Omar left the bathroom and entered his walk-in closet, looking through his clothes Omar knew that it would not fit Jace at all, after a while, Omar picked out simple pants and a long sleeve shirt complemented by a black leather jacket.
The mansion is already warm, but Omar did not want to risk Jace catching a cold. The younger man is as fragile as a unique glass which will break upon impact.
After picking out clothes for Jace, Omar picked out his own clothes, being a vampire during the cold season is the most welcoming for his kind as their powers and ability become ten times as vital.
But for Omar who had walked this earth for a long time and being an elder, he has his advantages.
Omar walked out of the walk-in closet to see a tray had been wheeled in containing breakfast. His fated one would like something to eat after last night's ordeal.
Omar walked to the tray, lifted the cover and arranged the food for Jace, plating a bit of everything for him.
Omar had just placed the plate back on the table when Jace walked out wrapped in a bath towel leaving his chest bare, showing off his smooth milky hairless skin.
Walking up to Jace Omar handed him the clothes he had just picked out, resisting the urge to take him again and again.
“Change into these first, then we can have breakfast, I know these won't fit you snuggly, but it'll have to do until we can get clothes that fit you.”
“This is enough, thank you,” said Jace, smiling.
With the clothes in his hand, Jace walked back into the bathroom only to emerge minutes later looking like a kid in his dad’s clothes.
Omar made a move and grabbed Jace kissing him, before guiding him to a chair that he had pulled out. Sitting down, both of them started on breakfast.
For both of them, it was a different experience. Omar, who would always wake up alone, never feeling the warmth of a mate.
Jace, never having the pleasure of having breakfast with anyone other than himself. Even he could not have guessed that someone like himself would be so blessed.
For a while, breakfast was quiet until Omar spoke.
“Tell me more about yourself, beautiful; what are your interests.”
“Well at the moment I don't have any interest not exciting ones anyway,”
“Ok, what do you do when you’re free.”
“I help volunteer and do fundraising for the orphanage where I grew up; I was making my way there yesterday when I was caught up in that incident involving that dangerous driver.”
“I’m studying to become a social worker and help kids that are in a similar situation as me. After school, I would go to my part-time job where I work at a cafe,” explained Jace.
“I am sorry that you were caught up in someone else's recklessness, but I’m not going to lie when I say I was glad that it was you,
if I were there any later, I would have missed the most important opportunity of my life.” said Omar leaning towards Jace lightly pecking his forehead.
After receiving the kiss on his forehead, Jace blushed not wanting to let Omar know how much the man affected him, Jace quickly asked another question.
“what... What do you do for a living,”
“I started as a small dealership later on expanding it to what it is today, I was quite lucky in the business as I was one of the first people to do what I did,” said Omar leaving out the more critical details.
For the rest of the morning, both Jace and Omar had their breakfast sitting near the large window overlooking the vast garden that was covered in morning mist complemented by the morning sunlight rays making everything look magical.
In the privacy of Omar’s room while exchanging their experiences in life.
