Scarlet Pov
”Holy shit!!! Tamara says again, you slept with that?”
My eyes still wide I nod staring at his name “Quinn Kingston”
”He's like fucking rich Jason says from the top of the couch where he's sat, we freaking study this guy in class” he exclaims excitedly throwing his hands up in the air
”And is this supposed to sway me?” I raise a brow at him, “I am still not keeping the child” I say, my mind made up.
”But like if you keep it, you're going to have his heir” Jason grips my shoulders shaking me slightly, “The guy has not been in a relationship for years, he's usually off the grid but I've heard he's a huge playboy” he shrugs
”Exactly, I am 18, he's a super rich asshole” Does that spell good parents to you? I raise a brow at him
”He's 24, how did you land a 24-year-old?”Tamara raises a brow at me
”He was hot” I shrug, still going through his details, his business goes on for a long time before I reach the end, “Okay now to find the guy and tell him I’m getting rid of the baby, I don't think he would want the thing either”
”It's not a thing, it's a real human created by you and this really really hot guy growing inside of you,” Tamara says her voice cool and calm
”I am not keeping it I shake my head,” I turn to Jason, “I want to do further illegal activities, I want to ping his phone, find out where he is”
”Like you need my approval” he groans
I laugh going back to my laptop, after half an hour I find out he's in Seattle
Tamara yawning makes me yawn too
”Come on you need to sleep, you've had your eyes on that laptop all day, that's not good for you,” she says rubbing my head calmly
I follow her instruction and slam my laptop off, heading to my room for a well-deserved sleep, his image crosses my mind again and I can't stop myself from calling out his real name when I subject myself to my desires.
The next morning is Saturday and after puking my guts out I sleep in, I put a reminder on my phone to ring when Quinn will be in New York but my phone is still silent, waking up by midday I stare up at the ceiling when I hear a ping from my phone
I immediately stand up grabbing my head to stop the dizziness since I stood up too fast, I grip my phone in my hand informing me he's in New York, the tracker follows him but completely cuts off when he stops at a certain place
I smile, wanting to take up the challenge of tracking down his house would be a place with a security system much better than that of the government, my hands itch wanting to work again but I stop myself, I should not get too involved, tracking him was enough, the whole trying to find the mystery man was a huge turn on for me but I have to stop here, I'll find him maybe at his office or something like normal people do and not through his security systems.
I head out to the living room where Tamara and Jason are both busy playing a car racing game on the TV
”You're awake, you have a letter,” Tamara nods to the kitchen
I nod the only person I know who still sends me letters is my mom or she calls me through the landline. That's the least tech she would ever use
I read through the letter, she asking how I am, how I am settling in and if I changed my mind about the computer thing
I dump it with the other two I got since I moved here heading back to the living room, “I got Quinn he's in New York and probably in his house since I got cut off, I plan on getting breakfast and stalking him till I meet him” I inform my friends of my new plans for the day
”Is it weird that that's not the weirdest thing I've ever heard her say?” Jason says to Tamara
She shrugs, turning to me, “Promise me you won't make any hasty decisions, you'll think through everything before doing anything” she says seriously, her eyes following my every movement
”I am still getting rid of the thing no matter what he says, I am just being a nice person and informing him about it” I shrug, “It’s my body and I am not keeping it, I have my life ahead of me,” I say shaking my head
”It's not a thing Scar” she calls out as I head into the bathroom
Taking a quick bath, I pull on a red halter neck top with baggy leather pants, I apply a bit of makeup with red lipstick, I walk to the door purse swung over my shoulders and mid-thigh boots in hand, “bye bozos” I call out, sticking my legs in my shoes, I head for the elevator.
I easily get breakfast, sitting on a bench watching my phone when I get another ping, my lip curls when I feel someone behind me, I spin around to meet with chocolate-dark eyes
