Chapter 3: What is he?

--Zayn xx Pov—

I turn around and see Liam, holding a big bag of medical stuff ... he approaches Louis and pats my back ... he wanted me to go out, but I didn’t, I was worried... he shrugs my stubbornness off and went to check up on Louis, what could be wrong with him? ... I hope it’s nothing bad.

“Louis?” Liam asked Louis who was now fluttering his eyes open, he smiled slightly and looked confused ... he stared at me still with that confused look. “Why does Zayn have a glowing yellow light surrounding him?” He asked. I looked around me to find no glowing yellow light “Um, Louis There is no glowing yellow light surrounding me” I said, I am now completely worried for him.

His eyes stared at me wide-eyed and looked at Liam “Louis ... you fainted when you arrived here at Zayn’s place, maybe you ate something that is giving you these hallucinations” Liam said with a hint of worry in his tone. He shakes his head “I am telling the truth there is light surrounding you, the both of you, Liam just have this purple one ... while Zayn has the yellow one”

Liam looks at Louis and mutters something; it’s probably a spell... “He’s saying the truth Zayn...” Liam said looking at me worriedly “Maybe it’s the reason why the school accepted him, maybe he has this power to detect auras or something” I said ... I hope it’s just some power, I don’t want anything that will hurt Louis ... I sound like a clingy girlfriend, eh ... I don’t mind, I’m just worried.

“Yeah, Maybe,” Louis said tiredly “You should rest for a bit Louis, Zayn will be here when you wake up,” Liam said patting Louis’ head and waving for me to go outside, I glance at Louis who seem to send me a small smile before he went to sleep.

I follow Liam outside to the kitchen; he sat across me and stared at me “What?” I ask him, I’m getting creeped out by his stare “You better not be the reason why Louis has this defense system Zayn” He said in a monotone voice “I’m pretty sure I just want to ask him out, not hurt him or something like --- wait, what do you mean defense system?” I ask Liam worriedly.

“I put a spell on Louis to tell me what was wrong with his body, he isn’t sick or hurt, his body just transformed into defense mode ... ok, let me explain” He said, nodding my head for him to go on.

“As “Mythical creatures” we have this intended powers that we can use in any way we can, but the only thing that we are supposed to be using it upon is for defense, everyone, I mean everyone including humans has defense mechanisms, or powers given from birth, or at least from the person that turned you into one creature, but one time one vampire used his power for revenge, that vampire killed his human wife, some say the wife still had a baby inside her when that happened, but that’s just a rumor the mythical creatures were angry at the vampire for using his powers in a bad way that they cursed him and made him into a different kind of vampire that can never love again, from then on humans were devastated.

One day all humans were brainwashed and forgot about the incident, but one creature didn’t forget about it and had defense giving them a perfect view of any aura depends on the given creature to know if it will harm them or not if it will harm them... they can kill them, if not, then that only depends, that creature is powerful... we call that creature the chosen one” Liam said, he stood up and looked at me again “but the chosen one was rumored to be dead ... but they say that the chosen one had kid/s ...”

“Do you understand what I’m saying here Zayn?” Liam asked me like I was a 10-year-old boy, I shook my head anyway, I still don’t get it. “Zayn ... Louis is not a normal human,” Liam said to me. I scoffed “what is he then?” I asked him, he moved closer to me and whispered

--Louis xx Pov –

I woke up in an unusual place, oh right, I’m in Zayn’s flat ... Zayn, He has this bright vibe that makes me feel comfortable whenever I’m around him, After what happened at the Cafeteria a few minutes after Zayn left to go get his bike, I had this sudden headache and it hurt so bad that I wanted to strangle him, the person who did that thing to me ... I hate him. You’re probably wondering what I’m talking about, don’t bother, I will never speak of him ever again.

I hear clattering sounds outside, I stood up and saw my reflection in the mirror, I may or may not be hallucinating again, but I have this white light surrounding me right now, maybe it’s hallucinations ... like that’s what Liam said right?. Or maybe Zayn was right too ... that I can detect auras ... well, that’s not bad innit? I slowly made my way to the door, I was about to open it when I heard a loud bang outside, I’m scared ... I slowly opened the door and tiptoed outside what I saw horrified me.

The couches are on the wall, deep holes, with scratch marks, are beside it, I saw a black fur like creature at the corner of the room, the creature had a red light around it ... I step closer and screamed in pain, I stepped on the shattered glass, making the creature snap its head towards me ... I saw his brown eyes, then I knew who it was ... Zayn.

He whimpered as he made his way over to me, I closed my eyes, just in case he will do something that I wouldn’t want to see ... I feel his arms wrap around my body, it’s skin, no fur ... I open my eyes, and saw him carrying me ... he was naked, I close my eyes again embarrassed that I just saw him naked if I’m gonna be honest, he is fit like so fit that everyone will either envy his body or wants to lick his body ... I pick both, Louis what are you thinking I feel my face heat up, I swear I could see him smirk.

Zayn is smirking because I’m blushing, Damn it, Malik, if you are not naked right now, I would have thumped you in the head for embarrassing me. Or maybe not, because you might hurt me in just a snap...

He sits me down on the kitchen counter, I feel him leave for a second and comes back, I open my eyes and see him looking at the wound and applying a bandage to it, he is now fully dressed, but I don’t know if I rather see him naked or fully dressed, either way, he’s still looking good.

“Sorry for the mess, I just had news from one of my friends, I kind of snapped, don’t worry I won’t do this again, this only happens once in 6 months, so don’t be scared,” He said finishing the bandage, I scoffed “I’m not scared,” I said lifting my chin, he gives me a stare and I gulped “Really ...” He said in a slow seductive voice.

He made his way closer to me and put his mouth close to my ear “Are you not scared?” He asked, I suddenly feel scared, angry and I have this urge to push him ... but I didn’t, I just shrug him off and got out of the counter, and walked to the living room.

I can see him staring at me confused from the corner of my eye...I just don’t want Zayn to have the wrong idea of me in his house, I have no intention of having any sexual or non-sexual relationship with him. “So ... did Liam tell you what happened earlier to me?” I asked him finally looking at him again, He rushed in inhuman speed to the couch and fixed it in the right place with only one hand, it’s a hundred plus kilogram couch, and he only lifted it and fixed it with one hand, a hand, a FUC—

“Yeah ... he did,” Zayn said snapping me from my thoughts I look at him waiting for him to continue, “He said you have this normal thing that happens to all humans, but it is supposed to be hidden, now you are the only human who can do that, it’s a good thing we are not in the early era, or else mythical creatures would have killed you,” He said sitting on the couch patting the space beside him, I follow and sit beside him ... but far away from him.

“What do you mean? Why would they kill humans who have that power?” He takes a deep breath “Okay, this is going to be complicated, I won’t tell you the origin of this, but you need to know that you are not a normal human ... you are a special kind of human, you have this ability to know which creatures are good and bad, that ability is the thing you saw earlier ... the auras” Zayn said trying hard to not make me feel uncomfortable.

How would I not feel uncomfortable, I’m not a normal human for god’s sake, I’m a freaking creature like them, but this power can be an advantage at least I’ll get to know who are the people that can be a danger to me and my kind, it feels weird to think about this, to be honest. The problem is, I don’t know how to use it.

“Well that is not bad is it zayn? ... I mean I get to see if one of you are planning something bad to me or to any humans” I said making him nod in agreement.“But the thing is... I don’t know how to use it” I said he smiles at me and pats my back “It’s easy don’t worry about it,” He said standing up

“Ok, what color is my aura?” He asks, I look at him and witnessed a yellow and white aura surrounding him “The same color I saw earlier in the room ... yellow” I said

He smiles “Well that’s the main aura of a Werewolf, a vampire is Silver, a witch is purple, a fairy is pink ... as usual, and an angel is clear ... it’s just transparent looking smoke” He said I nod in anticipation, this is more exciting to know than how I expected it to be. You sound like a nerd ...shut up inner thoughts

“Ok now ... look at my face, what color is it?” He asks, waits for his face? I didn’t know his face will change color... I look at it and my mind went black

I flutter my eyes and saw red as his color, what the hell just happened, first of all, Zayn looks entirely horrified in what I just saw, Liam looks ecstatic and curious, and they said something about the chosen one ... who the hell is the chosen one?

“ Umm ... It’s red” I said he looked at me and raised his eyebrows “ Zayn ... I saw it, it’s red, and I also saw a vision of some sort it’s you and Liam talking ... Zayn, Liam said something to you ... Who is the chosen one?” I asked him He Looks at me with wide eyes

“U-um ... that’s a side effect, Louis, You will see visions that may or may not have happened, or will happen ... That didn’t happen Lou, and the chosen one is dead” He said with stutters, what’s that all about “ I’m going out ... just make yourself at home” He said and rushed outside ... what’s up with him

--Zayn xx Pov—

I can’t ... I can’t tell him

I can’t tell Louis ... that he is the chosen one

I can’t tell him that he is the rightful one for Harry, that he is going to break his curse, Harry is the main reason why all of us are not accepted by humans, Harry is the main reason why we are hated by humans ... he paid for the price. Now I can’t let him have the only person that made me feel happy

Louis is mine; He will be mine ... forever

If someone is going to be in the way of me and Louis, I’ll be sure to make him or she pay for it

Even if that someone is Harry styles

--Harry xx Pov—

Blood, I’m coughing up blood, what is happening? ... what the hell is this?

Niall just called Liam, but he said Liam is in Zayn’s house, he called Eleanor but she only said: “Someone is planting another curse on you, Harry, I don’t think I can help you with that” and left, I killed two people today, I got tired and went home only to find myself in huge fits of pain when I got home, I have been coughing blood and hyperventilating for an hour now ... Niall is scared for me but can’t do anything ... Zayn is with Louis ... I have no one left.

Maybe it wouldn’t be this way if it wasn’t for me ... Maybe it’s time I remember those memories ... the past where I failed my kid and myself.

It was the day of my 16th birthday the day where I will know who I am going to be paired with, it was a tradition for Love Vampires ... I got paired by this brown-haired girl with brown eyes, but I didn’t feel any connection to her until I found this boy ... he has brown tousled hair and blue eyes with green and yellow suns in the middle, he was beautiful ... he reminded me of Louis, but that boy wasn’t a Vampire at all ... he was human. Our kind and humans were at peace at those times, until I messed up, I lured him until he fell in love with me, I wanted him ... he wanted me, but I ended up killing him ... making me the most hated person by everyone, then I was cursed to love only one person, or else I will die.

it was a simple yet tragic thing, I thought being alone for the rest of my life forced to kill people as my punishment is enough ... but no ... life hates me, so they give me this kind of different diseases, curses, and punishments ... why? ... all I ever did was fall in love, I didn’t mean to kill him, I didn’t mean it, I loved him, but why are they punishing me for it?

... I wipe my mouth and rested my head on the bathtub ... the only person that could end this suffering is the chosen one.

... where is the chosen one? .. who is the chosen one? .. is he dead? ... is he alive?

Before I could answer my questions ... I drifted to sleep.
