I heard knocking from our door when I woke up. The first ones were gentle and slow. I looked at Ashton who is still sleeping. Good thing he was on the far left of the bed. I would have kicked him off, now that he's sober.
The knocking continued and I glanced at Ashton. He's still not up! I don't have any acquaintances here to be knocking on my door. Who could it be?
I slowly sat up and wore my robe. I slipped my feet in my fluffy slippers and walked lazily to the door. It was still a long way when the knocking intensifies. And stopped. I raised an eyebrow.
I held the knob to open it for the impostor but a jigsaw slid through on top of the knob. My eyes widened and forcedly opened the door. What a scene.
Ace was holding the machine and Oliver was smirking at me. Dane was holding an empty bottle of liquor and Kenneth was smiling at me. I smiled back and raised an eyebrow at Dane.
"What are you gonna do with that, huh? And what the hell are you ALL doing here, early in the morning?" I crossed my arms and they just all greeted me with a kiss on the cheek and went inside! Well, except the goody cold boy Ace.
I closed the door behind me and traced their steps back to our bed. "Pass it here Ace." Oliver pertaining to the jigsaw. He gave it go Oli and pulled something from the saw and it made a sound that made me cover my ears.
Ashton just covered himself with the comforter. "Come on, King! Let's play!" Dane showed his bottle to him.
"Give me sleep, Dane! Let's play tomorrow or later." Dane pulled the sheets that revealed Ashton's shirtless upper torso.
"No! We always play. Why do it later if we can do it now? Wakey wakey, King." I smirked when he sat up and gave death glares to everyone. I didn't miss my chance and laughed at him.
"Come on let's play!"
We formed a circle around the center table and Dane placed his bottle in front.
"Today's game! Truth or Die." My forehead creased and looked at Dane. He smiling and turned the bottle on the center table.
He's serious? They play this too? Or is it just foreplay like kids? Are we really gonna play with mortality? How fun! The bottle turned at a fast pace at first and slowly pointed at Oliver. Dane clapped and pulled a card under the table.
"Is that Jelena girl the reason why you're playing with girls? Well, of course, our Queen is not on the list." Oliver's face turned sour and his gaze turned to Ashton. He just shrugged his shoulders and gave no interest.
"Now, now. You can't ask King to help you, Oli. Come on, it's just a yes or a no. So, which one is it." Dane dangerously grinned at Oliver.
"What's the dare?"
"You go sleep with her."
"What?! I can't do that! She's dead!" Oliver hysterically stood up.
Dane chuckles. "What? She's not, Oliver. In your heart maybe, but she's alive and well. Isn't a good dare, King? He'd rather die than crawl back to her!" They all laughed. I didn't get the joke! Who is Jelena?
"She's Oliver's ex-girlfriend." I turned to Kenneth and formed an oh and nodded. I look at Oliver and he's sweating! What a good game!
"Yes." Oliver murmured after a few flashbacks about his ex-girlfriend. Apparently, she's his first and first heartbreak. How romantic.
The guys laughed at him and Oliver just crossed his arms and when his vision pass mine, I smiled. Dane turned the bottle and it pointed Ashton! Aww, how exciting. What truth could be revealed about him?
"No bringing a gun to my head at night! Don't be a baby. Who is your first love?" The other guys widened their eyes and leaned in closer. I looked at Ash. Who could it be? I mean, he looks like he's been here since forever. And some girls were brought out and some are at Buen.
"What's the dare?"
"Sleep with a girl Queen chooses!" My eyes brows raised and turned to Dane. Ashton whispered a curse and stood up. What? He won't tell? Why?
"Sure, why not?" He answered arrogantly.
Everyone looked at me waiting for a name. What the heck! I don't even know any girl here other than Mae! Should I say her name? Why are all the dares related to sex? Dane is such a pervert! And Ashton... A name is all he can say and the game can carry on! He can't say? Maybe there's no first love?
"Ace can pick! I remembered I have to do something today!" I stood up and ran to the bathroom.
I took a shower and blow-dry my hair. I didn't put any makeup and just wore any black dress and went out. I looked around and they weren't playing anymore. Ace and Oliver were just sitting on the couch and Dane wasn't there. I saw Kenneth on my way out.
"Where are you going?" He smiled and offered me muffins.
I shooked my head and pointed to the door. "Out. I'm gonna buy some clothes and check out the cafes." He nodded and placed down the muffins on the counter in the kitchen and went back to me.
I looked at him. "Your apron." He looked at himself and chuckles.
"Right." He took it off and got his keys.
"I'll come with you."
We went out of the Malo building and started walking the short distance to the boutique. "What are the new clothes for?"
"I just wanted to look around... And I wanted to get away." He turned to me and gave a baritone laugh.
"Ahh. Dane is always so playful. He just wants something to happen for fun." I nodded.
"Yeah, he is. However, the dares are not very pleasant. We should just fight each other or jump from the terrace." Again, he laughed that was so good to here. If he was here, would he sound like this, too... Nevermind.
"That could have better, huh?" He held the back of my waist. "Here we are. There are new deliveries on Monday. You should go in the afternoon."
The boutique was a box-like structure and there were red thick curtains surrounding it. A unique scent mixed with the air conditioner that made me at ease. Smells like authentic and home. How nice. It
I browsed the store and it was no ordinary. Everything was limited and handmade by luxurious brands. I picked three dresses and boots. I liked the boots more. It was leather but covered with tiger prints. The prints look very handmade and not the original animal, still, I liked it.
I paid through my student's card and let Kenneth help with my paper bags. I picked the cafe that I liked the most from its outer structure. Tall window walls and some vines as their curtains. Everything was hinted with gold white and red.
Kenneth held the door for me and by just that, I heard murmurs. There were questions and answers. My identity now includes being the Black Knight's Queen. But they can't change how I act. I can't be a queen with honor and elegance. I am what I am called, and no one can't rectify it.
