While Kabeer, whose expressions turned from frown to horror by each passing moment, asked him perplexed, “what do you mean grandpa? What have I done? And why am I going to be kicked out of my room? No, I will not sleep without my Mus… "
Grandpa chuckled on his restlessness and replied, “how come I know what you have done? But she was all fine until she came from room, but now…"
Kabeer mumbled recalling their chat in the room, “room… but she was ok in the room. We just talk about clothes and then…… Nisha… oh." And his eyes went widen and lips rounded in an ‘oh’ exclamation as the realization dawned on him.
And he thought, smirking," oh, Jealousy… No, must be possessive. So Muskaan is getting possessive for me.”
First, he thought to clear her misunderstanding immediately, but then decided to let it go like the way it was going and had some fun. As her possessiveness was actually giving him so different feelings of happiness. And he left for office after a noisy, angry but cute breakfast.

Kabeer frowned at first seeing the contents of the tiffin box that day, but then laughed loudly reading the note she sent with it. He again looked at the note, smiled and shook his head in disbelief. A single line note,
"If you are not liking the food in the box. Go and take advantage of **** favorite Miss Nisha."
And he could definitely see a 'you’re' before the word Miss in the note which she cut after writing. He could easily imagine an angry but cute Muskaan writing this note.
He mumbled looking at the horrible veggies in containers of tiffin, "here you go Kabeer, your beautiful angel can be this furious too."
And he picked a bite, saw his own hand and muttered again, "unbelievable Kabeer Mittal, you are eating these things in order to coax your own wife. You are gone, man." and kept the morsel in his mouth.

Muskaan looked shockingly at the Lunch box. The empty containers were looking like a horror story to her. Once she felt very guilty to send him those dishes which he disliked most. But then jerked her thoughts away shaking her head and again puffed her mouth.
Kabeer, who was enjoying her possessiveness till now, started getting restless by her silence. Her precious smile was now not adorning her lips and he couldn't bear it. He wanted to say something when she came in the room to call him for dinner, but couldn't, because she left immediately without listening to anything. He was getting perplexed now but then thought something and soon joined Grandpa and her on the table for dinner.
Grandpa saw him and then Muskaan, who was still looking upset. Then asked Kabeer, leaning on his side, whispering, "should I wait for you in the room?"
"No, never, this is not going to happen. I will sleep with my wife only. Okay." and the reply came with full of confidence.
Grandpa gave a thumbs up to him and smiled.
After sometime, while having dinner, when Muskaan was also at the table, Kabeer said to Grandpa generally, "you know grandpa, today, Aditya and Sonal came to office to congratulate me."
Grandpa asked, "and what about Prakash? Did he come too?"
"No, grandpa not him, but only kids as they couldn't come to the reception party due to their exams."
Grandpa nodded as understood and said, "oh. Okay. Those kids are smart anyway. They will definitely score well in exams."
Kabeer too agreed with him and again concentrated on his plate. But Muskaan was not understanding anything. She couldn't recognize the persons mentioned in conversation, and curiosity got the better of her, and she asked coz she couldn't refrain too, "whom are you talking about grandpa? Who are these kids?"
Grandpa replied, “oh you don't know them. But haven't you met Prakash and Nisha in your reception party."
Muskaan stammered," Nisha."
"Yes, dear, Nisha is Kabeer's secretary. These are her kids; Aditya and Sonal. Very smart and talented. They always scored great in exams and came to me first to tell their results."
Muskaan was listening to all this with wide eyes and a mortification was taking over her face, and she mumbled and asked," Nisha's kids. But why to you Grandpa?"
Grandpa replied again, "because, when I was active in office, I gave her this job. Actually, they are our distant relatives too. But somehow, we were facing a financial crisis that time. And when I offered money, Nisha said that she is willing to do a job and can't accept any money just like this. Then I gave her this job. But she was very smart and learnt everything very soon."
Kabeer was looking at her deeply in this whole conversation. She was now not angry anymore but something was still bothering her. And Muskaan was in between lots of emotions at the same time. Her anger had subsided but a pinch of that was still intact, along with that a guilt and mortification was also taking over. She had lost all interest in food immediately. And Kabeer saw this as he keenly observed her expressions. And he said to her, "Muskaan, eat well. Why are you not eating?"
Muskaan nodded and started to eat because he did not want to invite his anger, while Kabeer wondered "why she always compromised on food only. Why couldn't she eat properly and then be angry." But took a deep breath and concentrated on food.
After food they had some family time because Grandpa was leaving for Delhi the next day and they spent some quality time with him before.

Kabeer was waiting for her in their new room and she came after 10 minutes with a water bottle. Kabeer looked at her, she was rubbing her hands as she wanted to say something but nervous as hell. She then took some deep breaths and stood just in front of him holding her ears.
Kabeer looked at her, lowered her hands and then asked, `Now what is this, dear?"
Muskaan replied mortified, "sorry, for the lunch. Today I sent that in anger. Well, I shouldn't. I am sorry for that."
Kabeer replied softly," it's ok, Muskaan. Sometimes it happens. Don't feel bad." but then thought something and asked being the most innocent," but Muskaan, why were you so angry suddenly? And what was that Nisha in note? Did I do something wrong? Or were you agitated by something?"
Muskaan now got more nervous, but replied slowly, " no, not you, but me. This morning, when you mentioned Nisha, I… I just...."
Kabeer stood up just before her and asked, leaning a little," I what Muskaan?"
Muskaan replied confused," but I don't know but I feel very uncomfortable. In Fact, got very agitated. Well I shouldn't, should I?" She asked him looking at her with her big innocent eyes.
Kabeer once again went awestruck on her innocence, and somehow managed to ask," but what did you exactly feel?"
" umm, me… I. I just couldn't take it. How can you talk about her? No, you can't. You are… my....”, the reply came but she stopped in between as not finding the right word.
Kabeer smiled, leaned a little more and whispered in her ears," I am yours Muskaan, I belong to you only. Trust me, only yours."
A sigh of relief instantly calmed her down. Kabeer saw this and said agar held her hands tightly," by the way, I love your possessiveness, your insecurity and this cute anger. You know you are so cute, even some more when angry. And I remember, never compare yourself to anyone, because what you have, that no-one can ever in this whole world."
Muskaan asked in a daze," what is that?"
Kabeer continued, " MRS. MUSKAAN KABEER MITTAL, you have the rights to write my name with you. Okay."
While Muskaan closed her eyes and let his words soaked her soul. And a blushing cute smile adorned her lips instantly. Blushing hard she ran into the washroom to change into her nightwear’s. And Kabeer saw her back smiling wide.
After a few moments when they were in bed preparing for sleep, Kabeer teasingly said, “my warrior princess, it would be better if you asked this in the morning only, at least I shouldn't eat that horrible thing. Anyways, better luck next time."
And Muskaan whined on his teasing at one moment but suddenly jerked and sat and asked," what do you mean, next time."
Kabeer laughed and pulled her closer," sleep dear."
They were sleeping close but holding each other's hand only. Yeah, the distance was definitely less that night and they could feel every step of coming closer.
