chapter 5

Even if it's a day that disrupts sleep, the reflection of the sun on my face is what caused me to awaken from a sound sleep.

When I noticed the sun was still in my eyes, I yawned and stretched my body. Speak up!

I hastily jumped out of bed and dashed into the bathroom to get ready to wash and soap.

Hey, it's 12:00 and I don't have time to take a shower right now! I actually woke up at noon yesterday because I was so exhausted. It was challenging to look at myself in the mirror after leaving the restroom because I might later have dry saliva.

I got up and walked to the kitchen, where I saw Miss lena preparing a meal with a young woman about my age. She is the second maid here to whom Miss is referring.

Miss remarked, "Oh baby, you're already awake. Let's go here and eat."

I answered gently, "Miss , why didn't you wake me up? I wish I could have helped you.

Lily is here to assist me, and moreover, it's a shame I'm going to wake you up because your sleep is so good.

When she stated it, I simply scratched my head before realizing that I still hadn't combed my hair. Hey! Alison!

She said in a baritone, "Miss , I have to go.

The three of us turned to face Sir Yaji, the man who shouted out of the blue.

He was clutching his coat and was dressed in a white long sleeve with a black neck tie tucked into black pants. In contrast to yesterday, he is now dressed more formally, almost as if he were flirting.

Miss Lena questioned, "Aren't you going to eat?"

There is no necessity in the office.

He gave me a serious look as he turned to go and asked, "Do you hold a grudge against me?"

I couldn't help but stare at him wide back as he walked out the door; the former looked very much like a model.

The female next to me is furious when she says, "Hey, it's you. Sir Yaji is what you're like isn't it?"

Tears! Feeling near? Kidding.

I quickly said, "No!"

Gosh, you're being really defensive. It's evident siz, you may gaze at Sir as though you want to possess him. Stand in the rear, you can't allow us pass your attractiveness.

She seems to like Sir Yaji, which I already knew because I couldn't help but giggle at what she said. I'm simply saying this because Sir Yaji is so kind, and it's not improbable that women will choose him.

Even as we begin to eat, Lily continues to make me feel bad for not liking Sir Yaji, so Miss Lena is also aware of Lily's slyness.

I'll admit that I was admiring Sir Yaji's exhaustion while I was looking at him earlier, but it doesn't imply I have a crush on him. I work here because I want to find my parents, not because I want to fall in love with my boss. Silly!

I offered to wash the dishes after we finished dining so I could assist Lily in wiping the dishes I had just finished washing. We only got to know one other for a day, but it already appears like we get along well; she's chatty, and I like talking to her.

However, Alieson, do you really desire something?

to Sir? "

We've since eaten our meal, but she hasn't stopped asking that. Oh my!

Lily, stop repeating; I said nothing.

It's so ugly that I'm about to cringe a little.

She remarked, "Gosh! You were the only woman who saw Sir Yaji who wasn't drawn to his appeal.

I came here to do business, not to fall in love with a slick guy like Sir Yaji.

Because Sir Yaji is ideal in his own way, anyone—model or actor—can and will feel strong attraction to him—apart from me. He does not suit my benchmark because he is too flawless in my opinion and my ideal man is straightforward.

I took a shower after washing the dishes to get ready for work and finish early. I recalled the dream I had the previous night as I was blow-drying my hair.

"daughter, you don't have to do this, go home to Nena and don't look for us any longer," Alison said. "I know why you're working right now."

What does Mommy mean when she says those words, which keep echoing in my head like a broken plate? And why can't they just take me along with them? Why then does she not want me to search for them?

I have a lot of unanswered questions in my head right now, and I need to find Mommy as quickly as I can since she is the only one who can give me the answers.

"Alison?"

Lily calling me out of the blue astonished me. She grinned as she looked at me and then at the door.

If you're here to ask me if I like Sir Yaji, my response is unambiguously no, and please stop making fun of me.

She replied coldly, "You're terrible, I'm just going to hang out here; my room is uninteresting.

"Do you have a problem? You know I've been noticing that you seem to be lost in thought."

Sometimes, despite your best efforts to conceal your issue, people will catch on when you are unable to do so any longer. I had a dream last night that there was a problem with my family; I hope nothing bad occurred to Mommy and Daddy. They better be ok, I hope.

I was just thinking about my parents, so, nothing, I guess.

This is a significant question, "Why are they there?"

Will I retell the tale? Because of the heaviness inside me once more, I find it difficult to explain what happened.

"I can't tell you now, can I tell you next time?"

I want to be able to tell Lily everything, but the burden of the issue I'm now carrying is too much for me to bear, and I might simply start crying. I was able to tell miss

Lena everything at first, but I was restless because I frequently dreamed of my mother and occasionally felt anxious about them.
