A succession of knocks on my door woke me awake, and I couldn't get out of bed to open it.

I'm sorry, Alieson. Can you cook Yaji's breakfast today because Lily and I are going shopping? Even if it's only fried hotdogs and eggs, heat him some bread and coffee since that's what he always eats in the morning," Lena said, and I nodded.

I slammed the door shut again and collapsed onto the bed.

The next morning, I awoke early to take a shower, perhaps later because the work was back-to-back; it is difficult to take a bath when the body is exhausted, and I may even faint.

When it was finished, I went to the kitchen to assist in the preparation of breakfast.

I fried a hotdog and an egg because I didn't have a choice, and I also made Sir's coffee and warmed up some bread. I feel like a fool now, with a saucepan above my head and the lid in my left hand to protect myself from oil splashes.

When I finished cooking, I bravely served it to Sir Yaji at my dining table.

When he saw the food on the table, he immediately stood up from his chair and stared at him in front of him

"Can you still call that food?" Show the food on the table.

I believe I overcooked the hotdog and then the egg, which almost burned because it was so dark.

I simply remained mute since I admitted that I was mistaken. I'll just check if you don't get furious if you cook burnt meals.

"I'm only being asked to cook simple food, you don't know how yet; I can't believe you've been a maid here for so long, even though you don't know how to cook; I'm so disappointed!" His jaw stiffened as you untied his tie.

It's simply my bad luck; I was medicated yesterday and had a cup of coffee this morning in preparation for another lecture.

"Yaji, what happened and why is your voice reaching outside?" Manang said, and both of them peered from side to side.

"Because of our new maid!" "You did hire sister Flor's replacement, but she's a sloppy cook!"

I'm simply bowing now, trying to keep the tears from falling. It's especially difficult when you're sensitive, because being talked down to hurts you right away.

"To be honest, I don't waste food; why don't you just eat what you cooked for me?"

His jaw tightened further until he eventually left. Manang stroked my back, attempting to make me feel better. If I had known my boss would be like this, I would never have worked. While my tears began to fall, Lily immediately hugged me.

"Alieson, are you okay?" Lily asked, concerned.

We're presently resting on the veranda because we just finished cleaning; I can't even see because my eyes are sore from sobbing earlier.

I smiled, looked at Lily, and nodded.

"Excuse me, Sir Yaji, but that's all he talks about; direct, but kind."

"I'm fine, Lily; it's my fault as well; anyone gets really angry when they serve you hot food, especially when you're really hungry."

I understand why Sir became furious with me so quickly; I was only surprised previously, and maybe I'm just altering I can't even remember the last time Daddy chastised me, and this is how I reacted.

"It's as if you're thinking so deeply, which is why I assumed you were still thinking about what Sir Yaji told you earlier," she continued.

"That's none of my business anymore, I just miss Mom," I sighed.

When Daddy scolded me before, Mom was always there to soothe me and stop me from crying. Mom trained me too much with her attention, and now I crave her.

"There's no problem with Alieson, as long as you come back right away," Lena explained.

I told Lena initially that I could take a day off, at least for one day, and she agreed.

"Yes, I'll be right back," I responded, smiling.

Nothing compares to the pleasure I'm feeling right now; I miss Mom so much and can't wait to see her. My day off isn't till tomorrow, but I'm already looking forward to it.

I got up early in the morning since I was so happy, had a shower, and then dressed. I simply donned highwaist denim shorts and a simple black tank shirt croptop, which I also paired with a yellow large checkered scarf.

After I put on my clothes, I looked in the mirror at my entire body.

I used chick tint and lip tint to make myself look more blooming.

I'm prepared! I exited the room to bid Lena and Lily farewell.

"You're so sexy," Lily said, and I immediately grinned.

"I'm leaving," I said to Lena.

"Be careful."

Before I decided to leave, Lily and I hugged them. I was ready to leave when I ran across Sir Yaji, who had obviously just done jogging.

"Good morning, Sir," I said.

He didn't return my greeting, instead staring at me from head to toe and walking straight into the house.

I just didn't pay attention to how much it bothered me. I'll be seeing Mom today, so I should be in a good mood. I was leaving the subdivision, thinking about how I would greet Mom, when I noticed a Jollibee in front of the Royal Villa.
