"NYMPHA, come on. What time is it, hey." I called my friend who was now walking towards me.

"It's still too early, but okay, let's go." Nympha answered scratching her hand before we left the bar.

"Hey, why did you stop?" I asked Nympha with raised eyebrows when I noticed she stopped walking.

My eyebrows raised even more when he snorted at me.

"Si..." She seemed to say nervously.

I followed what she was looking at, and my eyes almost watered when I saw a man staring at us while leaning on a car.

"Sir Alex." Nympha answered weakly, which is why I barely looked at the man who now smiled at us.

"Sir Alex!" I forced a smile in front of a handsome creature.

Why is this man so handsome? Couldn't it be that when Lord showered beauty, he was the only one who was aware that he caught it all?

"Hey ladies." he answered in a baritone voice before approaching Nympha and I.

"Oh Sir, it's getting late!" Nympha suddenly said next to me so I immediately elbowed her.

"Ahh, good evening Sir. What can we do for you?" I said formally.

"I'll give you 1 week to decide." He said coldly.

"Yes?" Nympha and I asked together.

My eyes widened when he suddenly approached my ear, "The contract... wife."

My blood immediately rose on the side of my cheek for reasons unknown to me. Wife? He called me wife?

"Omo." Nympha seemed surprised.

"Come, I'll take you. It's still dangerous." Sir Alex turns to Nympha.

"Ah, Sir, I have to go somewhere, so I'll go first." I replied with a smile before heading over to apologize.

"What the hell!?" Nympha asked in shock.

I signaled her to go with Sir Alex, so she just nodded before frowning at me.

"I'll go first." I said briefly before looking at Sir Alex who was now giving me a bad look.

I swallowed a few times before turning my gaze to Nympha, "Take care Nympha. Bye."

I headed towards the two of them before starting to walk away from them when someone suddenly grabbed my wrist causing me to face someone. Sir Alex.

"Don't lie. I will bring you." Sir Alex said calmly.

I heard Nympha's breathing behind Sir Alex.

My eyes widened when Sir Alex suddenly led me to his car before opening the door.

"Ahh Sir, I'm just in the backseat." I said shyly.

"I'm not your driver." He said firmly. "Nympha, let's go." He still screamed.

Nympha immediately entered the backseat before winking at me.

AFTER A FEW MINUTES, we arrived in front of Nympha's house.

"Hanabi, be careful. Sir Alex, thank you." Nympha said smiling before getting out of the car.

Sir Alex nodded at him while I waved at him while smiling.

"So, where do you live?" Sir Alex turned to me before starting the car again.

"Sixth house from here." My response was simple.

"Okay." he answered sparingly.

After that we were quiet again in the car.

"Sir, we're over!" I was surprised when I noticed that we passed my house.

he didn't say a word and just drove his car straight until we stopped in front of a fancy restaurant.

"I'm hungry." He answered briefly before getting out of the car.

I was stunned when he opened the door for me so I immediately got out of the car.

as soon as we entered the restaurant we immediately got people's attention.

"Omyghad! It's Alexzander!"

"He is so handsome!"

"What's a billionaire doing here?"

I stopped walking when I heard what people said. Billionaire? the guy i'm with is a billionaire!?

"What happened?"He asked me noticed that I stopped.

"You're a billionaire?" I asked in surprise.

"Don't mind them." He answered with a raised eyebrow before putting his arm around me and we walked together.

when I sat down in a chair, I noticed people peeking at us from time to time.

"What a slut."

"Why is there trash?"

"What's wrong with her clothes? It looks like trash, hahaha."

I went to the shame of hearing their judgments. who am I compared to the man I'm with now? I am just a humble poor girl.

"I will only give you 1 week to decide." Sir Alex's introduction, "And please, stop minding those b*tches. They're insecure." He added.

"Why me?" I'm embarrassed to ask.

"Because you and not them." he replied sarcastically.

"Many women are falling for you Sir Alex."

"Refrain yourself from calling me 'Sir' and for always saying 'po'."

I was surprised when he suddenly stood up from his seat before staring at me. I swallowed a few times.

"I'm sorry Alex." I'm afraid to answer.

He smiled before sitting back in front of me.

"When you accept my offer, I will take care of your brother's bills at my hospital. Also, every week, you will receive 5k as your salary." He seemed expressionless.

"That's too much Alex." I'm ashamed to say.

"Anything for you sweetie." He answered with a smile.

"But I'm sorry, I can't accept it." I said modestly before handing him the contract he gave me earlier.

he looked at her before his eyes changed.

"So what? You're going to keep working at a bar where the cops can catch you?" He said.

"What did you say?" I seemed surprised to ask before what he said slowly entered my brain.

"It's illegal for your information." he rudely replied.

"How did you say that?" I seem to challenge the question.

I was surprised when he handed me a card.

I was almost speechless when I saw what was written here.

"You're a lawyer?" I have a question.

"Exactly." He answered sparingly.

"So if you'll reject my contract then I have no choice but to file a case against your work." He answered before grinning at me.

"Are you blackmailing me?" I seem annoyed to ask him.

His grin widened, "If that's what you think, then yes."

"Stop me." I said disgustedly.

He handed me the contract again before staring at me.

"Now tell me, you'll accept it or I'll file a case against your work?"

"Give me a week." I firmly promise.

"Okay." He answered sparingly, "I'll just go to your house."

"Thanks." I started, "And please, in that 1 week, let me live peacefully."
