[CHAPTER 5.5]

HANABI

NEW DAY, I'm sitting quietly in a chair here at the bar where I work.

I was just in awe while watching every move of the people around me.

my work is almost finished and it's only a few minutes before I can leave.

"Hanabi!" I slightly turned to Nympha who called me now with a worried face.

"Oh, Nympha?" I ask here.

"Where did you go? Madam Lire has been looking for you for a while now!" She shouted at me before giving me a hug.

"Sorry, I just rested here." I answered gently.

"You can go now Hanabi." He said.

I nodded a few times before leaving that bar. I heard Nympha chasing me but I just walked straight until I landed in a dark place.

Fear immediately settled in my chest and I was about to walk away when someone suddenly spoke behind me.

"Well, well, well. It was fate that brought us together here... Hanabi." A woman said coldly.

"W-Who are you?" I'm just asking here.

"Just so you know, Jerishee, I'm the only one who should be Alex's wife if you didn't show up to him." I was slightly stunned by what he said and didn't even realize that I had been locked up by the tall men.

"Fate is with me...Honey." That was the last thing I heard before my eyes slightly closed.

I WAKE UP to the cold water I felt.

I slowly looked around the room as my sense of fear returned.

After a while, the door suddenly opened and it spat out a beautiful woman who now had a smile on her face.

"Good morning honey..." he said with a grin before slowly walking towards me.

"Who are you?! What do you need from me?!" I was afraid to scream.

"I'm Althea Artemio... your ex best friend." It smiled slightly at me before winking at me.

"I do not know you!" I screamed loudly before struggling against the handcuffs that locked my hands and feet.

"Ooppss, you forgot. Didn't Alexzander even tell you how you got married?" He said.

My forehead furrowed when he said that.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

He took a chair before placing it in front of me and sat down.

"He was once obsessed with you. You're my best friend since we were kids but since Alex chose you over me, we lost our friendship." she started, "You don't like him that's why he had you kidnapped when we were 18 years old. He blackmailed you so you were forced to marry him. After a few years of being together you learned to love him too. I'm so mad at you because he chose you so I hit you with a truck."

My mind is slowly processing every detail he is releasing.

My mouth dropped slightly in shock. I did not expect this thing.

"I envy you so i tried to kill you..." He said laughing before looking at me, "I thought that when you lost your memory and when your appearance changed, Alex would fall for me..." He smiled said before his eyes watered.

"Yes, I succeeded. but you came back... you ruined all my plans!" She suddenly stood up from her seat before kicking the chair. "You shameless woman! Why haven't I killed you before?" He laughed and shouted.

The fear in my chest of what he might do to me.

"You are going crazy." I said scared.

"Yes! Jerishee is driving me crazy! I want to kill you!" He shouted with laughter before his face suddenly turned sad.

This girl is going crazy. The sudden change in his emotions was scary.

"It's like having mercy... get me out of here." I cried, I begged.

His face suddenly darkened before he laughed loudly, "And you think I'll let you get out of my pot? I'll let you taste the pain you've been making me feel for a long time."

I was even more scared when it suddenly clapped twice at the same time five men entered the room.

"Make him feel good. Don't leave him when he can still walk." Althea said with a giggle before sitting to one side.

The five men smiled slightly before approaching me.

"Don't… have mercy." I said crying but they didn't seem to hear because they kept coming closer.

"What a beautiful beauty." Commented a man who was now grinning at me.

I cried even more when they finally got close to me before tearing my clothes so hard that only my undergarments were left.

"Please... don't." I responded begging before trying to struggle against their grip.

I hate myself. I have never even experienced this. I feel dirty about myself.

I remember Alex scolding me. What will be his reaction when he finds out about this? He will definitely hate me.

"Lord... please help me." I prayed weakly while still in tears.

I hope someone can help me even now.

"That's right! And if you want, kill that bastard." Althea laughed and shouted while clapping.

"Yes boss!" the five boys shouted with joy before saluting the demonic Althea.

"You shameless people! You have no mercy!" I cried out as I continued to struggle.

"You can't do anything Jerishee. I'll make sure that Alex will hate you and then he won't love you anymore and then he'll choose me and then we'll have children, haha!" Althea seemed to respond with excitement before clapping her hands as if she was happy with what was happening.

"You crazy animal! Let me go!" I shouted angrily.

Little by little, my vision is getting blurry with the tears that keep coming out of my eyes.

A man gently squeezes my leg before I let out a small moan before laughing loudly.

It was just like that when we suddenly heard a shot. I smiled for a moment.

Someone will save me. I smiled blankly before trying to reflect on what was happening around me.

The men holding me also disappeared at the same time as a baritone voice shouted.

"Touch her and you'll see the living hell."
