Chapter: 5

After leaving from Amber's place all moved towards their respective destination. For some time they all thought about Imara and her behavior then again they knew something was wrong with her or else she would never be like this. But they couldn't think about her much because they all had their jobs and their personal life to deal with. Though somewhere down the heart the small part of them was continuously worried about Imara's behavior and what actually happened 6years ago. The days started passing quickly while they were waiting for Imara to return so that they can meet again.

After a week

All of them were at their workplaces and were totally busy with their life. Suddenly Amber received a call from Imara.

Imara: Hey! Imara here...

Amber: Hello! I know! So how are you doing?

Imara: I am good! What about you? And how is Zoe and Aaliyah?

Amber: I am good and they are also fine. Imara we are missing you when are you coming back? It's been so long we had a conversation with my best friend.

Imara: I am sorry! But yeah I am back we will meet soon! But before that, I have some work that's the reason I have called you!

Amber: Yeah. I'll surely do whatever I can do! What can I do for my best friend?

Imara: See I have sent you an invitation! Did you receive it?

Before Amber could say something she heard a knock on the door of her cabin.

Amber: Imara can you hold for a sec? Actually someone is there on the door. I'll just see!

Imara: For sure! I'll wait!

Amber allowed the person in and she saw it was her assistant Rayan who came to give her some Invitation card! And when asked about the card he said that a guy came and left this for you saying that give this card to Amber and left immediately! After taking the card Amber thanked Rayan and closed the door and went towards her chair and took the phone.

Amber: Yes Imara! Sorry actually someone gave an invitation so my assistant was here to give me.

Imara: It's alright! Here is the invitation I am talking about. This is an invitation for an event that is taking place tonight at JW Marriott. And before you ask what is the event about, let me tell you an author is coming and her name is "Imu.A.P". I am attending that event and I want you all to attend it too including Zubin.

Amber: Are you serious?? Do you even know that author is my favorite? To be honest our favorite. We all love that author and we read all her books! Thanks a lot for inviting us. We will surely come and about Zubin, I'll inform him too.

Imara: Thanks a lot. I'll send all of them the invitation and don't forget to get this invitation or else you won't be allowed to enter! And I'll see you'll by 8 in the evening.

Amber: yes! I'll remember and see you soon. Take care... Bye!

Imara: Yes! You too! Buh-bye!!

After talking to Imara, Amber immediately called Zoe and Aaliyah and had a talk with them and told them about meeting their favorite author along with IMARA and there was no control over their happiness. They decided to get ready together. After their call Amber called Daina and added Edna, Eama and Zubin too and informed them about the event. Everyone received the invitation for the same. All of them were happy but the most happiest was Zubin as he wanted to talk to Imara because her this behavior was not letting him work in peace.

Zubin's pov.

When Amber called us up and gave the news about the event where we will be meeting some author "imu.A.p" and Imara would also be there. I was the happiest amongst all of them because I wanted to talk to Imara at any cost. Her behavior is eating me from inside. I don't know what is wrong with this girl. Anyways today I'll talk to her and ask her about everything though I am nowhere interested in that author but still I'll go to meet Imara.

Zubin's pov ends.

Everyone reached JW Marriott and moved inside after showing their invitation card and was shocked seeing the arrangements. It was so beautiful and grand. They all were mesmerized with its grandeur. They all moved inside and took a seat. Suddenly Zoe received a call from Edna saying that she won't be coming because her mother's health is not good. She will meet Imara the next time for now her mother needs her. Zoe informed about this to the rest of the gang. They all prayed for her mother and was waiting for Imara to join them. In all this the most impatient one was Zubin his eyes were just searching for Imara. After waiting for some 10 mins Amber received a message from Imara. The message said,

Hello Amber! I know you guys are waiting for me but sorry I can't join you all now because I am caught up with something. I'll surely join you all but for now please enjoy the event and don't worry I am in the hotel only and from now you all should move inside there is a press conference that is taking place and your favorite author will be there and she will be revealing her true identity. I'll send my friend Abraham there and he will guide you all towards the press meet and he will be with you all until I join you all! Okay?

Amber read the text and at one point she was sad but then she knew that Imara won't do this until she is really busy. So she read the message loudly for her friends to hear and after 5 mins they saw a handsome guy walking towards them. He was wearing a black suit. He reached towards them and introduced himself while having a handshake with Amber.

Hey! I am Abraham.. Imara told you about me right, come I'll guide you towards the press meet and Imara would be joining us in some time.

Everyone greeted him back and started following him towards the meet that is taking place. They moved inside and sat on the chairs behind the reporters. They were really excited to know who the author was because all her books are launched with her pen name and no one actually knows how she looks like in real life. After some 15 mins, the event started. And the Anchor welcomed Everyone,

Hello! Good evening lovely people. Are you all excited for the event? Are you all excited to see one of the most famous authors? Are you excited for her new book launch? Yes just like you all I am also very excited to see her because she has always been my favorite author. Just because of Imu.A.P I have started reading books. So now without any delay, I would like to call upon stage our very own "Imu.A.P" . Give a round of applause for her.

Everyone saw a girl coming on the stage and were excited to see her face but they couldn't have a glimpse of her face because she was wearing a mask. Everyone from the crowd requested her to show her face and she turned the other side and removed the mask and turned towards the stage and looking at her everyone was surprised because she was extremely pretty.

Everyone cheered looking at her but the gang was shocked. They couldn't believe that their favorite author Imu was none other than their Bestfriend Imara. They couldn't understand anything and looked at each other and then towards Abraham who was looking at Imara happily. And they knew that Abraham knew that Imu is Imara and she is an author under a pen name. Though they were shocked by the revelation but they were very happy. The happiest amongst them was Aamber, Zoe and Aaliyah. They looked at each other with pride in their eyes. Their Bestfriend even after facing a lot she finally succeeded in becoming famous just like she dreamt of. They just wanted to hug her tight but they knew they can't because it was time for the press to ask all the questions they had. Everyone looked at each other and sat back enjoying their evening while the reporters were asking questions.

Reporter 1: Mam! Can you please start with an introduction because the world wants to know who you actually are?

Imara: sure! So Hello guys, I am Imara Parker or Imu.A.P as you all call me. I am 25 years old and I have completed my graduation from St. Xavier's College.

Reporter: Oh this is surely good news for all your friends and teachers from that college. Mam why did you write using a pen name? Why did you never show your face to the world?

Imara: I never wanted to let people know who I am! I love to live a life just like how common people do! I don't like the attention and media around me. And I never felt the need to show my face because I am known for my work and not for who I am! And I am really thankful to all my readers because even without knowing my identity they loved me and supported me. And today I am here just because of my beautiful family.

Reporter 2: That's really sweet of you mam! So mam when did you actually started writing?

Imara: I started writing after my 12th Boards but that was very casual. But then after my graduation, I took it seriously and after a year and a half I launched my first book!

Reporter: Mam who actually inspired you to write books? Who was your support during all the hard times?

Imara: firstly my Mumma supported me in everything. My Mumma was there when I felt that I couldn't do anything. And the next person after my Mumma is my best friend. And before you ask who is he let me tell you he is present here. His name is Abraham.

Reporter: May I please request Mr.Abraham to join mam on the stage.

And they saw a man moving on the stage and hugging Imara. While the gang was shocked they thought that Abraham knew about all this but they never knew he was the one to support her and inspire her to write. Somewhere down the line they were hurt that Imara had a new best friend and she never told about all this to them. Zubin was also very jealous because of all this.

Reporter: Sir can you please introduce yourself and what do you do? And from how long do you know mam?

Abraham: So I am Abraham. I am a cardiologist by profession and I know Imara for almost 7 years. She has always been my friend.

Reporter: ohh! Mam your books are really touching. They always touch the right chords of everyone's heart. Are the books your personal experience?

Imara: Thank you all so much. But No this is not my personal life experience. And now let's get over with this interview and I would love to introduce my new book.

Reporter: sure mam!

Imara: So my new book is "Our twisted destiny" and I would like to read a small introduction that would give you all an idea about the book.

Our twisted destiny:

The game of their Destiny,

Has already changed their chemistry.

Will they ever be one,

Or will they just act in front of everyone?

Their twisted destiny has already done its part,

Let's see can they ever have a new start.

Reporter: Mam the introduction is quite exciting and I am surely reading the book tomorrow only.

Imara: Thanks a lot. Now I would request all of you to come and join me for dinner. All the arrangements are done. So enjoy. Cheers!!

Saying this she and Abraham moved outside to see all the arrangements while the gang followed them so that they can have a conversation.
