Wugi and several of his friends were in fear and finally agreed to follow Feng. Feng, the leader of their group, warned everyone that they had to pass through an ancient tomb which was famous for being haunted.
The night was very dark, and thick fog covered the path leading to Goangnam village. It was two in the morning when they finally arrived near the ancient tomb. The atmosphere around them felt very tense. The large trees that shaded the tomb seemed to be alive and watching their every step.
“Calm down, everyone,” Feng said in a voice that tried to sound calm. "Remember, we are just passing through here. Don't let our minds be filled with unnecessary things."
However, Feng's words were not completely able to calm his friends. Wugi, who was usually brave, felt his heart skip a beat. Every shadow that moved made him jump.
Suddenly, a faint sound was heard amidst the silence of the night. The sounds sounded like muffled moans and screams. "What's that?" whispered one of his friends tremblingly.
"Shh! Don't panic," Feng replied.
"Stay close and don't separate."
They continued their journey with increasingly hesitant steps. The wind was blowing hard, and scary sounds continued to be heard from the direction of the tomb. Several times, they saw black shadows moving quickly between the tombstones.
When they were almost past the tomb, the sound became clearer. Wugi could clearly hear the sound of a woman's moans and anguished screams breaking the silence of the night. His body was covered in goosebumps, and his legs felt weak.
"Feng, I think we should go back," Wugi said in a trembling voice.
"This is too scary."
Feng turned to Wugi and his other friends. Their faces were pale and full of fear. "We're almost there," Feng said trying to reassure.
"Just a little more and we'll be out of here."
Suddenly, in front of them appeared a woman dressed in white with long flowing hair. His face was pale and his eyes stared blankly at them. Wugi's friends screamed and tried to run, but Feng stood his ground.
"Do not be afraid!" Feng shouted, trying to control the situation.
"This is just an illusion!"
However, the woman's figure approached quickly, and her moans and screams became louder. Wugi couldn't hold back his fear any longer. He screamed and started running as hard as he could, followed by his friends. Feng, who was trying to stay calm, ended up running.
After several minutes of running, they finally arrived outside the ancient tomb area. Their breaths were ragged, and their bodies were shaking with fear. "We made it out," Feng said breathlessly. "But we have to be careful when we go back."
Wugi stared at the ancient tomb which now felt very far away.
That terrible experience was still vivid in his mind. They continued their journey to Goangnam village in a more alert and cautious mood.
When they arrived in the village of Goangnam, Feng and his friends were silent, watching the village of Napa fall into silence. Only the light of oil lamps and torches illuminated the village.
"It looks like they're asleep, Feng," said Wugi.
"We have to meet Uncle Jao, I think he will definitely agree with my plan," said Feng as he walked towards the house.
Wugi and the others followed him from behind. When he arrived at the door of the house, Feng then knocked on the door and tried to wake Uncle Jao.
"Excuse me... Uncle Jao, it's me, wake up, Uncle," said Feng as he continued knocking on the door of the house.
Not long after, the door was opened and a middle-aged man was seen with a sleepy expression, but he immediately opened his eyes when he saw the arrival of Feng and his friends.
"Huh, you guys? Why did you come here? Come on in, hurry!" Uncle Jao said welcomingly.
They all went into Uncle Jao's house and continued sitting around. At that time, Feng immediately explained the purpose of his visit, which was none other than to invite the community to fight back against Jimin Yu who had seized their fields.
"Your plan is good, Feng. But we can't possibly beat them. Jimin Yu and his group are honorable people, and they have strength," said Uncle Jao, quietly.
"But, Uncle. After all, the fields belong to us, to our ancestors. So I plan to invite the people here to fight against Master Jimin," said Feng.
Uncle Jao was silent for a moment. He actually agreed with Feng's words, only he wasn't sure about putting up a fight against a landlord who was known to be cruel.
"Don't worry, Uncle. Don't be afraid, my friends and I will try to protect the community and try to find ways to get our fields back," said Feng.
"In what way, Feng? It's very dangerous for you, it's best not to do that. Let us live like this," said Uncle Jao as if in despair.
"Uncle Jao. You must not give up hope. I'm sure that if all the people fight back, we can take back our fields," replied Feng.
"Okay, I will try to discuss this with other people," said Uncle Jao agreeing.
Feng and his friends smiled at Uncle Jao's words, who finally agreed. But at that moment, Uncle Jao suddenly said, "Feng. I heard scary news. Have you heard the news?"
"What do you mean, Uncle?" Feng asked frowning.
"Yen Liao reportedly rose from the dead, and he is now a vampire," answered Uncle Jao quietly.
Feng and company fell silent for a moment.
"Uncle. I've heard the news, but you don't need to be afraid of it. If it's true, I'm sure Yen Liao is not a murderer," said Feng, his eyes imagining Yen Liao who made his heart fall in love.
"Feng. Even so, he is still a vampire, and you should know, vampires will suck blood as food," said Uncle Jao.
Suddenly Wugi and several of his friends were shocked to hear Uncle Jao's words.
"Uncle Jao, don't say things like that, don't scare us," said Wugi.
"I'm not trying to scare you. But this news has spread, and many people have become victims of the vampire. Be careful, you guys!" Uncle Wu said firmly.
"Uncle. We can take care of ourselves. Uncle should focus on our plans, don't pay attention to the news. Now we say goodbye to going home," said Feng.
"Yeah, okay. Just be careful," replied Uncle Jao.
Feng and his friends left the village, they walked back up the hill and into the forest. Along the way, his friends often said that they were scared after hearing Uncle Jao's words. But there Feng continued to calm his friends who looked scared.
Feng and his friends decided to take another road that cut through the forest because his friends didn't want to pass through the ancient tomb. The atmosphere was very calm, but suddenly, a strange sound was heard from inside the forest. The sound sounded like a shrill scream full of pain, making the hairs on the back of their necks bristle.
Wugi was immediately shocked with a pale face. "What's that?" he asked in a trembling voice. The other friends started to panic, some of them whispered in fear and looked in all directions anxiously.
Feng tried to stay calm even though his heart was beating fast. He stood up and raised his hands to calm his friends.
"Calm down, calm down everyone. Maybe it's just wild animals or the sound of the wind. We shouldn't panic."
However, the sound sounded again, this time closer and more scary. Wugi started to step back, almost tripping over a rock near the campfire. "We have to get out of here quickly!" he exclaimed in panic.
Feng held Wugi's shoulders, forcing him to remain standing.
"Listen, we're not going to get anywhere by running around in a panic. We have to stick together and find out what's really going on."
Carefully, Feng led his friends towards the direction of the sound. They moved slowly, making sure to stay together. Every step felt heavy, and the darkness around them seemed increasingly ominous.
Halfway through the journey, the sound came again, louder and more terrifying. This time, everyone could feel the presence of something unusual. They found strange footprints on the ground, which did not resemble the tracks of any animal they knew.
"Feng, this isn't normal. We have to go back," whispered one of his friends in a hoarse voice.
Feng paused, weighing the situation. "We will return, but stay in formation. Don't let anyone get separated."
As they tried to calm down, the screams turned into cold, terrifying laughter, echoing through the trees. They finally ran back out of breath.
"This is impossible," Feng muttered, trying to understand what was happening.
"Wow... Help me...!" Wugi slag was full of fear.
