Chapter: 10

After the tiresome day everyone was lost in their beauty sleep. While no one knew what was happening to Imara. Here in her room, all that was heard is

" Please don't do this to me"

"Help... Help....."

"Zubin...Zubin don't leave me "

"Don't come near me"

Imara was shouting in her sleep. She was sweating. She was trying to save herself from the demons of the past who were trying to harm her. Suddenly she got up from her sleep, all that she could do was to clutch her hair in a tight grip and try to control her emotions. She was breathing heavily while at the same time sweating like she has run 100km. She saw the clock which showed it's 4:00 in the morning and she knew she can't sleep alone now, if she doesn't her demons would take her back in the darkness. She got up from the bed and moved towards Abraham's room. Abraham was the only person who knew what was wrong with Imara and also her nightmares. She moved towards his room and knocked on the door.

Listening to the knock he got up and moved towards the door and opened it. He saw Imara in a bad state, her hair all untidy and she was sweating. He immediately understood that she had a nightmare. He held her hand and took her inside and made her sit on the bed. He immediately filled a glass of water and made her drink.

"Imu, what's wrong? Was it the nightmare again?" asked Abraham.

"Yes, again the same thing. Why did this happen to me only? Am I this bad?" questioned Imara. "No baby, you are a fighter. My imu is strong right?" Asked Abraham while caressing her hair. "Now I don't want to talk about it. Come we will sleep today we have Zoe and Rayan's haldi ceremony", said Abraham softly. After that he immediately made Imara lie down on the bed and he also lied beside her taking her in his arms and closed the lights after switching on the lamp because Imara is not comfortable in darkness.

The next morning everyone was sitting on the dining table waiting for Abraham and Imara to join. They waited for 10 minutes but there were no traces of them. So finally Amber and Daina decided to go and check on Imara. They moved towards her room. They knocked on the door but no one opened it. Amber pushed the door to see if it was open and to their luck the door was open. They entered inside just to be shocked because they couldn't see Imara. They were tensed, they didn't know where was she. Amber immediately moved towards the dining table and informed them about the same. Everyone was afraid as where did she go? They were worried, nervous because the same happened last time when Imara left them for 6 years. They couldn't understand anything then and they couldn't understand anything now too. Before they move out of the house to check her Rayan said " guys, let's check on Abraham first. Maybe she is with him or maybe he might be knowing about where she is?

Listening to him everyone ran towards Abraham's room. In all this everyone was afraid but the most tense was Zubin, he couldn't lose Imara again. He was still confused about his feelings but he knew something that she was important to him. Maybe because she was his best friend before 6 years or maybe he liked her but for now he was not in a position to lose Imara. They knocked on Abraham's door again and again. After some 5 minutes Abraham came on the door and opened it just to see the Gang worried. "Hey guys, what's wrong? Why are you'll looking so tensed? Is everything fine?", questioned Abraham. "No nothing is fine, Imara is Missing, she is not in her room too" said Zubin with an afraid expression. "Guys, relax! Imara is safe. She is with me, see", said Abraham with a smile and moved aside to let the gang enter. The gang entered and was shocked to see that Imara was sleeping on his bed with a smile. Everyone was relaxed looking at her but at the same time they had a doubt about Abraham's and Imara's relation because they were sleeping on the same bed. They let it be for some time and asked Abraham to wake her up.

Zubin's pov.

I was shocked looking at the scene. Imara and this bastard were sleeping on the same bed. How dare he do this. Are they in a relationship? Why am I hating this? He is a nice guy and he will always protest her but still thinking about this makes my heartburn. I was lost in my thinking when I heard Aaliyah asking him to wake Imara up. He moved towards the bed and sat near her torso and gently caressed her hair and said " Imu wake up baby! It's time to rise and shine". Listening to him I was burning in jealousy how dare he call her baby and see how lovingly he is waking her up. My trance broke when I saw Imara groaning and she immediately shifted her head from the pillow to his lap and was smuggling in his stomach while he was admiring her and he kissed her hairs asking her to wake up as everyone was there. Listening to his statement she jumped out of the bed. She was looking so cute. She immediately asked us that what were we doing here and I heard Zoe saying " we were worried for you. Amber and Daina checked your room and you were not there so we came to Abraham to see whether he know about you or no but then he said you were sleeping with him" " but I saw you sleeping in your room last night. How are you here? And what's going on between you and Abraham?", asked Eama with a teasing smirk.

I was looking at Imara only to gauge her reaction. I saw Imara's facial expression change when she was asked about what was she doing here. But before she could answer Abraham answered on her behalf saying she was bored and she came to my room to play games and later we slept here only. After his explanation everyone was satisfied but I wasn't. I saw Imara saying thankyou to Abraham and he blinked his eyes and I knew he lied. But looking at this I felt like poking his eyes and strangling him to death but I let it be for some time. Imara said us to move down and start having our breakfast while she and Abraham would join them in sometime after getting ready.

After about half an hour Abraham and Imara joined us on the table and had their respective breakfast. After that Imara asked about the haldi arrangements and Zoe assured her that everything is ready and told everyone to get ready. Everyone moved towards their rooms and came down after an hour or so. Everyone was wearing yellow. Girls were wearing yellow lehenga and boys wore yellow kurta.

The arrangements for Haldi was done in the garden and everyone moved towards it. The ceremony started with Rayan's and Zoe's mom applying haldi on both their faces and that was then followed by their relatives and finally it was our turn. We all applied haldi on the couple. That was then followed by the haldi fight of course which was started by my start, Imara. We played around and then we were told to freshen up and then the boy and girl were asked to take the auspicious bath.

After the ceremony, we had the day for ourselves but we not allowed to enjoy it. We had to practice for tomorrow's sangeet as ordered by Zoe. The choreographers were there to teach us and as decided boys vs girls were taking place tomorrow then which was followed by Imara's, Aaliyah's, and Amber's dance which was dedicated especially to Zoe. Then it was followed by the bride and the groom dance and later everyone would join.

We spent the entire day practicing for tomorrow. One thing was bugging me and that was Imara dancing with so much confidence because as far as I know she was not comfortable with dance but here she was dancing gracefully. She has changed a lot. I was just observing her and Abraham they seem too close. I so wanted to punch him when he was feeding Imara snacks after the practice because she was tired. I don't know what is happening to me? I need to clear my feelings before I do something Idiotic or before it's too late. I have to finish this before the wedding because on the wedding day my mom was joining us. She has been busy with something important that's why she missed the other ceremonies. After having our dinner we all went to sleep because of the body pain due to the practice we did Today.
