Selene's POV

"It's not working." Vera sighed at the same time.

Felix came to me and rubbed my back.

I just finished throwing up all the blood, so here I am now, very hungry.

"I told you, I can't drink blood." I said this while my mouth was still full.

Good thing Felix and I bought food.

"Brother Niko, What are we going to do? Selene can't just be like this." I heard Felix say

I just shook my head as I continued to swallow.

I don't really understand them. They are really forcing me to do something I don't want to do.

"I'll think of another way." Niko said that's why I stopped.

"Come on! Just give up; nothing will happen. I'll just get more tired." I complained to them and swallowed again.

They just couldn't let me be like this. I have nothing to lose, either.

"Selene, do you know what happens to vampires who reject blood?" I stopped swallowing when I heard Felix's question.

"What?"

"They became monsters."

My mouth dropped open, and I stared at Felix in disbelief.

What the hell?

"Pfft!" I covered my mouth and tried to hold back my own laughter. "I'm sorry, I was just laughing."

Felix added to my stomach ache, hahaha!

"Alright, just laugh." "When you become a monster, don't blame us."

"Okay!" I laughed and said to Felix:

I know that Felix is too involved in the movies he watches.

The next day, I woke up early to get ready for school.

Yesterday I couldn't go in because of what happened to me, so I have to recover today.

"Are you leaving again without breakfast?" Niko asked me an open question.

"Who said that? Of course not! Why would I refuse the grace?" I kissed him before going to the kitchen to have breakfast.

I caught up with Felix and Vera, who were quietly eating. When I sat next to Vera, they only noticed me then.

"Good morning."  They both greeted me.

"Good morning!"  I greeted her with a smile.

"Selene."  Vera called me to make me turn to her.

"Yes?"

"I've already finished reading your book. Do you still have erotica novels that I haven't read yet?" Just as Vera asked me that, Felix and I choked at the same time.

What the f*ck, Sister?! Why are you shamelessly asking that in front of us?

That's why the erotica novels on my bookshelf are missing; that's what she borrowed!

Selene's POV

"Did you read erotica novels?" Felix asked in shock.

"Yes, why? Is there any problem with it?" Sister Vera asked seriously.

"But Vera." I called her nervously.

"I didn't know you were reading erotica."

The three of us turned to Niko together. He adjusts his necktie.

That's right. Goodbye, erotic novels!

Niko will surely confess to me.

"Vera because.." I will blame Vera.

Suddenly, she raised an eyebrow at me, causing me to look away.

"Selene." I looked up atNiko when he called my name.

"How old are you?"

"I'm 17 but turning 18 this year... Why? Are you going to confiscate my books?" I asked her like I was crying.

Niko was silent for a moment and looked at me seriously. I feel like I will melt into his eyes.

But the trick is still there! Ate Vera can get away with it because she is of legal age, while I... haha, nevermind.

"I will."  This answer caused my shoulders to fall.

"I can read your mind, Selene." I gasped when I heard what Niko said.

"There is no rag in my mind! "Can you pleasemind your own business?" I sneered at him.

I feel like I'm becoming a child again.

"What about this? You don't confide in Selene's erotic novels when she finds blood that suits her taste." Vera's groin suddenly

"Yeah, Vera is right." Felix also agreed.

You two are my saviors!

My eyes seemed to shine when I watched the two talking to Niko.

Well, I know why Vera is doing it.

That's really for erotica novels, not for me.

I had just returned to the hut when I heard Niko sigh.

"Okay, let's give it a try." When Niko agreed with the two of them.

I want to scream for joy. No erotica novels can be confiscated, haha.

"But I will just give you 2 months to find your own blood to drink. If you still don't find any, I will confiscate every novel that you have."

The smile on my face disappeared when Niko said that.

That seems to be even worse!

I saw that Felix laughed whileVera pretended not to know what happened.

After we had breakfast, I went to school first.

Just like yesterday, I just walked.

While walking, my mind was only focused on what Niko said earlier.

"If I can't find anything, he'll confiscate all my books." I whispered before collapsing and sitting on the road.

"again."  I felt like I was bending down and looking at the ground.

I was like that for a few seconds until I noticed two pairs of shoes in front of me.

My frown quickly disappeared and was replaced by surprise.

"Are you okay?" A familiar voice asked

"Who...?" I looked up at that person, and my eyes gradually widened when I saw who it was.
