Selene's POV

"It's you again." He frowned when I said it and stood up properly.

He smiled at me. "Do you still remember my name?" he asked.

"Yeah, it's Dominic, right?"

"Yes, you're right, Selene."

Holy shit! He knows my name!

I stared at him with wide eyes.

"How did you know my name? I didn't even introduce myself to you." I said I was confused.

What if this guy is already stalking me? I just don't know. Then what if he knows I'm a vampire?

What should I do?

"Ahm. That's what I heard when your big brother called you."

My mouth opened slightly before I nodded.

"I-I see.."  I was overthinking too much, really.

"By the way, are you feeling bad again? You just sat here all of a sudden." He said it with a mixture of concern and

"Do you want us to go to school together? It looks like we are schoolmates." He will specify the uniform we are wearing.

I was still holding my chest because of the nervousness. For the first time, I was rude to someone!

When I got to school, I immediately looked for the faculty room to write my excuse letter.

After I said that, I went straight to my classroom.

"Room 301."  I recited the room number on the top of the classroom door.

That means this is my classroom.

I quickly fixed my bag before finally entering the classroom.

As soon as I entered the classroom, I immediately saw Dominic sitting at the end.

"damn it." I exclaimed, causing my new classmates to look at me and be quiet.

Selene's POV

They only looked at me for five seconds, until suddenly someone called my name.

"Oh my gosh, BFF Selene?!"

I quickly turned my attention to the person who called me. I was even more surprised to see who it was.

"Bff..!" I whispered.

Oh my gosh! We are in the same class!

That person quickly approached me and was about to hug me when I avoided her.

My classmates immediately started laughing.

"What the h*ck? Haruki, is suddenly hugging a girl your hobby? Haha!"

"ouch! The woman was rejected."

"That's okay; there are other girls there."

Haruki laughed at them before scratching his head.

"Guys, she's just my best friend, Selene," she laughed as she introduced me.

"Yeah, besides, she's not dating me. We're just friends." I seriously explained it to her friends.

It's only the second day of school, but Haruki makes friends right away.

You are really different because you're an extrovert.

"By the way, Selene. I didn't know we were in the same class." He said.

He's Haruki Yamamoto, the heir of Yamamoto's clan. Just like me, he's a vampire too.

I was 4 years old when I first met him. There was a company celebration at that time.

Selene's POV

I slumped my shoulders and looked at the seat just opposite Dominic. That means there is still a chance that I can't avoid him.

"You should avoid him."

Ugh!  My mind is coming back to what my sister said!

I sighed before approaching that seat and quickly sat down without giving Dominic a look.

"Hi, Selene."  I heard Dominic greet me.

"We're in the same class. We should have entered together earlier," he added.

"Okay, class, go back to your seat. I'm about to start class." The teacher said

Some time passed, and our class was finally over. That means it's our break time now.

In this school, we have break time twice, and then we have a lunch break.

I arranged my things and was about to take out my cell phone when suddenly someone came up behind me.

I was surprised for a moment because of that and quickly looked back.

"What the he—"

"You fell."  Dominic smiled at me while holding my ballpoint pen.

Ha. Annoying.

I quickly grabbed it and said, "Thank you." I answered frugally and adjusted my seat again.

How can I avoid a person like him who is so kind? Tell me, Sister Vera. How can I avoid this man?

I frowned and looked around until I saw Haruki, who was busy talking.

Suddenly, an idea came to my mind.

"Right, that's it." I whispered.

"Selene—"

"H-Haruki!"  I immediately cut off what Dominic was going to say and quickly stood up to approach Haruki.

"Oh, why?" He suddenly asked.

"Come on, join me in the cafeteria. I don't have anyone with me right now." I said, "Smile.

"But—!"

I secretly pinched his side while smiling at him.

"If you don't come, I'll make your life hell." I said it threateningly in his mind.

His eyes immediately widened before he shook his head at me pleadingly.

"Alright, come on. I'll go with you, bff. ha ha." He scared me.
