Chapter 2

Chen was frightened and tried to run away, while Uncle Wu immediately realized the threat and prepared to face Yen Liao. However, when Yen Liao emerged from the darkness, with glowing red eyes and sharp fangs, Chen's courage collapsed. He ran scared leaving his teacher alone.

The fight began. Uncle Wu uses all the strength and knowledge he has, but Yen Liao is not an easy opponent. Every attack that Uncle Wu launched was successfully avoided by Yen Liao with fast and skillful movements. Yen Liao counterattacked with incredible speed, leaving Uncle Wu pressed and injured.

Meanwhile, in Sowan village, the sounds of fighting made the residents wake up and panic. They knew that Yen Liao had risen, and they had to act quickly. Several villagers, led by the village head, immediately gathered to protect Mr. Jimin Yu, an important figure who was sleeping soundly and unaware of the danger lurking.

With minimal tools, the villagers tried to fight and protect Mr. Jimin Yu's house. They lit torches, built barricades, and prepared to face the threat. Mr. Jimin Yu was finally awakened by the commotion and immediately joined the villagers in an effort to defend their village.

Meanwhile, Uncle Wu was getting more and more exhausted. Yen Liao saw a gap in Uncle Wu's defense and prepared to deliver a killing blow. However, before Yen Liao could attack, the villagers, who knew Uncle Wu's courage and the importance of protecting the village, came to help with weapons and torches.

Seeing the villagers coming with enthusiasm and determination to fight, Uncle Wu regained his spirits. With a loud shout, he mustered all his strength and launched a final attack that managed to hit Yen Liao and disappeared and fled into the darkness of the night.

Sowan Village returned to calm, although with some injuries and fatigue. Uncle Wu thanks the villagers for their help, and a guilty Chen promises to never leave Uncle Wu again. They all knew that Yen Liao's threat was not over, but they also knew that with unity and courage, they could face whatever came in the future.

In Sowan village which returned to calm after a fierce battle, Mr. Jimin Yu woke up short of breath. The roar of the battle between Uncle Wu and Vampire Yen Liao woke him from his deep sleep. Eyes widening, he felt panic wash over him.

“Master Jimin Yu, calm down,” Uncle Wu said in a soft but firm voice, even though his face showed fatigue and wounds from battle.

"But, what happened? Did he come again?" Master Jimin Yu asked worriedly, his eyes glancing at the villagers still gathered outside his house with torches in hand.

"Uncle Wu just fought the Yen Liao Vampire," said the village chief as he approached, "But thanks to the help of the residents, we managed to chase him away."

Master Jimin Yu looked at Uncle Wu with admiration and gratitude.

"Uncle Wu, I am very grateful. You have saved us all."

Uncle Wu nodded humbly. "We have all fought together. This is our collective victory, not just mine. And most importantly, we must remain vigilant. Yen Liao may return, and we must be ready."

Chen, who still felt guilty about his escape, approached with his head lowered. "I'm sorry, Uncle Wu. I've abandoned you when you needed me the most."

Uncle Wu patted Chen's shoulder gently. "Courage doesn't mean never being afraid, Chen. Courage is acting even though we feel afraid. You're back, and that's what matters."

Master Jimin Yu, who was starting to calm down, stood up straight and spoke to the gathered villagers.

"Tonight we have learned how strong we are when united. Let us maintain this spirit and remain vigilant to protect our village."

The villagers nodded in agreement. They began to disperse, returning to their homes with feelings of relief and renewed enthusiasm. Uncle Wu and Mr. Jimin Yu walked side by side, feeling the peace that had returned to Sowan village.

Under the calm night sky, Uncle Wu looked up at the brightly shining moon. He knows that challenges will still come, but with courage and unity, Sowan village will always be ready to face them.

One misty night, shocking news spread to the hills where the residents had taken refuge. Yen Liao, a beautiful girl from Goangnam village who was believed to be dead, has now risen as a vampire. Yen Liao's tragic death several months ago left deep wounds for the villagers, especially for Feng, a young man who once secretly harbored feelings for her.

Yen Liao was found dead in the forest with suspicious wounds, and since then, rumors of darkness ruling the village have only grown stronger. Residents were forced to flee to the hills due to fear and pressure from landlord Jimin Yu, who now controlled their fields.

Feng couldn't forget Yen Liao's eyes shining full of life. The news that Yen Liao had awakened as a vampire aroused anger and determination in his heart. Feng feels responsible to free Yen Liao's spirit from this terrible curse and return peace to his village.

Carrying a sword inherited from his family and burning courage, Feng begins his journey down from the hills to the village which is now dominated by darkness. On his journey, Feng gathered allies from among the remaining population. They consist of people who lost their homes and hope, but have now found new enthusiasm in their struggle with Feng.

"We have to invite the people who still live there so that they want to fight against Mr. Jimin Yu. No matter what, we have to be able to reclaim our fields," said Feng, trying to raise the spirits of his friends.

"That's right, Feng. I agree, that's what we should do," said Wugi.

From the highlands, those walking in the moonlight could see the glow of oil lamps from the houses of Goangnam villagers. However, when passing through the forest, Feng and several of his friends were shocked by the presence of a scary sound.

"I feel uneasy going through this forest," said Wugi. He seemed to be starting to get scared.

The others said the same thing, so finally Feng said, "You guys calm down, there's nothing to be afraid of, we have to hurry up before the heart's eyes rise."

"But, Feng. What about the news about Yen Liao's resurrection? I'm afraid if we all meet him who has become a vampire," said Wugi in a trembling voice.

Feng stopped in his tracks, he fell silent because of Wugi's words.

"I'm not sure about the news yet. But we also don't need to be afraid of Yen Liao. He is a good person, and wouldn't hurt us for no reason," said Feng, trying to calm all his friends.

They nodded slowly even though their faces were still covered in fear. The atmosphere felt even more tense when they had to pass through an ancient dining area with lush trees. Feng was walking in front, he seemed alert to the situation.

"Feng. Should we just look for another way? There's an ancient restaurant up ahead," Wugi said quietly.

"I know you're scared. But there's no other faster route than this way, let's go!" Feng said firmly, full of courage.

Wugi and several of his friends looked at each other, they seemed unsure if they should pass through the ancient tomb. But from the front, Feng raised his voice again, "Let's go quickly! We don't have much time!"

"Okay, Feng," said Wugi doubtfully. He then invited several of his friends to immediately follow Feng who was in front.

"Come on, hurry up!"
