Ellie's POV
"If you don't get up, I'm eating all the chocolate chip pancakes mom made, THREE HOURS AGO!" I cried out in pain as Alec's voice echoed in my eyes, most likely bursting my eardrums as I rose up from the bed, my eyes narrowed to slits as I glared at him.
I slammed my fist into his chest and he doubled over in pain as he gasped for air, "I hope that hangover kills you." He wheezed out and I chuckled mischievously as I slipped off my bed. "Well, I'm not hungover because I got sober an hour before going to be, so no, it won't kill me."
"Yeah, I'm sure you weren't exhausted last night." He mumbled sarcastically as his eyes flickered towards the clock hung on my wall. I snapped my head towards it and gasped as my eyes fixated on the ticking hands.
"Oh my god! It's twelve o'clock!" I squealed and he chuckled deeply as he pushed himself off the bed. "Yes, yes it is and we have company." He said, a groan escaping his lips as he peered down at me, "your annoying friends are here."
"Oh," I mumbled softly as I placed a hand over my mouth and breathed into it. I coughed out in disgust and wheezed as Alec stared at me in pure disgust before bursting into a fit of laughter. "You're disgusting," he groaned before pivoting on his heels and sauntering out of my room.
I grabbed my towel out of my closet and made my way towards the bathroom to take a shower.
I ran the hot water and slipped under it, sighing in relief as it relaxed my muscles. I needed this, a nice hot shower to wash the alcohol stench off my body, along with the creeping exhaustion that still plagued my body.
After a long shower, I slipped out and sauntered back into my room where I got dressed in a plain blue high waisted jeans, a pink sweater and my hair pulled back into a messy bun. I grabbed my phone and slipping it into my pocket before making my way down the hallway and down the stairs.
I tumbled into the foyer just as Lizzie appeared before me, a gasp escaping her lips as she rushed towards me. "Oh my gosh! I was so worried about you last night!" She squealed as she pulled me into a hug.
"Yeah, so worried that you ditched me for a guy right?" I muttered as I shoved her away from me lightly. She parted her lips and then snapped it shut as her eyes flickered down to the floor. "Dude come on, you begged her to come to this party and left her alone?" Alec exclaimed as he approached us, his glare fixated on Lizzie.
"You left her at the party for a guy? Geez, Liz, seriously I've been telling you to get a grip of yourself." Stewart said as he leaned against the frame of the door, his eyes flickering towards Lizzie then me.
"Look! I'm sorry, okay but that guy was so hot!" She cried out and I scoffed in disbelief. Before I could reply Alec stared at her as equally disbelieved as I was before chuckling humorously, "learn when to not be a hoe, Lizzie."
"Oh my god."
"Screw you, Alec! It takes a hoe to know a hoe!"
I ignored them as they began bickering back and forth and retreated into the kitchen. Stewart followed in suit behind me and grabbed my hand as he spun me around to face him, "I know you're mad at Lizzie so talk to me," he said and I chuckled as I leaned against the counter.
"Stewart, long time no see." I smiled amusedly, "I saw you yesterday." He muttered confusedly and I arched my brow, silently questioning him as I pushed myself off the counter, "you mean I saw Brianne, today you're Stweart."
"Who's Brianne?" Alec asked as he sauntered into the kitchen, a sour-faced Lizzie following behind her, her hard glare set onto him. "I find it funny how you get all excited by just hearing a girl's name, and you call me a hoe."
Alec flashed her a glare before turning his attention back towards us, rolling his eyes in response, "can someone answer my question?" He inquired and I turned towards Stewart who narrowed his eyes at me as he shook his head vigorously, a warning glare flashing across his face.
"Brianne is Stewart's middle name," I giggled amusedly. He flashed me an angry yet amused glance before turning towards a horror-stricken Alec who stared at Stewart in disbelief, "do you wanna take a shot at it, Alec?" Stewart exclaimed and Alec's eyes widened before he suddenly began to gag.
"I think I'm gonna be sick," Alec mumbled in horror and Lizzie suddenly let out a burst of laughter, "you'll bang everything with boobs and legs, Alec." She said and I rolled my eyes, ignoring them both as I retrieved my pancake from the microwave after heating it up.
"Yeah and Stewart only has legs!"
"In your books, doesn't that count as well, Alec?" I inquired and he flipped me off. Before I could reply my phone began to blare in my pocket and I frowned as I retrieved it. Stewart's eyes flickered down towards it and he frowned before rolling his eyes.
"Awe it's Xavier, the old chap," he spat.
"Dude don't be jealous because she likes him and she doesn't like you, I mean if you want me to set you up with one of my-"
"No god no, I don't want one of your nasty booty calls, who knows what those walking sticks caught from you!" Stewart exclaimed and Alec flipped him off as well
I sauntered out of the kitchen answered the call. "Hey," he mumbled down the line and I smiled as I leaned against the wall, a blush creeping onto my lips.
Why am I feeling this way?
"What are you doing today?" He asked and I flickered my eyes towards the kitchen where Alec, Lizzie and Stewart were bickering with one another - per usual. If he's offering me a way out of here today I'm definitely gonna take it. "Nothing, I'm just staying home, why?"
"Well I'm doing this thing down at the local coffee shop and I was wondering if you'd like to tag along? I would ask your other friends but I'm not really. . .friends with them and Alec apparently already have plans for today."
"Well, that depends on what that thing is."
"I-I'm part of a band and we have a gig today, I thought it would be nice if you came today, j-just for moral support."
"Yes! I-I mean sure, you can pick me up whenever you'd like I'll be home the entire day."
"Well, you sound more excited than I thought you would." He chuckled and I smiled as I ran a hand through my hair, absentmindedly ripping it out of my bun.
"I mean it would be cool." I chuckled nervously.
"Cool, I'll come pick you up at five so be prepared for then." He said and I nodded my head as I pushed myself off the wall and mumbled goodbye. The line went dead and I shoved my phone back into my pocket before sauntering into the kitchen.
