Chapter 2: Cheating.

Eisley's brow furrowed on seeing the contents of the message. Arthur was laying close to a girl she knew very much. Her janitor!! They were both naked. The orange coloured blanket was tossed to a corner along with their clothing. Eisley didn't know whether to be furious or ignore it.

“I guess… I'm used to it already…” she said to herself with a sigh as she dropped her phone back on her desk while leaning against the swivel chair. Lorraine who was supervising the new waiters stepped into the office. The image on Eisley's phone made her frown.

“What is that??“ She asked as she tried to reach for the phone but Eisley beat her to it. “It had better be not what I'm thinking…” she drawled.

“It's none of your business.“ Eisley said as she turned off the phone and tossed it in the drawer.

“Oho! It's my business! It's my fucking business!“ Lorraine yelled as she angrily grabbed a chair and sat on it. “I just saw a picture of your freaking boyfriend! With our slutty janitor!! In your fucking room! And you're telling me it's not my business?! No Eisley! I've had enough of this! If you're not tired, I am!“

Eisley rubbed her forehead as she tried to steady herself “you're tired, Goodluck being tired.“ She remarked nonchalantly making Lorraine glare at her.

“That's it! I'm going to confront him!“ She yelled while standing up from the chair. She took off her manager tag and stormed out. However, before she could move two feet towards the door, a dagger flew past her ear thereby cutting a few strands of her hair.

“You… whatever… I'll get extensions. I'm going to confront him whether you like it or not.“ Lorraine said with a hint of finality in her voice.

Eisley who was seated on the chair motionlessly after throwing the dagger suddenly spoke up. “W..wait.“

“What?!“

“Let's go together.“

“Oh now you're ready to confront him?“ Lorraine scoffed before heading out “I'm with the car key. Meet me in the car.“ Having said her piece, she turned to leave.

Eisley sucked in a deep breath before leaving the catering house in the care of the staffs.

The siblings drove home in silence. Each of them had their own thoughts going on in their heads. After a long moment of silence, Lorraine finally spoke up “you better pray I don't meet him there!“ She said through gritted teeth before swerving down a street.

They stopped right in front of the semi luxurious bungalow. Nervously, Eisley trotted behind her big sister who stomped angrily to the house. The duo headed straight for Eisley's bedroom. On getting there, they stood still as their jaws dropped to the floor. Their eyes widened as the atmosphere suddenly became stale. Eisley's secret passage which was behind her wardrobe was flung open.

The two girls exchanged puzzled looks before dashing for the secret passage. They passed through series of security checkpoints before getting to her main hideout which was underground. A largely furnished space with different computers, chairs and weapons was revealed. Its dim light made the space look serene.

“Where do you think he is?“ Lorraine whispered.

“I…I don't know…” Eisley replied “how was he able to get my pass codes?!“ She questioned herself internally as she headed for her computer which was turned on and loading.

The sound of metal clanking against each other echoed from a room which housed her knives and daggers. Slowly, she walked in while trying trying hide the anxiousness on her face. There, she saw Arthur drumming with her customised dagger which made her furious.

“Hey!! You don't just go about touching people's stuff!“

She yelled as she stormed to him furiously. Her sudden shout made him shake in shock causing the daggers to drop to the floor with a loud clank. She eyed the dagger before locking her furious gaze on him which soon turned solemn.

“I…I can explain…” she started off but was cut off by his amused face “you didn't tell me you collected these stuffs for your amusement! How rude!“ He accused.

Lorraine and Eisley exchanged looks “@-@||”

“What? When were you going to tell me that you were a double stunt in a movie?“ Arthur's voice brought them back to reality.

“Ugh?“ Eisley was confused but soon played along under Lorraine's wink. “Ughh… I didn't feel the need to tell you… well… cause… it's … err… it's not really paying. Well, the err… collecting stuff… it's just something I do in my free time when I'm not mixing flour and eggs and butter…” she stuttered with a nervous chuckle as she bent to pick her dagger from the floor which had a slight scratch on it.

The urge to beat him up for touching her favourite dagger was strong but due to the situation at hand and her so called love for him, she controlled herself.

“Oh… well, let's go celebrate your second job now shall we?“ Arthur asked as he walked briskly out of the secret base.

“You don't need me to talk to you about changing your passcodes right?“ Lorraine asked with a raised brow before heading out leaving Eisley behind.

She exhaled as she watched her sister's retreating back. Without wasting much time, she operated her wrist watch briefly as she walked to her computer to check for any missing details.

Moments later, she walked back to her room with the thought of how to move her secret base. However, her thoughts was interrupted by the loud voice of her sister who was yelling at Arthur.

“…you keep cheating on my sister and you keep getting away with it!!! How dare you!??“

“Lorra… can you be reasonable?“ Arthur asked as he massaged his temple.

Lorraine glared at him “it's Lorraine not Lorra! I don't know how you managed to blind my sister but you can't blind me! I'll make sure she breaks up with your cheating daddy's boy ass!“

On hearing her referring to him as “daddy's boy” he narrowed his gaze at her and approached her with the intention of hitting her but stopped when he heard Eisley's voice behind him.

“Lorraine! That's enough!“

Arthur bent to Lorraine's ear height and whispered “no matter what I do, your sister will love me… let that sink deep down in your head…”

Turning to face Eisley who pinched her nose bridge, he scoffed “your sister thinks I'm cheating on you… well, she just ruined my mood for celebrating.“ He said as he picked up his bag before exiting the building.

“You see what you've caused!??“ Eisley yelled at her sister through gritted teeth making her scoff.

“What did I cause!? Your so called boyfriend cheated on you today… you saw it… you were unhappy about it… now that I'm confronting him right after he found his way to your secret base you're yelling at me for talking to him!? I can't believe you!“ Lorrained yelled in one breath before stomping all the way to her room and shutting the door loudly.

“He… he didn't mean to cheat…”
