Penelope

"Out of my way buster"I snap at Tricia as she spread herself over the couch in boredom, "geez, what crawled up your ass last night?" Tricia asks then laughed at her own question, gosh, she's so rude, "I hope it laid eggs up there"Jake muttered stuffing popcorn in his mouth, I huff then hit the bowl causing everything to spill out on him and the couch, "I don't like cockroaches so clean it up"I say glancing at him, "game on Penny, game on"Jake says glaring at me, "chop chop, hop to it"I say motioning to the mess, he got up and left for the broom I hope while Tricia was beaming, "he's gorgeous isn't he?" Tricia asks fan girling.

"No, I'm not playing this game with you"I say and she laughed, "what game?" "the one where you try to set me up with him after I agree that he's not that ugly" "so you do think he's hot, I knew it, it's in the eyes" "Tricia?!", she kept on laughing while I shake my head, "I was hoping to have a relaxing summer, but no, I get to be a maid"Jake mumbles getting the popcorn off the couch, I smirk, "don't worry Martha, I'll help you get that tuition"I say and he sighed, "you're so mean" "I know, I love it", he rolled his eyes walking out, "oh, and don't forget to call your husband, ask what time to pick up the kids!" I yell then laughed, "I don't like you!" Jake yelled back, "I don't care!", "you two are getting along just fine" "he's such a softy".

Lucas kept bugging me about spending the night with him, I really don't have time for his mind games, I'm tired and I need sleep, I was up signing papers all night and making business arrangements then I had to get up early, go for a run and be at rehearsal by nine, which was torture by the way, then I went by the cafe and to Nick, then we had a family dinner and now we're all just hanging around and chatting, I was so exhausted.

"Please, I'm begging you, leave me alone"I say pleadingly, "not a chance"he says smugly, I sighed allowing him to torment because I had no intention to argue with anyone tonight. "Penny, you okay?" Demi asks and I nod, "you sure hun, you look drained"Dad says, "I'm just tired that's all" "why don't you just go home and rest"Trixie suggests, "I live here"I say glancing at her, "yeah, but it's all cramped here, I'm sure you'll be more comfortable at your own place", is she serious?.

"My car is in the shop at the moment, so no, I shall grace you all with my presence"I say smiling at her, the tension was so thick but I just had to ask Joe to come get me before I snapped. "Miss Hilton, you have a visitor"Olivia says walking in, I look up and there's Jacob, he was dressed in a blue shirt and trousers, just shorts, this boy is insane, he wore Vans with his attire, his hat was on backwards making him look like a bad boy, "who's this?" Lucas asks, "Jake, what're you doing here?" I ask getting up.

"Joe said to come get you, so, let's go"he replied shrugging, he was completely ignoring my whole family, it was hilarious though, kinda relief, anyone who meets my family either faints or falls in love, Jake just kept his gaze on me, "um....yeah, I just have to get my bag"I say walking away, I go upstairs and grab my stuff, while leaving my room I bump into Madison, "oh, you got a new boyfriend"she pouts, I ignore her and walk away, "you're still a loser brace face"she calls, I slowed down then walked faster, she's never gonna stop being a bully.

When I reach downstairs my family was just looking at Jake as he stood there looking at them, "I'm ready, I'll see you guys tomorrow"I say, "you okay?" Skai asks hugging me, "I'm fine, I love you" "I love you too", Jake took my bag then turned to walk out, "bye guys". "You're the last person I expected to see tonight"I say to Jake, "trust me, you should grace the moment"he says flipping his imaginary hair, I burst out laughing and he smiles, "and don't take me for granted"he added like a diva, "oh my gosh, stop!" I say clutching my stomach, "okay okay, let's get you home before you pee in my car" "you jerk!", I was still laughing though, I guess he's not so bad.

"Penny!"

I smile sitting down and sipping my coffee, "what did you do?" Joe asks, Jake came down with an annoyed look, "oh no"Tricia says and I look up then laugh, "you shaved his eyebrows?" Joe asks laughing, I didn't completely shave them, I just did a little chop on the side, that stylish chop, he looks real hot by the way.

"Good morning Jacob"I say sipping from my cup innocently, "I told you not to touch my eyebrows!" Jake snapped, "oh hush, it was just one"I snort, "you're so.....ugh!" "bonus points for Penny!" I say triumphantly as he stomped away, I turn to two amused faces, "what?" I ask them, "what kinda game are you two playing?" Joe asks, "I think they're just playing childish games and earning points" Tricia responds, "what's the catch?" Joe asks, "dunno, it's just fun"I replied chuckling, "I see, I bet you two will fall in love by the time he leaves here"Joe says earning a scoff, "pft, no, he's not my type anyway"I say and the two nod teasingly.

Putting my boots on, I hear the doorbell ring, I didn't bother moving because Joe and Jake were in the living room, "can one of you jerks get the door?!" I yell when the doorbell kept ringing off, I hear the door open and bickering was heard before Jake wandered in, "your boyfriend's here"he says almost disgusted, "my who?" I ask confused just when Lucas walked in followed by Joe.

"You run a motel now?" Lucas asks kissing my cheek, he's in a good mood, "what're you doing here?" I ask dismissing his question, "I wanted to take you out for lunch"he says shrugging, "you should've called, I've got plans"I say checking my bag for my phone and purse, "I heard but don't worry about it, I'm just stealing you for an hour or two", I sighed, "where's my phone Jake?" I ask glaring at him, he smiles, "take a wild guess", I don't bother guessing, "Jacob, I'm not playing games with you, where's my phone?".

He walked to the refrigerator and opened the freezer, I gasp as he took out my phone inside a Ziploc bag, he hands it to me and I gape at it then at him, "score two for Jake"he nods, "you little runt, this is going to slow down my apps"I say and he smiles, "precisely my point baby, don't play games you can't win" "oh, it's on Mortez, it's on", I got up and left with Lucas.

"Who exactly is that boy?" Lucas asks, he took me to some restaurant and finally spoke after twenty minutes, "he's just Joe's brother, why?" "you sure about that?" "I'm sure, what's the meaning of this conversation?" "I'm just asking, you two seem pretty close" "trust me, we're not", he eyed me as I look at my phone, I put in my passcode but it didn't open, "what the heck?" I ask trying again, you've gotta be kidding me, "what's wrong?" Lucas asks, "it's nothing", then I see a lockscreen message display, haha you can't get your passcode in?? awesome "that little sneaky piece of jerk" I whisper impressed, I was impressed, he hacked my phone and changed my code, I'm going to shave his head for this.
