Chapter: 7

Imara along with Abraham moved towards her place and they both changed into some comfortable clothes because they had to travel. After Changing they left for the airport and settled into their places and moved towards Newyork. But Imara was still confused about what exactly happened that they had to leave urgently and she asks about it to Abraham. "Why are we exactly leaving? What has happened? Tell me ", said Imara. "Actually we have some important deal and you need to be present there and also there are some problems with our orphanage", replied Abraham. "What's wrong? Are kids okay?", Asked Imara in a low worried voice. "Actually there is a businessman and he is behind the land and is forcing us to sell the land so that he can build a mall over there, he has been forcing Mrs. Roy for a long time", said Abraham. "What the hell. And you are informing this now? Did he harm anyone or something? And who the hell is this businessman doesn't he know who we are?, Asked Imara angrily. "Idiot Imara, how can he know who the owner is when you have kept this news hidden if he comes to know he would not do this so we are going there and will inform him who the owner is and also will warn him to not reveal about this to anyone or else we will destroy him? Okay?", Said Abraham with a smirk.

Listening to him Imara got relaxed and then they started talking about the deal that was about to take and after that, they had something because they were hungry since evening and then started talking about general things. Abraham wanted to know is She okay because he clearly saw her talking to Zubin and he knows what effect Zubin has on her and remembering this he can actually remember the past when he saw Imara all lost and broken and just thinking about it made him shiver and his heart crumble with all the pain but he immediately shooed them away and decided to talk to Imara. "Imu what was Zubin saying today? You know right you can always share with me I'll always be there if you need anything", said Abraham softly. Listening to him she immediately remembered what was he saying, how he was angry and frustrated that she was not talking to him and she decided to tell about this Abraham because he has been there with him in all the thick and thins. "He was asking me why am I ignoring him? He was frustrated about it. He was asking me what happened 6 years back", said Imara softly. Listening to her Abraham was so angry. "The fucking hell, how dare that bastard asks you what happened 6 years back, bloody fool I'll not leave him if he tries any of his cheap tricks this time", Abraham said angrily.

Seeing him so angry Imara immediately held his hand squeezing it to calm him down. "He also said that he broke up with his girlfriend a few years back", said Imara softly. Abraham saw her lost and he understood that she was thinking about her past which was no less than a nightmare for them and he didn't want her to think about it and get hurt so he diverted the topic immediately. "So are you happy revealing the truth that you are their favorite author?", Questioned Abraham." Yes very, you know they were so happy. I left them 6 years back without even giving an explanation. They were never at fault it was my love that forced me to do this, but see they still love me with all their heart", said Imara emotionally. "Yes, I can understand they love you a lot. Today I saw how Zoe, Aaliyah, and Amber were happy just because you achieved your dream of being famous", said Abraham with a smile." when are you telling them about that?", Asked Abraham.

Listening to him Imara knew what he meant but she was not ready to talk about it now. And above that she was not even planning to go back to Mumbai any time soon, she was planning to stay back in New York and work on the deal, orphanage issue and her new book. "I don't know, and I am not going back to Mumbai anytime soon, I am staying with you In Newyork only", said Imara after thinking. After that they started talking something randomly and slept after being tired. After a journey of 10 hours they landed in Newyork and moved out with their luggage after clearing their custom to see the driver waiting for them. They sat In the car and moved towards their apartment. They had something and moved towards their respective rooms to rest. They spent the day at home watching movies and talking about the deal. While in Mumbai everyone was busy in their work, while for Zubin along with work he was thinking about Imara also.

While four months have passed with Imara and Abraham were busy with their work in Newyork and others busy with their work along with the preparations. They all were really excited because it was the first wedding in their group. Yes, Zoe was getting married to her boyfriend Rayan after being in a relationship with him for 9 years. Zoe had invited Imara along with Abraham and they were directly going to come for their engagement.

Zoe was going to have a typical Indian wedding at Udaipur palace that they have already booked. Everyone was very excited and the entire gang was working hard because they were supposed to complete their office work so that they can take a 15days break while at the same time they were doing all the preparations. While in the meantime Imara and Abraham were also doing their work so that they can be back here and enjoy though Imara was still not ready to come back but then it was her best friend who was getting married to the love of her life and she couldn't disappoint her.

They decided that they would directly join the gang in Udaipur for her engagement while her mom would be joining them after their engagement. They all were ready for the final day. After completing all the work they all reached Udaipur and started looking after the preparations that were taking place. It was only the gang and their parents while the relatives and the other guests would be coming 2 days before the engagement.
