Chapter 4

Everything is back to normal again. I am busy cooking our lunch while Daneyel is still sleeping.

Ashton is at the office doing his work. I woke up early without him.

Wifey,

Have a beautiful day just like you. I love you and see you later.

I called him immediately after reading the note. "I am planning to go to the mall after lunch with Daneyel. Anything you want?"

"I'm good baby. Take care." That's the ending of the call.

The food is already done so I go upstairs to wake up Daneyel. "How's your sleep?" I asked.

"Good." Daneyel answer as he rub his eyes.

We eat first before taking a bath and preparing to leave. I wear a simple jeans and white polo shirt.

I can't wear sexy clothes now that I am a mommy. I seldom use my stilettos, I preface sneakers and flats now.

I buckle up Daneyel at his seat before I cross over to the driver seat. "Are you excited?"

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I giggled at his reaction.

I spend the last two hours shopping for clothes and shoes for Daneyel. He's getting taller and bigger by day so he needs new clothes.

"What do you want for shoes?"

I let him roam around to check shoes and when he touch the white nike sneakers, I check it first if it's okay before looking for his size.

We both got hungry so I decided to eat at a restaurant we usually eat. I help Daneyel eat before I continue mine.

It was a fun day with Daneyel since we don't usually go out to just shop or roam around like this.

We are walk towards the exit when I accidentally let go of Daneyel so he run. "Daneyel." I called him.

I walk faster to reach him when he bump into someone that made him bounce and sat on the floor.

"Daneyel."

I scoop him so that he won't cry. "Oh my. I'm so sorry." The lady said to us.

I look at her and I can say that her age is close to mine. She's pretty too.

"No. It's okay."

She look at Daneyel. "Are you okay?"

"Yes. Sorry." I smile because my baby knows how to say sorry. She also giggled and pinch Daneyel's cheeks.

"You're cute."

"Say thank you." I said to Daneyel.

"Thank you."

We say goodbye to each other so we continue to the parking. "Don't run again at the mall, okay?"

He nodded without looking at me because he is playing at his new toy that we bought earlier.

When we got home Ashton is still not home. Daneyel slept on our way home so I put him on the bed before getting the things that we bought.

It's still early so I lay down beside Daneyel and sleep too. I woke up with someone wrapping his hands on my waist. When I open my eyes it's Ashton.

"Did I wake you up?"

I shook my head and turn around to him. "You just got home?" He nodded.

I can smell his manly scent. "You want to eat?" I asked.

"I'm still full. I can wait until dinner time."

"Okay. Let's stay like this." I heard him chuckled. "Do you miss me that much?" I nodded while my eyes are still close.

It's not that I miss him today, I miss how are we before. How we like to cuddle all day and don't do anything. I miss how we are before but I know everything changed since we got Daneyel now.

He's a blessing that we made by love. "How's your day?" I asked then look at him.

"Let's move to our room." Daneyel's bed is enough for two people only since he's still small.

I was about to stand up when Ashton scoop me. I almost scream thankfully I cover my mouth or else Daneyel will be awake.

I slightly punch his chest then he chuckled. "You scared me." He didn't answer.

He slowly lay mw down on our bed before he put my head on his arm and we hug each other.

"So, how's your day?" I asked again.

"It was good and boring because you're not there."

I giggled. "You're cheesy!"

Ashton chuckled too. "How about yours? Did you go to the mall?" I nodded.

"It was good too. I had the chance to spend time with Daneyel. We both you a t-shirt by the way."

"Thank you baby." I felt him kissing my forehead.

"Daneyel bump into a lady earlier." I look at him and he looks so worried. "Nothing happened. He even say sorry without me telling him."

Ashton smile. "That's my boy."

We stay cuddling for few more minutes before we get up to cook dinner. Ashton suddenly crave for baked macaroni so that's our dinner.

"I really love your macaroni." He said when we are eating.

"Of course. I'll kill you when you say something that will offend my food." I chuckled at the end.

Yaya Ning usually join us on the table since she will have no one when she didn't not and it's more convenient since she's already part of the family.

I took Daneyel and play with him a bit since he slept earlier.

"What are your plans for tomorrow?"

We are at the living room and Ashton is on his laptop. "Not sure but I don't have meeting tomorrow."

I nodded. "Why are you asking?" He look at me with a smile.

I laugh. "Nothing, just curious."

He look at me with his curious eyes. He even make it small like I'm doing something.

I laugh again and come to him. "Really. Nothing. I'm just curious." I kiss his cheeks and make his head back on his laptop.

"Continue your doing."

He didn't answer and focus on it again. I stay beside him with my head on his shoulder as I watch Daneyel playing.

When I saw him yawning, I grab the chance to get him and made him sleep.

"I'll just put him in bed. I'll follow." I said to Ashton since he's done with his work too.
