[CHAPTER 7.7]

HANABI

WHEN I OPENED MY EYES, white appeared on me, that's why I immediately sat down at the same time as I groaned in pain.

"Hey, be careful!" I turned to that baritone voice before secretly smiling.

"What are you doing here?" I ask rudely here.

He smiled at me before approaching me.

"Are you alright? Did Althea hurt you?" There was concern in his voice but I immediately waved it off remembering that Jush escaped from me.

"I'm fine. Leave now, I still need to rest." I answered gently before lying down and turning away from him.

"Sorry I'm late." I heard him say this but I ignored it and went to bed.

I heard his loud sigh before the door rang.

I sat down before looking around the room. I'm in a hospital. What happened to Jush?

I was silent while thinking about what happened when the door suddenly opened and Jush was thrown out.

"Jush!" I smiled openly.

"You're awake now. How are you feeling?" It was a sad response.

"I'm fine. Thank you for saving me." I said happily.

he looked away before bowing.

"Do you really think that I saved you?" I stopped at his question.

"Answer me, did I really save you?" Now, he is staring at me with a serious face.

I swallowed a few times before looking at him.

"Yes.I saw you, you came to save me." I answered seriously before smiling, "I'm glad you're fine and not hurt." I went straight ahead.

"Is he? Did you even ask him?" He asked me.

"Who?"

"The person who is willing to get hurt just for you."

ALEXANDER

"Have you talked to ASHER?" I asked Jush when I saw him coming my way.

"Still a no. He hasn't come out of his room yet." He answered before sitting next to me.

"Maybe he's still recovering." I answered before bowing.

"What about Hanabi? You're still not well?" he asked that's why my face got sad.

"I don't know. Letting go of her for the second time is like a hell." None of my own words.

"Because you love her." He said.

"Yeah, I knew that." I answered briefly before nodding.

"Wake up man, you're not a kid anymore. why don't you chase her again?" I slightly looked at him with surprise.

"Why would I?" I answered with a frown.

He smirked slightly, "It's worth it."

He patted my back before leaving with a wide smile. I raised my eyebrows at his reaction.

I looked at my watch before smiling. Why would I give up on the person I love? Of course, I'll chase her again.

I immediately stood up before going to Hanabi's room. When I opened the door, Hanabi appeared bowing down.

I slowly walked to his place until we were only a few inches away from each other.

He looked up at me and that's when I saw his teary face.

"Alex..." She murmured.

I let out a small smile on her before patting her head.

"Crying is not worth it. just say sorry if you want to." I smiled at her.

"Why did not you tell me?" She cried before removing my hand on her head.

"The what?" I asked with a frown.

"That you came to save me and was shot by Althea on your shoulder!?" He continued to ask before giving me an evil look.

"Oh?" i started, "So that nutjob named Jusher told you everything?" I continued.

"Yes!" She shouted.

I smiled even more when I realized one thing, she's concerned.

"What? What are you smiling at?" He seemed annoyed with the question.

"Nothing. I'm just grateful that you're concerned." I answered with a smile.

"What!? Of course not! I mean... why would I?" He asked softly before gently pushing me away from him.

"Nah. I'm fine... thanks for your concern." I teased some more before leaving the room.

"Hey, wait!" I heard his call so I immediately faced him.

"Yes?" I said grinning.

"Fine. I'm worried about you." He bowed at the same time as I walked back to his place.

"Thank you." I said weakly.

"How is Asher? And... Althea?" He asked shyly as he looked up.

My face turned slightly sad before speaking, "Althea was shot by Asher causing her to die, while on the other hand, Asher is locking himself in his room because he blames himself for what happened to his brother."

Hanabi bowed her head and seemed saddened by what she heard.

"I hope everything goes well." He responded weakly.

A moment of silence reigned around me as I broke it.

"Thank you..." I sincerely said.

He looked up at me before smiling a little, "No, thank you. Thank you for chasing me even though it's hard for you."

"I'll chase and protect you, I can die just to keep that promise to you... Hanabi." I replied with a smile before holding his hand, "Can we start all over again? Even if you don't become Jerishee anymore... I will still accept you..." I continued.

he looked at our hand before smiling, "Sure. And sorry for pushing you away before."

I smiled slightly at his answer. I brought my face closer to him until our lips were only an inch apart.

"Can I?" I asked with a husky voice while looking at his lips.

She nodded a few times so I started to kiss her passionately. I smiled when he responded to the kiss so I deepened it even more.

"I love you." I whispered after our kiss.

JUSHER

I SMILED AGAIN IN LOSS as I thought about what was going on with the two of them.

I'm actually sitting on the chair here on the terrace of our house with Asher. I was so damn proud of myself because I fixed a relationship.

I was just in that position when the door to my room opened. I immediately looked at the person who entered before my lips softened when I saw Asher's condition.

His face is like a big mess, a real sh*t. It's like he's joined by heaven and earth. his eyes are sore while his big eyebags are noticeable. His hair is a mess, obviously not combed, his red lips are now full of wounds and smeared blood, add to that his clothes which are tangled and tangled, in short, a real life mess.

I suddenly felt sorry for my friend's condition, after all, what kind of person would be able to fix himself if you yourself killed the person you love and care about. he may be a complete mess but you can still see the classiness of his face which is obviously a pet but it can't change the fact that he's a complete mess as of now.

"Where are they?" He asked referring to Shawn and Hanabi.

I immediately fell in love with his look. is he planning to kill them?

"Hey! I'm asking you, where are they!?" He shouted angrily before coming to my place.

"Asher, shut up!" I shouted back here.

He turned behind me before grinning.

"Killing a friend is a mercy, but killing you is a merciless." he said gently before stepping closer to me.

"Stop right there Asher Ceryx Artemio! You're already crossing the line!" I shouted loudly at him.

"Kill me now Jusher. I made a huge mistake. I mistakenly killed my younger sister, my own sister." tears suddenly fell before kneeling in front of me.

I immediately felt weak when I saw his condition.

"Is it a shame of yours now?" I asked.

"I'm a coward." He answered softly.

"No you're not. You just finished her pain. You just made the right thing to do." I will convince you here.

"Can I just die and be with my little sister?" He whispered before walking to the door, "Congratulate the couple for me." He continued before leaving.

I bowed before catching my breath. It seems like he really got hurt after the death of his younger sister. Who wouldn't? even me, I cried before when I lost her...
