[CHAPTER 6.6]

HANABI

MY HEART WAS FILLED WITH JOY when I heard that familiar voice. If I'm not mistaken, it's Alex. He will save me now.

"Touch her and you'll see the living hell." It happened again before I heard a gun go off.

Even though I'm tired, I still try to watch and listen to what's happening around me.

"Ohhh, look who's here..." Althea replied laughing.

My fist clenched slightly because of my anger towards this girl.

"She has nothing to do with you Althea..." I heard the man who came to save me say.

"Wait honey. Are you alone?" Althea asked excitedly.

"What if, I said yes? What about you?"

"Hmmm, I bet Jerishee's wife is late again?"

Even though I was confused by what was happening, I continued to listen to what they were saying.my eyes want to close because I'm tired of crying even though my body is getting soft but here I am and I keep forcing myself to watch what's happening even though my vision is getting blurry.

"Let her go Althea or I'll kill you right here, right now."

Althea almost laughed out loud, "You? A Jusher Drei Villañes would kill just for a worthless girl?"

It seems that I was depressed when I heard it. I was too convinced that Alex came to save me but what else could I expect? He is angry with me.

I smiled a little before my tears started flowing again. I was saved... by someone else.

"Watch your mouth Althea!" Jush shouted angrily.

"Where is he, Jush? Where is my husband?!" There was a trace of trembling in Althea's voice.

"He's not your wife Althea! Are you crazy?! You're crazy!" Jush shouted.

My body slowly fell to the floor before my eyelids closed at the same time as the door opened.

JUSHER

I LOOKED AT Hanabi's behavior as she fell hard on the floor.

I was about to approach her when the door suddenly opened and it spat out the man Althea was looking for. Shawn Alexander McDaven.

"Honey! You're here!" Althea happily opened up to Shawn.

My eyebrows were raised at the endearment that Althea called my friend.

"F*ck you b*tch!" Shawn screamed when he saw Hanabi's condition.

He raised the gun before aiming it at Althea.

"Jusher, get Hanabi and you may now leave." Shawn turned to me which I immediately did.

I removed the handcuffs from Hanabi's hands and feet one by one before lifting her bridal style.

I faced Shawn as I mouthed "Be safe." He nodded a few times as I left that place while Hanabi got up.

I put Hanabi in my car before calling Asher.

[Oh?] It opens on the other line.

"Search for my place and help Shawn. ASAP." I said as I ended the call.

I only waited a few minutes when a black car suddenly parked in front of my car and Asher got out with a smile on his face.

He came to my car before knocking on my window so I immediately opened it.

"Where is he?" He asked referring to Shawn.

"Inside the abandoned house with your sister." I murmured as he left.

ASHER

Wrinkled, I entered the abandoned house. and there, I saw Althea and Shawn looking at each other seriously.

"You broke my heart Alexzander!" Althea shouted.

"You, Jush and my brother! You betrayed me!" Althea said still crying.

I bowed slightly because of what I heard.

Althea is my younger sister. He thought he was my trainer because I chose Jerishee to be with Shawn. She left without even saying goodbye.

If only I hadn't introduced Althea to Shawn, she wouldn't be mad now. It's all my fault.

"Althea..." I said softly to get their attention.

"Oh, my brother is here!" Althea said sarcastically before frowning.

"Stop your madness Althea!" I'm so annoyed at this.

"Why Asher Ceryx Artemio? Who left? Who is to blame?" He asked without emotion but you could tell the anger in his tone.

"Yes, it's my fault! Stop all this Althea! At least not for me... at least for yourself." My tears slowly fell when he suddenly laughed out loud.

she is no longer my sister Althea, who was so loving and helpful. He is now a madman and out of his mind.

I must admit, even I was afraid of him.

"And you, Shawn Alexzander McDaven? Why did you leave me? why of all the people you can replace me with... why my best friend!?" Althea paused before pointing the gun at Shawn.

"My whole life... I made sacrifices just so you could accept me but why is my best friend still? Why!?" Althea's voice trembled as she said that before readying her gun.

I was immediately alarmed before I pointed the gun at Althea... at my own sister.

I don't know why I would do this to my own brother but something is prompting me to take his life... so that his suffering will go away.

He slightly turned away from my behavior while his lips parted.

"Can you kill me?" He asked sadly before bowing.

I seemed to weaken before slowly lowering the gun. I bowed for a moment before hearing a shot.

"Sh*t!"

I immediately looked where it came from and there I saw Shawn kneeling on the floor.

a red liquid continued to flow from Shawn's shoulder.

Because of my fear, I immediately picked up the gun before shooting Althea three times in a row.

"Asher..." He said with difficulty, "K-Kuya..." And there, I was stunned to hear the word 'Kuya' again.

He fell hard on the floor before slowly closing his eyes at the same time as Jush entered.

"Shawn!" It shouted before attending to Shawn who was now lying on the floor.

Jush looked at my behavior before Althea's behavior. His eyes immediately widened before attending to my brother.

"What have you done!?" It screamed in shock at me.

Shaking, I dropped the gun on the floor before my tears flowed.

"No... It was... an accident..." I said trembling while continuing to cry.

Can not! I didn't kill my brother! No! No! No!

"Asher!" Jush shouted.

"No! I didn't kill him! No! I didn't do that!" I cried weakly.

"You killed her..." Shawn said gently as he held his shoulder full of blood.

"I'm sorry, little one..." I sobbed in the void.
