Selene's POV

"Felix took your classmates home first.." I heard Niko say while driving his car.

His car was just outside the alley earlier and then he just ran inside the alley to see me.

"Are you okay?"

When my brother said that, I quickly inhaled and clenched my fists to stop the tears that were about to fall.

I looked out the car window.

"Brother Niko... I'm afraid of what's happening now." just listened quietly, "I feel that all the people around us are angry with vampires like us."

Even though we are innocent...

"We can't avoid it. Humans see us as a monster."

"Monster.." I laughed bitterly because of what he said.

We're not a monster, we are just a mythical creature that exists in this world.

"Selene."

"Hmm?"

"Don't worry, everything's going to be alright. Trust me." I quickly smiled when Niko said that.

"I know."

In this world, there are 8 vampire clans who are in a highest rank.

Yamamoto's clan and Laurent's clan are one of those.

The 8 vampires clan ranks second only to the elders.

That's why we have permission to do what we want when it comes to normal vampires.

When we arrived at the house, Vera immediately appeared to us waiting in front of the door.

When she saw me with a lot of blood on my body, the color of her eyes quickly changed.

"They already crossed the line, Brother. How dare they lay a hand on Selene?" There was anger in Vera's tone when we entered the house.

"Calm down, Vera. I killed that vampire." Wrinkled when I said it.

"No, it's NOT okay." There was something in her tone of voice.

she sighed, "I just let them go because I know elders will gonna fix this." Vera said problematically.

I just let it go and went to the kitchen to drink some juice.

I can't buy snacks anymore.

"Tomorrow, I will go to the elders to report this." Niko quickly stunned me when he said that.

I immediately put down the glass I was holding and hurriedly walked towards the two of them.

"Maybe you won't tell about my issue, right?" I will be specific about drinking blood.

He nodded, "Of course not, I don't want you to get involved with the elders." Niko said cause I can breathe easy.

Selene's POV

I said goodbye to Niko first that I will go to my room to take a shower and change my clothes.

When I finished what I was doing, I sat in my study chair and rested there.

I also fumbled for my cellphone that I had put on my study table for a while.

When I got my cellphone, I immediately opened it and opened social media.

The issues about vampires came to my mind first.

I lost my appetite.

"Only when Big Brother and Sister see you. They're going to be really angry with you vampires." I snorted at my mobile phone and continued scrolling again.

While scrolling through social media. Suddenly, Haruki's chat head appeared at me.

Haruki: moshi moshi, bff~

I sighed, he's always like this when he chats with me.

Selene: what's up?

Haruki: Brother Felix texted me, he said he wanted me to chat with you

I frowned when I read Haruki's chin.

Did Felix tell Haruki what happened to me earlier?

I thought about that for a while before sighing.

Come what may.

Selene: bff, have you ever encountered a vampire that killed someone?"

Haruki:

Seeing Haruki's chat made me even more irritated.

Selene: let's get ready! I'm serious here!

Haruki: nothing yet. besides, it's Yamamoto's residence, so why would they reprimand the elders' rules? do they want to die? haha!

I just stared at Haruki's chat for a while. He is right.

The vampires living in Yamamoto's clan's area cannot disobey the rules.

Because when they find out that the vampires broke the rules, they might kill them.

Of the eight clans we have, only Yamamoto's clan is the most terrifying clan.

Selene: but isn't there news spreading there about vampires?

Haruki: yes, there is. but that is done the way of adults.

He will specify the elders. I just liked Haruki's chat with me before turning off the cellphone.

I sighed and looked at the ceiling of my room. I also turned my chair around causing me to feel slightly dizzy.

I'm sure that when the elders in our area take action, I will surely face them—

I stopped spinning my chair when I suddenly remembered something.

"Sh*t." I'm rude.

By the way, I can still face them. That means, they can notice that there is a problem with my body.

That might ruin our clan.

I bit my finger nail.

I'm nervous. I can't just chill here. I need to find a blood that suits me.

The next day, I slept late but still woke up early.

I'm not going to die staying up now.

I just took a shower and put on my uniform. I also arranged the things I would take before leaving the room and going to the kitchen.

"Good morning." Felix greeted me with a cup of coffee in his hand.

"Good morning!" I yawned.

I sat next to Vera who was currently busy reading a book.

"Where's Niko?" I will ask.

"he said, he was going to attend a meeting today so he left early." Vera said while still focusing on reading the book.

I'm sure he's meeting with the elders now. I swallowed saliva.

I really need to get serious about looking for blood.
