Chapter 8

That was the last time we sleep together in peaceful. Ashton sometimes going home drunk, late or mad. I don't know what's happening between us but everything has changed.

I still can't tell this with my parents because I know that will react and trouble will come. My friends are still busy so I asked Danica if she's free and she said yes.

We decided to met on a coffee shop. When I enter the coffee shop she's already there. Looking fresh with her tube floral dress.

"Am I late?" She shook her head.

"I'm just early. My boyfriend just left after breakfast."

I sat down in front of her. "You should come early so that you guys met." She added. "I'm sorry, I drop Daneyel at my parents house before I come here."

She smile. "Oh it's okay."

Daneyel will be staying at my parents house since they are gone for a week, they miss Daneyel so much.

"Let's order?" I said and she called a waiter.

It didn't last that long. I don't open anything to her I just want someone to talk to.

"I need to go now." I said as our conversation ends. "Sure. I'll go too."

Be part ways at the parking. I go straight at home and Ashton is still not home. I called him but the line is busy so I did my usual routine.

I leave a text message to him.

To: Ashton

I'll be waiting for you for dinner. I cook your favorite food. I love you.

He did not reply so I guess he's busy. I wear one of my sexy dress that somehow show my breast.

I check the time and he should be here by now. This is his usual off so I decided to call Nikko.

"Good afternoon, Mam."

"Hi. I just want to ask what time Ashton's off?"

I can hear people calling him. "I'm sorry did I disturb you?"

Nikko chuckled. "No, Mam but Sir already gone, Mam. He leave around three in the afternoon." I look at the time again and it's been an hour he should be here.

"Okay. Thank you."

I end the call and try to call his number again but it's cannot be reach.

I waited for few more minutes until it turns to hour. Dinner time already pass so I start eating alone.

As I slowly eat, I didn't notice that I was crying. I didn't finish my food nor clean the table I go straight to bed.

I was crying the whole night before I sleep. I wake up with someone touching my face. It was Ashton.

"Hey," He said. I move my face to remove his hand on it. I can smell alcohol on him.

"I saw your message but it's already too late. As soon as I saw it I come home." I did not move or say anything. I let him.

He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I was with Ezekiel and Charles we drink a little bit."  I nodded.

"Baby I'm really really sorry. I saw the table. You want us to eat?"

I shook my head. "I'm already sleepy. You eat if you want. I want to rest now." Then I close my eyes.

Ashton did not move for a while then I felt his kisses to my forehead. "Okay. Good night."

I don't know what he do next because I fall asleep. I don't want to talk to him right now.

The next day, I am with Kaye and Laila. "It's been a while. Where's Daneyel?" Laila said as soon as I arrive the coffee shop.

"He's with my parents."

"Shall we order? I'm hungry before we roam around." I nodded.

I am planning to tell them my problem with Ashton. "Is Charles and Ezekiel with Ashton last night?" I started.

They nodded. "Ezekiel called me and yes." I nodded too then slowly eat. Okay, I'm fine knowing that he's with them.

I enjoy the rest of the day with my friends and when I get home I am with Daneyel already. I was shock that Ashton is home cooking dinner.

This is the first time again he cook for me. "You're early." I said.

"I want to cook dinner for us." I look at what he is cooking and it was a pesto and chicken.

I don't know what to say so I am just watching him and completely speechless. "Why are you not talking?" He said that makes me blink twice.

"I am shock. You're cold to me."

He shook his head. "No, I'm not. I'm just busy with work." I nodded then he come to me to kiss my cheeks.

"I love you." I can't help but smile.

It been so long since he said that to me. "I love you too so much." Then he gave me a passionate kiss.

"Let's eat dinner." It is one of my favorite night. We cuddle until we fall asleep. We never did this since he got 'busy'.

I woke up in the middle of the night. Hearing Ashton talking and he's walking towards the door.

"Stop it! Don't hurt yourself. I am on my way now." That's what I heard before the door eats Ashton.

What does he mean my that? I stand up to change my clothes. I am going down the stairs so quiet when I heard his car go.

"Yaya Ning. I need to go, check on Daneyel." I wake up Yaya Ning before I go.

It was so hard to follow him since he leave first before me. Also, he is driving so fast so I am trying to keep up.

We enter another village and the guard didn't stop him. "Mam, what house?" He ask.

"I am with that guy. I don't know the address." He nodded. I am trying to make this fast so I did everything he asked.

I gave him my id so that I can pass.

Thankfully I saw his car on a house near the gate and he's not there anymore. I park my car behind his and enter the house since he left it open.

I can hear voices. I follow that voice even though my heart is beating so fast. My hands are ice cold and I am not thinking straight anymore.

It lead me to a bathroom upstairs and there I saw him facing his back on me and he's talking to a girl. There are few blood on the floor.

"I can't do this anymore. I can't hurt my wife. I love her so much, Danica."

"Danica?" I murmured.

I come closer and what I heard is right. It is Danica!

"Is he your boyfriend?" I said.

I saw shock on Ashton's face same as Danica. "Zea?" She said to me like she's shock too. As if she didn't know everything!
