Chapter 7

Kaizer's POV:

Because it's Friday, I'm too busy so I left home early and didn't say goodbye to Selene. Because he was asleep when I entered his room. I didn't want to disturb him just because I was leaving so I just let him sleep and I just left a letter on his table.

When I arrived at the office I did what I had to do because later I will be helping Direck for the preparation of Selene and I's Civil Wedding on Thursday tomorrow.

Of course, you know that it's a secret wedding and only those I trust can go to the wedding tomorrow because I don't want trouble, even my family doesn't want to go because they already know that the old hukluban has arranged my marriage to Bernadeth. So I don't want to mess up my marriage tomorrow.

While I was doing paperwork for another client, I saw Direck calling so I answered it.

"Oh bro why?" I said immediately.

"Bro, aren't we going to prepare for your and Selene's wedding tomorrow?"

"Yes, do you have anything else to say?" The person on the other line said yes, so I left my cellphone still on call.

"That's because bro, my GF is good at preparations like that so she should be there later." I was surprised when I found out that he has a GF. A girl Direck has a GF right? So I laughed in my mind.

"O cge bro as long as you can trust him."

Yes, bro, maybe he and Selene will be close." as he said laughing.

"Oh, I'm going to end my call. I'll just finish what I'm doing. I'll see you later."

I didn't speak anymore and ended my call to speed up what I was doing.

Selene's POV:

I woke up at about 10am. I told myself that I would wake up early. I hurried to CR and do my morning ritual first.

When I was going to my table, I saw a letter.

Good morning Selene, I left early maybe you are looking for me. And be ready tomorrow, it's our civil wedding in Huwes, I'll pick you up later at the house because you'll be measuring your dress for tomorrow.

Kaiser:

I was nervous because of Kaizer's letter, to be honest I'm not ready to be a wife. I don't know why? But there's nothing I can do because it's already there so I can just accept it.

I just went back to lying down and closed my eyes first. But someone knocked and I told them that he had come in.

Ma'am, go outside because your food has been served." Carol said immediately.

Cge Manang I'll be next."

Ma'am, Sir Kaizer is also telling you to get ready because he will be here later and you two might leave." he said immediately and I nodded.

I left the room and went to Dining and ate.

While I was eating, someone texted me that..

"Are you Selene?" said the texter but I don't know him.

"It's me, why?" I said immediately.

"Nothing, I'll see you soon." That was his text to me, so I was surprised.

I just put the text out of my mind and focused on my food.

After I ate I sat in the living room and watched TV.

While I was watching someone called my unknown number so I answered it.

"Selene, Kaizer will pick you up later, so get ready." it immediately said.

"Cge, but how did you get my number?" I immediately asked Kaizer.

"I opened your phone. It doesn't have a lock like that."

"Ahh... Ok I'll get ready but are you coming here?

"I'm just on my way, but I'll pass Direck first because he and his GF are said to be coming."

"Ahh cge, I'll fix it too. Bye." I immediately stood up after Kaizer and I talked and I saved his number.

While I'm taking a bath, I sing of course because that's my routine.

After I showered, I went to my walk in closet and chose a dress to wear but it was just a dress and no pants or leggings so I had no choice and I just put on the dress I chose and put a little powder and lip gloss so that I can look a little better.

I'm done and I'm just waiting for Kaizer to call to see if they're here yet. So I just planned to listen to music.

I was about to sing when a hand rested on my back so I got nervous and took my earphones from my ears. And I looked who it was.

I was surprised that Kaizer was behind me.

"Nice voice Selene." she said while smiling.

"Ahh..ehh...were you still there behind me?" he nodded.

"Yes, when you were just starting your song, I didn't want to disturb you just in case we are in a hurry now because there will be traffic later." he said to me so I was embarrassed because he heard my voice.

"Oh by the way, Direck's GF is also there and they will sleep here later."

"Ahh..I'm coming Kaizer."

"I'll go to the room first to get dressed." I just nodded and left the room to go downstairs.

When I got down I did see a woman but I was taller than her a little sexy, she was beautiful and rich and I wasn't. Is it really alive?

When Direck noticed my presence, the woman also turned to me and smiled. The woman ran towards me but Direck was calling her to slow down and she might slip.

Hi, I'm Karen Villanueva, I'm the girlfriend of that snake." He pointed to Direck and he extended his hand to me.

Hello, I'm Selene Dela Cruz." and I also extended my hand to her.

"Are we friends now? I like you to be my friends and you're so beauiful even though you're simple." he immediately said to me and hugged me.

Don't be shy with me, huh? Because we are now friends hahahaha then I can go shopping with you because you are here. Right, Direck." Direck nodded while scratching the back of his neck. I think Direct is under Karen so that's why he just obeyed.

After a few minutes, Kaizer also came down and we left.
