Chapter 8 Hidden Admiration (Continuation)

Tzuyu became really close to Mina that time when Chaeyoung was absent for a week. That day Tzuyu went to Chaeyoung's house to go fetch the girl so they can go to school together. Tzuyu knocked on the door by of Chaeyoung's house and saw that the girl was sick. Chaeyoung's mother said the girl will be absent so she went to school alone.

When she rode the bus, she saw Mina. Tzuyu smiled as she saw the girl and she immediately approached her. From there, they constantly talk and within that week Tzuyu ate with them. By "them" it meant her, Jihyo, Momo, Mina and her crush Sana.

'I never thought I would ever be in the same table as my crush but thanks to Mina unnie I get to experience that.' Tzuyu was feeling excited inside but she tried to hide it.

The only thing that made her mood down was when Sana was not with them because it was not every day that they ate with the girl. Mina told Tzuy that Sana eats with her boyfriend every other day and that made the younger a bit sad. Even when she said that she'll support Sana, a part of her still wished she can spend time with her a bit more. She felt giddy even if she knew she should not be.

When Tzuyu knew about the fact that Sana's time was half and half between her friends and lover, she can not help but feel sad and it showed on her face. Mina noticed the frown on her face but did not point it out that time. Instead, she called Tzuyu that night to ask what happened to hrr during lunch.

'She noticed that I was a bit down.' Tzuyu said after hearing Mina's question.

She told Mina she was just not feeling that well and that she missed Chaeyoung already, but Mina did not bought that.

So, she ended up opening up to her Mina unnie about her story and of course, her crush with Sana, Mina's best friend.

Mina was shocked at first but not because she liked her friend but because she swing that way. Mina said she never thought Tzuyu would prefer to be with girls than guys. "Blame your friend then, unnie" Tzuyu made a joke and they both giggled. The atmosphere between them became pleasant after that.

Tzuyu felt really glad that Mina was open minded and she never judged her. Mina even told her that she will keep Tzuyu's secret.

Tzuyu was happy she got to tell someone about her long time crush on Sana and to top that, she told the girl's best friend and it was amazing how the girl, Mina, was okay with it but who would think she would regret it the next day?

Lunch time came the following day, Sana was eating with them again and Mina just would not stop smirking at Tzuyu. She even told Sana to sit next to the girl which made the girl widened her eyes.

Mina fulfilled her promise not to tell anyone about it but who new she was this much of a tease? The girl kept on telling Sana to be close to Tzuyu. 'I just want to disappear now.' Tzuyu thought as Mina still kept on teasing her. She even glared at her unnie to make her stop but she would just laugh it off.

'Haist! Remind me not to tell her something like this again, please!' she made sure she would never forget that the next time Mina wanted to know something.

On the other hand, Jihyo noticed these. She observed silently while munching her chicken sandwich. "Sana, let's hang out later at dismissal. Chess café will have a new addition to their cake menu. I want to taste it." She heard Mina said. "Sure, I got nothing to do anyway." Sana said. "I will one too!" Jihyo was startled as Momo suddenly said something after being quite for a long time. Jihyo slapped Momo's arm because the girl scared her. "What did I do?!" Momo asked as she massaged her arm where Jihyo hit her. "I was surprised, stupid." Jihyo said calmly. "Whatever. Are you coming too?" Jihyo just nodded her head and continued eating while observing her friends. 'I can't let this slip. I need to know what Mina is up to.' Jihyo thought to herself.

When the last class ended, they went off not forgetting to drop by Tzuyu's room. "Tzu, let's go?" Mina said as she peeked her head on the door of Tzuyu's room. "Just a second, unnie." The girl answered. She was still fixing her things.

"Wow this strawberry shortcake is amazing!" Momo said in awe. She then devoured the food. "Ah!" They heard Sana said and saw that the girl's hand accidentally slipped a hold from the drink she was holding causing for it to be spilled onto her uniform. Jihyo was about to give the girl a handful of tissue when Tzuyu beat her to it. "Are you okay, unnie?" Jihyo noticed how Tzuyu was in panic seeing Sana's sudden state. She thought that the girl was a really kind kid. "Why don't you let Sana borrow your jacket, Tzu?" Jihyo saw how Mina smirked after saying that. Like a light bulb popping up her head, Jihyo suddenly got what was happening here. She then looked at how Tzuyu blushed. "Holy crap, so, Tzuyu has a crush on Sana huh?" She thought to herself. She smiled and continued observing. She felt kind of sad for the younger since Sana was in a relationship but then her eyes widened when she saw how Sana blushed as Tzuyu took off her jacket and gave it to her. "Wear this for the meantime, unnie." Tzuyu said. "T-thanks, chewy." Sana said causing Jihyo to choke on her drink. "Yah! Drink slowly, Jihyo." Mina said to the girl asshe patted Jihyo's back. The latter just nodded her head. "Jihyo choked because of Sana's voice. Why did you have to say Tzuyu's name like that, Sana? It felt like you are talking to your crush or something." Momo said as she ate her food. Mina and Jihyo widened their eyes and looked at the girl. 'Wow.' They both thought.

The two blushed while the other three just laughed their asses out. 'Stupid girls, it's clear you felt something for each other.' Jihyo thought to herself and looked at Mina like they both had the same thoughts.
