Once upon a time in Goangnam village, life was calm and peaceful. The population lives simply, relying on agriculture as the main source of income. However, their peace is disturbed when a cruel landlord named Jimin Yu arrives with evil intentions. Jimin Yu has the ambition to control all of the village's land, and without hesitation he forces the residents to hand over their land.
In the midst of this critical situation, a girl named Yen Liao, who is also a village healer, appears as the leader of the resistance. Yen Liao is known to be wise and noble-hearted, always ready to help anyone in need. He could not remain silent watching his village suffer from injustice.
Jimin Yu and his group began carrying out brutal actions, burning houses and attacking anyone who dared to resist. The unarmed villagers could only accept this cruelty. However, Yen Liao, with great courage and determination, rallied the population to fight back.
"We can't just give up," Yen Liao said passionately.
"This is our land, our home. We must defend it!"
Fierce resistance ensued. Yen Liao leads the villagers with clever strategy, using his medical knowledge to treat the injured and give everyone a fighting spirit. However, their strength was no match for Jimin Yu and his group who were fully armed.
In one brutal battle, Yen Liao was trapped and captured by Jimin Yu's men. Cruelly, they killed Yen Liao and dumped his body in the forbidden forest, a place believed by the villagers to be haunted and full of curses.
Losing Yen Liao was a huge blow to the villagers. They realized that they could no longer survive in the village which was now controlled by Jimin Yu. With broken hearts, they decided to flee to the highlands, a place that was safer from Jimin Yu's power, while some people had to be willing to live under the pressure of Master Jimin Yu.

That night the wind rustled gently in Sowan village, bringing silence that penetrated every corner of Mr. Jimin Yu's house. In the spacious and magnificent living room, Jimin Yu was chatting with several colleagues. They were discussing land matters and the approaching harvest. Laughter and jokes filled the room, dispelling the slight worry hanging in the air.
The oil lamps that decorated people's houses suddenly flickered. An unusually cold wind came in through the cracks in the window, making the flames twist and turn like a dance of death. Everyone in the village felt a strange presence, as if something was watching them from the darkness.
Suddenly, a small clanking sound was heard from the door. Slowly, the door opened itself, revealing a tall figure with glowing red eyes. Yen Liao stood there, his face pale with a hideous smile that revealed his sharp fangs. His thin body was wrapped in clothes from ancient times, with the smell of rotten earth filling the corner of Sowan village.
"This year's harvest looks like it will be very abundant. We have to make sure everything is ready," said Jimin Yu, then drank a cup of wine.
"That's right, sir. I'm sure with the plan we made, the results will be much better than last year," Chen replied
Sao rushed into the room, his face pale, "Sir, Master Jimin!"
"Sao? What's wrong? Why do you look so panicked?" Jimin Yu asked.
Sao: "Sir, some of the people in Sowan village are terrorized by vampires."
Chen chuckled and said, "Vampire? Sao, this is not a night for scary stories."
Jimin Yu frowned, "Explain, Sao. What really happened?"
"Not just any vampire, sir. This is about Yen Liao, a vampire who rose from his grave. Many residents saw him. They were scared to death," said Sao with a tense face.
Sao said in a trembling voice, "But, sir, they saw it with their own eyes. Yen Liao has risen again, perhaps for revenge."
"This is ridiculous. We have heard superstitious stories like this for too long. Yen Liao is dead, and perhaps his corpse was eaten by wild animals!" Jimin Yu emphasized.
Suddenly, the oil lamp flickered and a cold wind came in through the gap in the window.
"What happened? Why is it so cold suddenly?" Chen straightened his jacket.
A small clanking sound was heard from the direction of the door, and the door opened slowly, revealing the figure of Yen Liao with a scary form. His eyes were bloodshot sharp.
Sao fell to his knees, shaking "Forgive us, Yen Liao. We didn't know... please..."
Yen Liao laughed horribly and said, "Too late for regrets. I will seek revenge for the suffering I have endured."
The door opened and an old man in a long robe walked in. It was Uncle Wu, a person who was known to have high knowledge.
"Yen Liao, you will not touch them. I am here to deal with you." Wu raised his voice.
"You think you can beat me? You're just like the others, weak and helpless," said Yen Liao, then grinned.
Uncle Wu raised his hand, chanting an incantation in an ancient language. A bright light radiated from his palm, aiming at Yen Liao. However, Yen Liao just laughed and in a flash, disappeared from sight.
"He disappeares?" Chen shouted.
"Uncle Wu, what happened? Where did he go?" Jimin Yu asked.
Uncle Wu took a deep breath, then he said, "Yen Liao is stronger than I thought. This is not over yet. He will return."
"If even Uncle Wu can't beat him, what will happen to us?" said Jimin Yu in a frightened tone.
Uncle Wu firmly said, "We must be prepared. Only with courage and unity can we face it. Don't let fear control you."
That night, the atmosphere became increasingly tense. Jimin Yu, who was usually calm and brave, felt deep fear. They all knew that Yen Liao's threat still loomed over Sowan village, and the real resistance had just begun.
"What really happened? Why did he rise from the dead?" Jimin Yu didn't seem to believe what was happening.
"I'm sure he rose because his eyes weren't buried, and it was the light of the full moon that shone through them that made him rise," answered Uncle Wu.
"So, what does he want? Why does it seem like he wants to hurt me?" Jimin Yu looked scared.
"It seems he holds a grudge for her death, sir," answered Uncle Wu.
Jimin Yu, Chen and several people in the room were stunned to hear Uncle Wu's words. At that time, Jimin Yu asked Uncle Wu to ensure the safety of him and the people of Sowan village.
"Yes, sir. I will try to protect everyone with the strength I have," said Uncle Wu.
"Thank God," said Jimin Yu quietly.
After things started to calm down, Uncle Wu advised Jimin Yu to rest. Meanwhile, he invited Chen and several people to walk out of the room.
"Chen. Prepare the equipment for the ritual!" asked Uncle Wu.
"What are you going to do, Uncle?" asked Chen who still didn't understand.
"I will carry out a ritual to ward off evil spirits, including preventing Yen Liao from entering here," answered Uncle Wu.
Chen nodded his head as if he understood. It didn't take long for him and several of his friends to rush to immediately get the equipment that Uncle Wu asked for. Not long after everything was ready, Uncle Wu began the ritual. He was seen burning several sticks of incense and chanting an ancient mantra which made Chen and several of his friends look confused about what Uncle Wu was doing.
"What is he doing?" Sao asked quietly.
"I don't understand either, the language is strange," said Chen with his eyes continuing to stare at Uncle Wu.
Uncle Wu was seen making strange movements. At that time Chen was amazed to see him. However, before the ritual was finished, the figure of the vampire Yen Liao quickly lunged at Uncle Wu's body.
Bruak!!
"Aaaa..." shouted Chen and several other people.
They ran away because they were afraid, while Chen tried to help Uncle Wu.
"Chen... get some incense!" asked Uncle Wu, whose body was still lying in pain.
However, when Chen was about to take the incense, the vampire glared at Chen, making him tremble.
"Please don't kill me, please..." Chen pleaded.
Aarrgggh...
The vampire's voice sounded scary.
