Chapter 9

As he was making his way up the stairs and towards his room he spotted one of the women who he met during dinner come out from one of the rooms, Clair slowed her walking and gave a polite bow to the woman who he remembered is named Angel.

Angela waved her hand, indicating that Clair can be dismissed, Clair didn't know what she should do as it was her duty to bring Jace back to the room safely.

Seeing Clair being hesitant in her steps, Angela gave a disapproval look and said that she would be the one that would bring Jace back. Seeing Clair like that Jace assured her that he would be OK and thank her for keeping him company only then did Clair make her way around the way they came.

Angela gave Jace a long stare that made him feel uncomfortable. He wished that he could go back to his room. Angela then put her hand out for Jace to shake.

Seeing as how last time the introduction was not formal, Angela wanted to meet him adequately. Jace shook her hands slightly and noticed how beautiful and cold her hand and skin were cold; they are similar to that of Omar.

Angela then spoke.

" Hi, I'm Angela, Omar has told my sisters and me all about you. I wanted to be the first to welcome you into the family; Omar has spent most of his life searching for you."

Upon hearing that Jace is shocked Omar looked to be only in his early thirties so how can he be looking for him all his life? The confusion is clear on his face. Angela than spoke quietly saying

"don't overthink about it Omar will tell you when he is ready, come I will take you back to your room."

Jace gave a slight nod and followed behind Angela, while he was walking behind Angela he couldn't help to think that she reminds him of the little old lady that lives across the hallway from him.

It felt nice to be in this woman's company. The two entered the nice warm room where Angela left him saying that dinner will be ready soon and that Omar will be back.

With that, she left him to his own thoughts where it lingered on to what Angela told him about Omar.

There were so many questions swirling around Jace's head, what is the connection with Omar towards Angela and her sisters? What about Katrina, she looked to be someone very close to Omar,

She was able to show him affection when no one dared to yesterday at dinner. But the most important question is, did he make the right choice? to be with someone that he hardly knew.?

He should've thought things through before he willing and shamelessly gave himself to someone he only met a few hours ago, but at that time it right,

Every time he touched Omar, there was always an electric feeling going through him, and Omar's scent was intoxicating, how could he explain these feelings? Something at the back of his head told him it was the right decision he had ever made.

As always Jace lets his mind wander, never paying attention to his surroundings, the bedroom door opens and in walked Omar, who walked up to Jace and hugged him from behind.

Jace turns his body to face Omar, the minutes his eyes stared into grey ones all his doubts and fears flew out of his mind. He realizes he can't live without this person,

Someone that has been nothing but kind and gentle with him. At that moment Jace realized that it didn't matter what or who Omar is, he will stay with him till the day Omar doesn't want him.
