guess room on the first floor. I don't want my parents to hear us. "How dare you do this to me? To us!"

He did not answer but instead he try to hold my hands. "Don't touch me after you touch that bitch! You're disgusting!"

"You prefer that bitch than to us? We are your family, Ashton! We have a son for God's sake!" I didn't stop my tears to fall down.

Ashton tried to wipe my tears. "Don't cry. It's my fault and I am so sorry."

"Did you think of me every time you are with her? Because I am always thinking of you wondering why are you so cold to me! You change because of her! Ashton this is not you!"

He kneel down and hug my legs. "I have no excuse to say. I Kno sorry is not enough but I can wait until you forgive me. I didn't know what gotten to me and I did that but I promise you nothing happened. I'm so sorry, Zea."

I didn't answer this time. My tears are continue falling.

I can hear knock from the door and I know that's my parents. "Why did you do this to me! I fight my parents just to be with you until the day I die... but look what you've done."

I am hitting his shoulder as I rant to him. I don't want to hurt him or say bad things but I can't resist. I am having this mixed emotions and I don't know what to do.

The door open then my father came. "What happened?" He asked.

I don't like the idea of telling him because I know how he react and what will he do but I am shock when Ashton move and kneel in front of my father.

"Dad, I am so sorry." That's what he said.

"What did he do?" Dad asked me. "He.. He.." I can't continue.

"I had an affair. No excuses to be said. It's all my fault." Things become so quick I was when Dad punch Ashton.

He did it twice before I realize what is he doing. I come in between them and protect Ashton.

I am mad but I don't want him hurt. "Dad, stop it. It's useless." Mom came and saw us so he stop Daddy.

"He hurt you, Zeanna. What do you expect me to do!" Daddy said to me. "And you-" He pointed Ashton.

"Leave my house now! I don't want to see you or else..." Daddy didn't continue his words then he left followed by my Mom.

Ashton's side lips are bleeding and he's tears are still falling. "I am so sorry. I'll give you time but always remember that I am willing to wait until you forgive me. I love you so much and our son. I won't leave."

That's Ashton's final words before he leave the house. I felt so weak so I let my self completely sat on the floor, hug myself and cry.

It hurts so much knowing that he really have an affair to someone I really know. We met accidentally and we became friends. What a fucking small world!

I have to be strong for my son. When I pull myself together. I wipe my tears and go upstairs to my son.

Daneyel is with Yaya Ning already. "Leave us for now." I said as I lay down beside him.

He is playing his toys. I hug his body as I let myself cry beside him. "You.. cry'in, Mommy?" Daneyel stop playing and look at me.

I smiled when he wipe my tears. "I love you." He said that makes my tears fall like a water falls. "I love you too."

I think I am still lucky that I have him even though his dad is a jerk.
