Chapter: 11

After a tiring day full of enjoyment and dance practice the next day bought with it a lot of happiness and joy. The gang got up late because of their body pain while the elders were done with breakfast and we're looking at the preparations for the Sangeet and Mehendi. The Mehendi was taking place in the garden while the Sangeet was taking place in the living room of the palace which was ready with the stage and the seating arrangements. The gang got up late and then moved towards their breakfast. After that, the girls decided to get ready together while Abraham was busy with his important video conference and decided to get ready alone. Rayan and Zubin decided to get ready together.

The girls first got ready all of them were wearing green lehengas. Then they helped Zoe with her hair and makeup. They then were called down first while the boys would join them later because the girls had to apply Mehendi on their hand. The bride's Mehendi would require a minimum of 3-4 hours. So they got down early. The Mehendi ceremony started and after an hour Rayan and Zubin along with Rayan's cousin came down. They greeted everyone and Rayan say besides Zoe. While for Zubin he was lost in Imara. She was looking beautiful in her green lehenga and he couldn't stop admiring him. He was happy that Abraham was not here yet so he decided to join the girls and try talking to Imara. He moved towards them and sat between Amber and Imara. "Hey guys, enjoying Mehendi?", asked Zubin. "Yes, I am applying it after along time", said Daina. "Great, enjoy, and if you'll need anything to eat or drink just call me. I'll help. Okay?", said Zubin with a smile. The girls smiled at him except Imara she pretended to be busy. Zubin felt bad when she didn't even smile at him. He was boiling in anger that she doesn't care. He has been trying to talk to her since the start but all that she does is to ignore him. But he decided to try once again. " Imara, where is Abraham? He didn't even get ready with us? Is he okay?", inquired Zubin with a frown. "Ahh. Zubin he is okay. Actually today he has an important video conference with the hospital authority so he will complete that and will join us", answered Imara with a small smile. "Ohh okay", said Zubin happily.

After that Zubin left for some time because he was called for some work and when he returned he saw Abraham sitting beside Imara with his hand around her shoulder and looking at her Mehendi while talking and giggling. He moved towards them and sat beside Abraham and said "hey buddy, when did you come?" "Hello man, I just joined 10 mins back and was looking at Imu's Mehendi", answered Abraham. "Girls! Are you'll hungry by any chance? I am getting something for Imara to eat. Do you'll need anything?", Asked Abraham softly. Everyone nodded in no except Aaliyah because they ate something before their Mehendi started. "Can you please get me a glass of juice?", asked Aaliyah. "Aaliyah you never have to say please. You'll are important to my Imara and see you all are important to me too", said Abraham like a gentleman. Everyone was impressed with his behavior and care, especially for Imara. They thought when they were not there at least she had Abraham to look after her.

After getting food for Imara and juice for Aaliyah he sat beside Imara and handed the glass to Zubin because he said he would make Aaliyah drink because her Mehendi was still wet. Here Abraham started feeding Imara while she was resting her head on his shoulder. All of them were talking while for Zubin he was irritated with whatever was going on. He felt like pushing Abraham from his place and sit beside Imara. While they completed their Mehendi and moved towards their rooms to take some rest. They had a sangeet in the evening.

After waking up the girls removed their Mehendi and got ready for the sangeet. The dress code was blue. So the girls were in blue lehenga and the boys were wearing blue kurta. Everyone moved towards the garden and the couple entered together hand in hand. They sat on the chairs arranged for them. While Imara along with Abraham moved towards the stage.

" Hey guys, I am Imara Zoe's Bestfriend", said Imara

" hey, and I am Abraham Imara's Bestfriend", said Abraham.

" We are your host for the day and we will start with the boys vs girls. These boys think they are the winners they should know that girls are no less. What say girls?", Said Imara.

" Imu.. Imu... We will only win. So please don't get your hopes high", said Abraham.

" We will see", said Imara smirking.

After that, the girls started with their dance on the song "Desi girl". They danced gracefully and the guests enjoyed a lot. Then they were followed by boys who danced with a swag.

After that Abraham came on the stage and said " Now put your hands together for the bride's best friends Amber, Aaliyah, and Imara who will perform for Zoe".

That was followed by a beautiful dedication to Zoe. They danced on "Tera yaar hu main". They were gifted with a lot of claps and hooting. While Zoe was in tears remembering their old days and hugged each other after the performance.

After that it was followed by the couples who danced on "Agar tum saath ho". It was magically full of emotions and love. After that everyone sat for some time and had their dinner. The gang was together. "Zoe I am sure your husband loves you a lot. See look at the color of your Mehendi", said Zoe's cousin. While she blushed and hugged Rayan. " The darker the color the more love?", questioned Zubin. " Yes, it's a saying", said Daina. "Ohh, this is something different, said Zubin. While for Abraham he said something to Imara which was heard only by Zubin because he was sitting beside her. Abraham said in her ears slowly, " ohh that means I love you a lot. Look at your Mehendi it's dark". While Imara just laughed at it and hit him with her elbow.

This was seen by Zubin and he was burning. He was sure to talk to Imara about it and before he does everyone was called for a dance. with the change in songs, they will shuffle too. Abraham and Imara were dancing nicely. And then she was passed to Zubin and they danced very formally. Zubin when held her waist he felt she was uncomfortable and he felt angry because he saw she was comfortable when Abraham held her. He immediately pulled her more closer and held her waist tightly and asked in a husky voice " You were not uncomfortable when Abraham held you? Why are you now?" " That's none of your business, leave me", said Imara gritting her teeth. "Arey why? Ahh, he is your boyfriend? He will get angry seeing us close? questioned Zubin with anger in his eyes. " Leave me you Zubin don't cross your line", said Imara angrily.

Zubin pulled her and took her towards his room and pinned her to the wall after closing the door. "What did you say? Cross the line? Ahh, baby don't you think we had cross the line along the back? Umm 6 years back? Don't you remember?", questioned Zubin sarcastically. " Shut up, don't you dare talk about it! I'll destroy you Zubin don't try this", answered Imara with her jaws tightened. Listening to her he pulled Imara more closer and dug his nails on her bare waist. " You shut up! Ahh, I got it your bf Abraham doesn't know about us. He doesn't know that we kissed! You remember right? Should I tell this to your bf?", Said Zubin with rage in his eyes and hate for Abraham was clearly seen. " Zubin why are you going in the past? What do you want? Please I am tired of all this", said Imara softly. Listening to her he softened and made her sit on the bed and he sat on the floor beside her legs.

" Imara I just want to know is Abraham your boyfriend?", Asked Zubin softly. " Zubin why do you care? You talk about kissing but do you know what you did? You were with me, you showed you love me a lot and then I got to know you have a girlfriend?", questioned Imara. Listening to her he was shocked. He realized why was Imara not talking to him. He realized his mistake and he was ashamed of it. " You don't have an answer right? You know Zubin I'll tell you something today, I loved you soo much, I thought you will love me, you will be my side always, but I never knew that I was asking for something impossible. You made me fall for you and then what you did?", Siad Imara smiling but had tears in her eyes, tears if lost love, tears of broken promises, tears to see him with someone else. Looking at her and listening to her he was shocked he never knew Imara loved him. He never knew about all this and seeing her smiling with tears he knew one thing she has turned more strong. He just wiped her tears and kissed her forehead affectionately.

He knew he was wrong but at that time all that he needed was sex and nothing more. Imara didn't gave him so he was with someone else but he never knew his Timepass would hurt Imara so much. " Imara I am sorry! I never knew you loved me, all that I needed was– " he was cut by Imara " sex, all that you need was physical relationship. Right? I figured it out that day in the cafe only", said Imara softly. "I am sorry! Can you forgive me? Can you give me a chance? Please? Are you with Abraham?", Asked Zubin impatiently.

" I forgave you long back for myself. Zubin I am not the same. I have changed. I don't live for myself, I Live for others now. Love and relationship are not there in my life and I don't want it too. About Abraham, he loves me a lot. Not from today but from last 7 years", answered Imara with a smile. " Are you planning to say yes?", Asked Zubin impatiently. " No Zubin, I can't love him but you know all that I expected from you was fulfilled by him", said Imara softly.

Listening to her he was insecure that Abraham would take her with him. " I am sorry. I promise to be a nice man! Can you please give me a chance? I don't know what feelings I have for you! I know I don't deserve anything but even if you just be my friend I'll be happy, can you please give me1 chance?", Said Zubin. Before they could talk more Imara's phone ringed and it was from Abraham. She immediately picked it up and said she was coming in 2 mins. " Zubin we will talk about this tomorrow. Promise for now let's leave! First I'll go then you come after 5 mins. I don't want Abraham to see us together", saying this Imara left. Zubin was totally lost in today's talk and he wanted to talk about it to someone. He was insecure after knowing that Abraham loved her so much and was there with her. He decided to talk about it to Aaliyah and Amber because he knew they would help her. Now he understood why they were rude to him because of his mistakes. He decided to apologize. He doesn't know what feelings he is having for Imara but he is not letting her be with someone else because he can't see that.
