Chapter 7

"I thought I made it clear when I told you never to go to parties!" Brandon shouts, dragging me behind him on the street as we go to our house.

He has me by my arm, and is forcefully making me walk behind him. It is a long way home from the house where the party is, but I am glad that I could convince him into not driving when he is drunk.

He is having a hard time balancing on two feet. "You are not allowed to be touched by others!"

I stay silent and let my tears flow.

Romeo is still at the party, probably not aware of my absence. Alyssa and Jason are getting laid, and Emma is with Tyler. Leaving me by myself with a phsyco brother.

But I can get throught this. I've done it many times. I can be strong.

"Walk faster you slût!" I try to keep up with his pace but it's hard with the weakness that's over me. "I'm gonna fûck you so bad when we come home, then beat the shît out of you."

He pulls me strongly and looks at me close in the eye. I stare back, terrified. "Did you hear me?"

I nod helplessly and more tears come out of my eyes. I try to hold back a loud sob, holding my breath then releasing it slowly.

The house door comes in sight, and I just want to run away. But I can't, I don't have any other chance.

Brandon and I enter the house, he drags me to the couch. He pushes me and I fall on it, whimpering in fear. "No..."

He gets over me, his stinky breath hitting my senses. "Such a fûcking slût." With that he buries his face in my neck, and starts licking and biting. He has my hands trapped above my head, his hold on my wrists are too strong it doesn't let the blod flow.

He starts kissing down my neck. He leaves rough pecks on my bare skin, and right when he comes to my breasts...

He falls asleep. Oh thank God.

I slowly move and get myself away from his heavy body, releasing a sigh of relief. It's best to leave him be, at least he won't remember anything, and just think that he came home, directly went and slept on the couch.

Still shaking from head to toe, I let my weak legs carry me upstairs. I quickly get into my room and lock myself in. I check the time, 11:46 pm.

That's why my parents are nowhere to be seen.

With fast steps, I walk into the bathroom to take the second shower of the day.

My phone rings when I get out of the shower, making me realise that I probably put it in the pocket of my jacket and that I don't have my purse with me. Walking towards it, I answer it without checking the caller ID.

"Yes?"

"Blossie where are you? I looked everywhere but I can't find you. I have your purse." Romeo's worried voice comes from the other end, putting a small smile on my face.

I get the phone away from my face, take a deep, shaky breath and put the phone back on my ear. "I forgot to tell you, I saw my brother and he brought me home. I must've forgotten my purse, thank you for having it." I don't tell him the real story. He probably thinks I acted like a jerk, but I can't have him knowing the real reason behind my early leaving.

"Oh... I guess I'll give it to you on monday." He sounds like he is trying to figure things out.

"Goodnight Romeo." I close my eyes, and smile to myself sadly, feeling exhausted.

"Goodnight Blossie."

I go to sleep thinking about him, about the way he makes me feel. His one call is able to put a smile on my face after this horrible night.

I'm getting closer to him. I shouldn't be. I'm not good for him, for anyone.

But with him, it just feels so damn right.

-A week later-

I sit in chemistry class, listening to the teacher and taking notes. Though, my concentration on the lesson is lacking due to the person who decided to sit next to me today. Without any reason.

Romeo and I didn't talk too much after the day he gave me my purse. Even though our conversations were less, we managed to get closer. It is almost like a magnetic pull, keeping me from getting away from him.

Now he is sitting next to me after a week of us avoiding too much interaction. Romeo just came, asked the nerdy guy next to me if he could sit somewhere else, then sat down in his place once the guy moved without giving me anytime to process things.

I sigh in annoyance as he keeps tapping his pencil on the desk. I know he is doing it to annoy me and that I'm about give him the satisfaction of letting him know. But I say it anyway.

"Can you please stop?" I ask, not sounding so polite.

He looks at me and smirks evilly. He stops for a second and just when I'm about to thank him his smirk gets wider. "No." Then he continues tapping it.

"Gosh, Romeo stop it." I demand, whisper-shouting.

"Uh-uh." He shakes his head.

I get it. He isn't going to stop. I'll have to make him. So I reach forward and try to grab it out of his hold, but he jerks his hand away. Then instantly his whole facial expression changes when he sees something and shoots me a worried look.

"What the hell happened to your wrist?" He asks, holding my wrist gently, examining it.

Dammit. I was able to hide it so well throughout the entire week...

Apparently when I reached out to get the pencil from him, my sleeve went up and revealed the bruises on my wrist. These bruises don't look like they are going to fade away anytime soon. They are still awfully purple, and I ran out of foundation (guess who is too lazy to buy a new one).

My breathing becomes rapid as I pull my hand back as quickly as possible before shaking my head. "I- It's nothing." I try my best at not getting the teacher's attention.

He catches a hold of my hand again, being careful not to hurt me, which for some reason gives me a warm feeling. "This is not nothing. Who did it?" Even though he is whispering, he is angry, I can tell.

"No one did it. I just hit it somewhere and it left a bruise." I make up a lie. A pretty pathetic one also. I feel bad for not telling the truth to him, it's not like I have a choice though.

He inhales and exhales slowly, trying to calm himself. "Blossom I swear to God if you don tell me who fûcking did-"

"I don't want to talk about it." I cut him off. "Now will you please let me listen to the teacher?" I say sternly with a frown on my face.

He releases a sigh of defeat. "Jeez Blossie..." He puts his palm on his eye before putting it back on the desk and nodding at me. "Excuse me if I went too far."

"It's okay." I express my tenderness.

He smiles back, and of course not failing at taking my breath away.

"Yes you do, you have really pretty hair." Tyler compliments Emma even though Emma doesn't agree with him at all.

She actually does have pretty hair. Her blonde locks are shiny and soft. She hates being blonde, she thinks it makes her look stupid. She is so stuck with stereotypes, I would try to erase her stereotypic way of thinking but I have to be respectful. Everyone has a different point of view in life.

"Ty, you're really cute but I think the fûck not." Emma says, holding pieces of her hair and looking at it in disgust. Some might think she is fishing for compliments but no, I know this girl for years. If she could, she would dye it or go bald. Though there are people called 'parents'.

"You're a beautiful girl Em." Tyler stares at her in admiration, he sounds geniuine.

"I know." Tyler chuckles at Emma's response. "It's just my hair-"

"Hey guys!" We all look up. "I want you to meet Grace." Alyssa comes to the table, hand in hand with the girl she made out in the party last friday. "She's my girlfriend."

"I thought you didn't like the girls in our school." Romeo chuckles.

"Well... She is new so..."

"Hey Grace!" I wave at her. I don't know why I'm suddenly so enthusiastic, but somehow I'm feeling very close to her already.

"Hello Grace."

"Hey."

"Hi."

We all greet her and she smiles at us widely. Alyssa asks if she can sit with us.

"Of course, dumbass." Jason speaks up, his mouth full, again. I giggle.

"You don't even have to ask Alyssa." Emma says and places her hand on the table, more like slaps the table. She narrows her eyes and with a determined look on her face, she points at Alyssa using her other hand that's not on the table. "Your girlfriend," - she points herself - "our girlfriend."

A few seconds pass in silence.

"Oh fûck." Emma blurts out, looking at nowhere in particular. "That sounded so wrong..." The whole table starts laughing, and I can't help but glance at Romeo to get a chance to see his beautiful smile.

He attracts me to himself in a way and him being this handsome is not helping at all.

He looks back at me and stops laughing, his huge smile still visible. He stares at me as if he is admiring my every feature with every single detail to them.

I suddenly feel warmth on my hand that's sitting on my lap and I look down to see Romeo's covering mine. Everywhere possible in my body tingles, and reacts to the feeling of his skin against mine.

Something is definetly wrong with me.

But our magical moment is cut short when people start talking again. He squeezes my hand then pulls away as if he didn't just make dragons throw up in my stomach.

I look left to realize that Alyssa and Grace sat next to me, still holding each other's hands.

Awww...

"Guys it's friday. We should do something after school." Jason offers and I see everyone nod their heads.

"Definetly." Emma says as she bites into her everyday apple.

"Movie night!" Tyler exclaims making us chuckle.

"Yes!" Emma backs him up. Can they date already?

"Where though?" Jason questions, pushing his tray away.

"Our parents are on a vacation. You guys can come to our house." Alyssa suggests, looking at Tyler to get some sort of approval. Tyler nods without hesitation.

"Rome?" Jason raises one eyebrow and looks at Romeo.

"Man don't call me Rome for God's sake." He says, rather playful than literally angry. A smirk appears on his face a second later. "I'll come though." He turns to me. "That's if Blossie comes too."

I tuck a strand if hair behind my ear. "I won't be able to come. You go anyway."

"Why?" He asks, seeming geniunely interested in my upcoming answer.

"Josh and I are going to finish the project today." I give my reasoning, even though it's none of his bussiness.

"You're gonna stay in school right?" He asks.

"No, we're going to his place- Why are you asking anyway?"

"You can't be alone with him, in his house. No way." He shakes his head.

I frown. "And why is that?" I put my hand on my chin.

"Because I said so."

"You can't tell me what to do." I cross my arms over my chest. "Also, it's just a project Rom, no big deal."

"I don't trust that guy." He frowns.

"Then trust me."

His eyes soften. "Always."
