Wugi ran as hard as he could, his breath short. His heart raced as he heard rapid steps behind him. Master Jimin Yu's subordinates didn't give him a chance to stop and breathe. In the middle of his escape, Wugi slipped on slippery rocks and fell hard to the ground.
"Ah!" Wugi winced, pain radiating through his legs. He tried to get up, but his knees felt weak. Hearing the sound of the pursuers getting closer, Wugi tried to push away the pain. With all his might, he got up and ran again, although his steps were shaky.
Wugi's eyes darted around, looking for a place to hide. He saw a narrow passage between two large, old trees. Without thinking, he rushed into the hallway and pressed his body against the dark wall. He held his breath, hoping his pursuers wouldn't see him.
The seconds passed slowly. Wugi could hear the footsteps of the pursuers getting closer, the sound of their labored breathing. He closed his eyes, praying silently that he would not be discovered. Suddenly, the sound of footsteps stopped right in front of the hallway where Wugi was hiding.
"He must be here," said one of Mr. Jimin Yu's subordinates in a low voice. They were standing just a few feet from where Wugi was hiding.
Wugi felt cold sweat running down his forehead. He held his breath, trying not to move at all. Her heartbeat sounded so loud in her ears, it was as if her pursuers could hear it.
“Look elsewhere. "He can't possibly go far," said another finally.
The steps started to move away. Wugi waited until their voices had completely disappeared before he dared to breathe a sigh of relief. Her body was still tense, but she knew this wasn't over. Carefully, he came out of hiding, making sure that the road was clear.
Wugi promised himself to be more careful in the future. The chase may not be over, but at least for now, he managed to survive. With calmer steps, he continued his journey, hoping to find a safer place to hide from the threat of Master Jimin Yu and his men.
After the chasing group left, Wugi got up with unsteady steps. Every step felt excruciating, but he knew he had to keep going. With strong determination, he continued his journey towards Sera, the hills where he lived. Time seemed to slow down, every second felt so long. The pain in his leg was getting worse, but he didn't stop.
Upon arrival, Wugi nearly fainted from exhaustion and pain. From a distance, Feng, his best friend, saw Wugi's figure staggering closer. Feng immediately ran over to him, followed by several of his other friends.
“Wugi! What happened?" Feng asked in a panicked voice, seeing the wounds and dirt stuck to Wugi's body.
"I'm... being chased..." Wugi answered breathlessly.
“Mr Jimin Yu's people...”
Feng immediately embraced Wugi, helping him to sit on a wooden bench in their yard. The other friends immediately gathered around, their faces filled with worry.
“We have to treat the wound,” Feng said firmly.
“Bring him inside.”
Carefully, they brought Wugi into the house. Feng took the first aid kit and started cleaning the wound on Wugi's leg. With deft hands, he bandaged the wound while occasionally glancing at Wugi's face, making sure his friend wasn't in pain.
“Calm down, Wugi. You're safe here,” Feng said in a soft but confident voice. "We will not let them hurt you again," Feng said.
Wugi could only nod weakly, his eyes starting to close from exhaustion. He felt relieved to be among his caring friends. Even though his body still ached, his heart calmed down a little. He knew, together with Feng and the other friends, they would find a way to deal with the threat from Mr. Jimin Yu.
After some time resting and having his wounds bandaged, Wugi started to feel a little better. With the support of his friends, he sat up straighter and began to tell what happened during their spy mission.
"We... we managed to infiltrate Goangnam village, Mr. Jimin Yu committed violence there," said Wugi in a hoarse voice.
"But when we were about to leave, Chen Hu fell. He was caught by the guards, I didn't have time to save him," he continued.
Feng's face turned pale.
"Chen Hu was arrested? This cannot be tolerated," he said in a firm tone. The other friends also looked shocked and worried when they heard the news.
"We have to free him," Feng said. Chen Hu must be being interrogated right now. We don't have much time," Feng said.
Feng stood up, inviting his friends to gather to plan a rescue action. They all exchanged glances, realizing how critical the situation was. They knew very well that rash actions could have fatal consequences, not only for Chen Hu, but also for all of them.
"We need a thorough plan," said Lao, one of their friends who is known to be smart and tactical.
"We have to know where they are holding Chen Hu and what his security conditions are."
"I heard one of the guards say that they took him to the basement on the east side of the base," Wugi added, recalling the details of his pursuit.
"Okay," Feng said. "We have to make the most of tonight. We need more information before we move. Lao, you and some of the others try to find out more about that place. Wugi, you rest first, but we might need your help again later."
While Lao and a few other friends went out to gather information, Feng and the rest started preparing equipment and devising rescue strategies. They drew a simple map of Master Jimin Yu's base based on Wugi's memories, marking places that might be guard points.
Not long after, Lao and his team returned with additional information.
"They are tightening their guard, but we have a chance if we move quickly and carefully," Lao reported.
"There is a secret passage that we can use to enter without being detected," he added.
Feng nodded. "Okay, here's the plan. We will enter through the secret passage and find a way to the basement. The team will be divided into two, one team will distract the guards, while the other team will rescue Chen Hu."
With strong enthusiasm and determination, they all prepared themselves. The night wore on, but the spirit of friendship and courage warmed their hearts. They knew this mission was full of risks, but in order to save Chen Hu, they were ready to face anything.
When the appointed time arrived, they moved carefully but quickly. In the dark of night, they sneak towards Mr. Jimin Yu's headquarters, determined to bring their friend home safely.
Feng led the way, they walked back into the forest down the hills towards Sowan village. Master Jimin Yu's base which they went to so they could save Chen Hu. However, when they arrived near Goangnam village, Feng and his friends were shocked to see Goangnam village which looked busy.
"What's going on there? Why does it look busy?" Feng looked confused.
"There seems to be something wrong, Feng," Lao said, his eyes staring intently at the village.
"I'm worried about the safety of the residents, we should go there first, check the situation there, and remember! Don't let them know, I'm sure Mr. Jimin Yu's men will be there because they have just harvested," said Feng.
"Okay, come on!"
Everyone agreed with Feng's words. Finally they continued their journey carefully trying to approach Goangnam village. But when they got there, their eyes all widened. Behind the hiding place, Feng and his friends saw Uncle Jao and Chen Hu being tied to a pole and surrounded by Master Jimin Yu's men. They carry out torture. Suddenly Feng and his friends were shocked.
"They really have devil hearts! We have to fight them!" Feng felt emotional.
