Chapter 3: Questions

He obviously didnt recognize me, I dont blame him its been years I was a kid when he last saw me, he hadn't even meet Lana yet. But why is he here and why does he have men following me.

I sit in the both across from him, he stick to his coffe not acknowledging my presence. He looks older but not in a worn out kind of way, I guess live was better to him. Our parents kicked him out when he turn 19, his 12 years older them me. I dont know the real reason but my mother said it was because he was doing bad things. What bad thing? My finger start to tap on the table, my knee starts to bounce I need to hurry this up I have to find answers.

"Talk." I say, I'm tired of just sitting, he looked up from his cup and sets it down. I look up and my chests starts to ache, I haven't seen him sence I was 6 after I got away I hired someone to track him down and when all they could find was an old address and a picture I thought he was dead, but no here he is. And he doesn't even know me, I want to scream at him for not coming back I want to wrap my hands around his neck and squeeze. Why did he not come back? Where was he this whole time? And what does he have to do with this?

"The guy you killed not one of mine." He simply states I flinch at his tone, his voice is deeper, held no feeling, no warmth, there is no trace of who I knew in it.

"I dont know what you've gotten yourself into but the guy that wants you says he has information on a brother of ours that went missing a couple of months ago." And his telling me this why?

"Ok, And his asking for me in return for the information I'm guessing."

"Yes but, the way he sounded it isn't convincing me. He said you had a job to do and walked out on it, said you were the only one to get a reaction out of a prisoner he has and needs you back. So what's it gonna be?"

I raised my eyebrow at him, he really think I'm gonna make this easy on him?

"I dont know Jamie, you tell me." I say and sit back waiting for his reaction. He goes stiff almost instantly, I smirked at him. "Surprised to here your name, or the fact that it comes from me? Listen honey next time you get a job, do the research before going in, learn about this person or thing that needs taken care of." I pull out my phone ready to call Lana, only one way out of this.

"Now tell me this friend of yours name." He is still staring at me, at this point I'm shitting my pants hoping I dont get a bad reaction out of this, his brain is clearly still processing so I give him time. The guy that brought me here is sitting a couple of tables away from us acting like his reading the paper the waitress cant seem to keep her eyes of him. But he hasn't noticed his starring at a guy who walked in a couple of minutes ago sitting by himself, looks to also be a biker, and if his here I'm gonna take a wild guess and say same MC. Wich means Jamie here was prepared for what ever might have happen, anything but this. I can feel his eyes on me while I look around, I know his trying to figure out who I am and how I know him but he wont. To the world my family died in a fire, an accident I may add so if he was keeping tabs on us that's what he thinks happened but it's not entirely true. My dad did die in that fire my mother died giving birth to Lana and my father decided he didnt want us anymore. That was the beginning of my nightmare and that fire was were it was supposed to end but that's not how life works.

"Listen hun I would love to help but I cant if you dont give me a name." His eyes snap to mine and I see a flicker of something in them. His desperately trying to connect the dots but his brain tells him there are no dots to connect wich is understandable, and I'm not gonna tell him who I am, not until i figure this out.

"Cain" i freeze, what? My face must have mirrored my reaction because he continues looking suspiciously at me. "His name is Cain Wolf" shit. Shit, shit, shit, shit.

Before I have time to analyze the situation I'm on my feet, the guy that came in earlier was by the door, my human GPS was runing towards me and I was making my way to the bar, placing my hands on the top with no effort I lift my feet over and dash to the kitchen door looking for the exit. I parked near a door in the back just in case, I wasnt questioned on why or asked to move. Pffft armatures, I see the exit sing and push the door open I step out and before I have a chance to look around a fist connects to the side of my head knocking me off my feet but just ass fast I roll to the side and jump up ready for a fight. Ok maybe not amateurs.

"What's the hurry darling? I hear the conversation just started." This guy is huge, like hulk huge, he definitely has size and strength over me but with muscles comes weight and with weight one gets slow. I start bouncing on the ball of my feet.

"Come on big guy that was a dirty move punching a girl, while shes not looking. Shame on you, your mama most be disappointed." I say while throw a few fast punches missing.

"I wouldn't know never meet her." He replies throwing a punch wich I donge and throw a couple to his abdomen nothing, the guy didnt even flinch. We keep going like this for a couple of seconds till he lands a punch but I see how his leg gives out a little. Got'cha motherfucke, I quickly punch his thigh a couple of times and stand back giving him a round house kick to the face. He falls to his knees and I give him no time to recuperate and punch his throat then his nose letting him fall on his ass but when I was about to run to my jeep two guys grab me and Jamie stand infront of me looking pissed.

"How about we finish our conversation?" Some how I know that wasnt a request that was an order and I should be mad but I'm fucking pround of my self that most have been the biggest guy I have ever taken down. Alpha is going to be so happy when I tell him! Alpha, i cant tell Jamie about Cain his gonna go after Alpha too and i cant let anything happen to him.

We make our way back to the diner to the same table, this time there is no music, no other people and there are members from his MC by the doors. Ja at least they learn fast, I know I can probably still slip away but its a hard probably so I'm not gonna risk it I let them shove me to the both and make me sit. Ooo if Alpha hears what there doing his gonna be pissed. Jamie takes his sit infront of me and start to speak.

"Alright, what do I have to do to get the information I want?"

"I know your not gonna like this but your gonna have to wait. I'm working on getting him out of where he is but i need time. I was following a lead when i spotted your men following."

"Not gonna happen tell me where he is."

"I cant its gonna endanger people I care very much about. I can tell you he is safe and will stay that way only if you dont send me back."

"I dont know you so I cant trust a word you are saying." Shit his right I'm gonna have to tell him who I am and let him have someone follow me but I got to do this. By now i know Alpha most have an idea of what I'm doing and is most likely buying me time to get it done. At that moment my phone start to ring. I pull it out to see its Lana I answer it not caring that we were in the middle of something.

"Talk to me."

"Christian del Rey, also known as Reaper The Fallen Angel's Pres only came to be what he is 6 months ago before that he was a nobody. He got his name because he came into The Fallen Angel's previous Pres house and killed the whole family with out making any noise he killed all but one the oldest son who at the moment was not home. He declared himself the Pres and asked if anyone challenged him. He wants Cain because he was the last one to know where the Pres older son is, apparently The Fallen Angel's next Prez was in a safe house for most of his life and had been in hiding because of a threat but came out about a year ago his dad was making him work his way up the ranks in the MC, making him earn his place and respect."

"So no need for a visit?" I look up to see Jamie staring at me waiting for me to finish.

"No, I dont think so."

"Alpha said they were old friends, but I find that hard to belive if you say he was a nobody before he became who he is."

"You thinking he has something on Alpha?"

"Yes and I want to know what."

"On it." I end the call and place my phone on the table.

"I guess I'm no longer in a hurry. Now. Where were we?"

"You were about to tell me where Cain is."

"No, no I wasnt. Not yet at least not until that phone rings again and I get my answers." He raises his eyebrow at me. He probably thinks I'm crazy.

"Tell me Jamie, is what happend to your family true? I heard they where burned to death by someone who had a grudge against your dad." He give nothing away. He either doesn't know or doesn't care.

"But I know better then to listen to what's being said. It wasnt against your dad, was it? No it was against your uncle that sick piece off shit."

Nothing, again no reaction.

"What'd he do Jaime? I mean I know why he died, I know who killed him, I know how he was killed, but where do you come in the picture? Why were you shunned from the family?"

His eyes snapped to the window. I wasnt gonna get my answers. Not today and I wasnt gonna push him but I also wasnt about to tell him who I was not until I know I was safe.

"Who was on the phone?" My turn to look out the window. I cant tell him about Lana no one should know about her, she needs to stay safe. She knows what to do if I dont check in after a while, she knows where to go. So no one has to know and no one is going to know even if it kills me

"Oh I see so you want me to talk but you dont want to? Tell me something and I'll tell you something."

"Cain said he has a kid. I want to know hes being taken care of properly, I also want him to be moved to a safe location if these people want me this bad and figure out they wont take me they might go after the kid."

"Hes safe. His with my old lady."

"That's not gonna work, I'm gonna arrange for him to be move, now what do you want to know?"
