Chapter 3

Penny

"Trix, hey"I grin at her, she hummed in response, "spill", I had to tell her everything, she's so dramatic sometimes. "Penny!" Drew, my little brother cheers when I walk into the room, he hopped from Dad's arms to me, I smile him, "hey little brother, how's it going?" "I ate a whole bunch of sweets", my eyes widened at his outburst and Mom's head turned towards Dad, who bit his lip then backed away, "you piece of-..." Mom starts but got cuff off by grandma Skylar, "language dear, there are babies here", Mom got up and Dad looked terrified, serves him right.

After the party, most of my family slept over while the rest left, Trix and I went clubbing but had to be back by one because she had to wake up early to be at the hotel where the wedding will be taking place. Apparently so will I, I am seriously gonna try to avoid Lucas as much as I can. I was in the limo with Demi and Trixie the whole ride, the two are so in love, geez, I don't know why I didn't just take my own car.

Unknown- hey

Penny- who's this?

Unknown- It's Joe

Penny- oh...hey!

Joe- how's it going?

Penny- super

Joe- would you like to hangout tonight?

Penny- sure

We finally arrived at the hotel and I had to announce it to the lovebirds, I'm so happy to see them both so in love, I knew it was bound to happen, the way thru used bite at each other and they went through alot of breakups to keep their relationship where it was.

"Places everyone!" the planner shouts and we stood up to our places, "where's the best man?!" she screeched, we look around and by we I meant Demi and Trixie, and the rest of the people, Trixie had a few other friends from college here, she still goes to school actually, she had two or three more years left, I'll be starting college in September, can't wait. "I'm here"a familiar voice says and the lady sighed in relief, geez, relax lady, "great"Trixie muttered and I look at her, "what's up?" I ask, "Luke brought Natasha"she says, I didn't bother to look because I didn't care who he brought.

Lucas came to stand next to me, so I'll be walking with him, just what I needed. "Hello"Lucas says politely, "nope"I say as the music starts and we start to walk, "I'm the one who's supposed to be upset, you pushed me into the pool" "you called me hardheaded" "aren't you?", I count to ten in my head while walking, "oh come on Penny, you can't ignore me"he says again making me glare at him, "leave me alone Lucas, let's just get this day over with", he chuckles as we continue the day.

"I can't believe he's still bothering you"Trixie says sighing, we were in the bathroom chatting, we had to get back to practice in five minutes, it was killing me, Lucas was so annoying, he made me want to punch every living daylight out of him. "I'm just trying to get the day over with"I say honestly, "I know Penny, just until Summer" "you've always wanted a summer wedding, now you're getting it, I'm so happy for you" "I want you to get married also, I want god kids", I smile at her but scoffed, "no way, no man is worthy enough to have me"I say and she rolled her eyes, "keep saying that and you'll meet a man who will change that cold heart of yours" "he doesn't exist".

Trix laughed then walked out, I sighed looking at my reflection, my red hair was fighting the dye, I'm gonna have to buy a dye on my way home. A stall door opened and I look up, Lucas freaking Walcott!, "what are you-.....nope, nevermind"I say zipping my lips and my intention to leave failed when he grabbed my arm and pulled me to him, "let go of me or I will scream" "you don't have the guts"he says smirking, I shove him but he came right back and kissed me, I tried so hard to push him away but he was relentless, I gave in against my will, his lips were amazing, that's all I could say.

We move apart and I shove him, "don't you ever try that again"I say then walk out, my lips were tingling from the feeling, I walk straight to Trixie who was chatting with a red head, "Trix, I'm gonna go"I say touching her shoulder, "we're almost finished"she says laughing, I was confused but then figured out she was having an interesting conversation. Lucas stood next to the red head with a smile, he picked her lips and my lips parted, did he seriously just almost make out with me and then kissed her, let alone she's a red head!.

"Penny, you have to meet Natasha"Trixie says chuckling, "nice to meet you"I say glancing at her, "oh...um...you too"she says softly, "Penny"Trixie says disappointed, "you'll have to excuse her babe, she's not very nice with people"Lucas says making my blood boil, "you would know"I say rolling my eyes, so they're together. "Natasha this is Penelope Hilton, my best friend"Trixie says wrapping an arm around my waist, "Penny, this is Natasha Ronan, Luke's fiance", that's when I lost it, "so, you like red heads?" I ask him, he looked at me carefully but didn't reply.

"How'd you two meet?" I ask but he still didn't reply, "we met in college, he was so hung over some girl that he barely even noticed me walking and bumped into me, after that we got to know each other and he got over that girl, I think her name was Penny also, a red head.... if I had the chance to meet her I'd give her a piece of my mind for leaving this handsome fellow", "aww, that's so sweet"I say through a tight smile, "Sparks, you good?" Demi asks walking to me, "perfect"I say then I stomp on Lucas's foot, "ow!", I then turn to look at Natasha, "you're a really lucky girl", I was gonna say I'm Penny but I didn't bother, I stomped on his foot again and then left hearing Demi laugh, that jerk.

I can't believe he slept with me, kissed me and then he's engaged, like....like come on!, I can't believe he's still a piece of crap from years ago, he cheated on her and then had the nerve to do that, this made me hate him even more.

"Dad, are you in here?" I ask knocking on his office door, "yeah, come on in"he says and I walk in, he was on his laptop typing away, he looked focused, almost like he'd break the laptop also. "What's up babe?" Dad asks looking up at me, "um....I'm going out tonight with my friend tonight, can I borrow your car?" I ask earning a look, "why my car?" "are you kidding?", he chuckles, "okay babe, I heard about Luke", I huff, "I don't wanna talk about him" "I'm sure, look Penny, a lot has changed since you've been away" "yeah, tell me about it" "but I'm here for you, no matter what", I hug him with a smile before he hands me the keys to his new Rolls Royce, "thank you, bye, love you!" "love you too", I grin shaking the keys then walk to my room to get ready to go meet Joe.

I was walking down the staircase when I heard the doorbell ring, "I got it!" Trixie yelled opening the door, "hey bestie!" a female voice exclaimed and they both laugh, I was confused but continued to walk until I reached down. A brunette walked in and they started bickering and giggling, "mind sharing?" I ask catching both attentions, "oh, I thought you left"Trixie says looking at me, "no, I didn't, who's this?", before she could answer, Demi walked in, "Madison"he says nodding, what?. My eyes scanned the scene before me, she looked pretty as usual and she was holding onto Trixie like I would, "it's so good to see you Penny"Madison says smiling, "I'm sure, I gotta go"I say walking to the door, "Penny, I can explain" "no need, I was away and you needed someone by your side, it's fine", I got in the car and blew out a breath, my best friend was best friends with the girl who made my life a living hell, wow, anything else Life?!.
