chapter 6

I finished cleaning around four o'clock in the afternoon. I left the house to water the plants and to unwind.

While I was watering, I noticed a woman approaching me; she was dressed sexily in workout leggings and a sports bra.

"Hey! "Is Yaji there?" is a query.

Her beauty shocked me; her height is that of a model, and her face is that of an actress. This is most likely the type of Sir Yaji.

"Ahh, what do you need from him?"

The expression on its lovely face abruptly shifted.

"How dare you ask me again! Tell me where Yaji-"

"Why are you here?" he asked, his voice cold.

When I noticed that my boss was seducing women again, I looked at the place of the voice. I don't want to lie about how attractive he looks in that manner, but the three buttons on his island were open again just like yesterday. Alieson! Stop talking!

"Yaji, you're here. Uhmm... By the way, I decided to make a cake for you yesterday because I heard you were back home," she said, spreading the cake she was carrying.

Unfortunately, she is still attractive, but her attitude is repulsive. She will also throw garbage the next time the garbage truck comes by.

He shifted his terrifying glare to me from the cake in the woman's hand. Tears! That's what I was thinking this morning!

"Can you please give us some privacy?" he asks in a baritone.

I nodded and began walking away from them, ignoring them as I continued watering.

"Yaji?" I heard the woman scream and looked up at them.

Sir Yaji was ready to walk through the gate when she grabbed his arm, which he quickly rejected. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but Sir Yaji appeared to be upset.

My boss knows the girl is dead, but you defeat the ice by being too frigid to cope with other people.

"Hey! Alison!" I was astonished.

That girl is a jerk; I was even gossiping when she became enraged.

"What are you looking at there?" she asked, turning to face Sir Yaji.

"Nothing, I'm just watching a TV series," I joked.

I returned my attention to Betty, who was now looking at the two with seriousness.

"Wait, that's Miss Cassadra; why are she and Sir Yaji arguing?" She shrugged his shoulders.

"You know that girl?"

"Of course, that's my boss. extremely really bad, I just heard Sir Yaji came home, and I went immediately. Ma'am is really strange."

Betty, such a bizarre woman, she's still flirting with a man. I simply shook my head before returning my gaze to my pal.

"Wait, where are you going?" I'll change topics.

"Me? I'm going home," she said.

Going home? Why did this Betty have to go home when she worked as a maid? I mistook myself for a stay-at-home maid.

"Aren't you staying at your job?"

"Miss Cassandra doesn't have as much trust in her housemates, so she sends us home every afternoon and sometimes at night," she explained.

"Ahhh."

Betty and I didn't talk for long since she was eager to go home; I urged her to greet me as Mom and tell her that I'm OK here so she wouldn't have to worry about me longer.

I entered the mansion after finishing watering the plants and noticed my cranky boss in the sitting room. I walked into the kitchen silently because he was typing on his laptop.

"Are you the new maid?" This unexpected inquiry caused me to halt abruptly.

"Yes, sir!" I said quietly.

After a time, he looked away from his laptop and at me. Tact! Why does he always look like this? I'm starting to think he likes me.

"You must know how to brew coffee, right? It's impossible not to."

I'm at a loss for words; I used to try to brew coffee for Daddy but only succeeded once. But I'm not sure I know how right now, eh! My misfortune.

"Make me some coffee," he said authoritatively, and I promptly complied.

Whatever happens! If I don't attempt, I won't know if I know how to accomplish it.

When I got to the kitchen, I made the coffee with pure nescafé and a little sugar, hoping he would like it. Hey! Where are you and Lily, Lena?

I waited a few seconds, expecting that She would appear so that they could brew Sir Yaji's coffee, but I was disappointed because at least one of them, as well as Lily, were not present. Alieson, you're such a jerk! It's only coffee, and you don't know how to brew it correctly! Stop talking!

I bravely brought my freshly brewed coffee to the living room and handed it to Sir Yaji, who reached for it without moving his gaze away from his laptop. He sipped a little, but I was astonished when he blew it right in front of me.

Sir Yaji, you are a moron!

"What the hell, why is your coffee so bitter?" he exclaimed.

I just landed on my forehead as a result of what I did wrong that day. Alison! Myghad Alison! That's only coffee!

"I'm sorry, Sir, but I don't know how to make coffee," I confessed.

"It's just coffee, you don't know how to brew it yet; what's the point of you working as my maid if you can't do it properly just by brewing coffee?"

With a sigh of anger in his voice, he dropped the cup he was holding on the table and walked away. Hey!

That man was extremely rude; perhaps he conceived him out of spite when his mother was pregnant, which explains his behavior. Even though you spilled your coffee right in front of me, I didn't protest.

Hey! Thank you, Yaji Figueroa, and I even prepared you coffee, even though it tasted horrible, instead of nothing. Thank you very much!

I dashed to my room to change my clothing because I was smelling like coffee and was also in a tricky situation with the thief. That shit is extremely rude; it's a good thing they still put up with him.

***

A succession of knocks on my door woke me awake, and I couldn't get out of bed to open it.

I'm sorry, Alieson. Can you cook Yaji's breakfast today because Lily and I are going shopping? Even if it's only fried hotdogs and eggs, heat him some bread and coffee since that's what he always eats in the morning," Lena said, and I nodded.

I slammed the door shut again and collapsed onto the bed.

The next morning, I awoke early to take a shower, perhaps later because the work was back-to-back; it is difficult to take a bath when the body is exhausted, and I may even faint.

When it was finished, I went to the kitchen to assist in the preparation of breakfast.

"Heritage? Lily?" I dialed their numbers, but none of them responded.

What happened to them? Why isn't there anyone in the kitchen? did-

My head couldn't complete what it was saying because I immediately realized they had been shopping in Manang.

Dead! They even requested me to cook breakfast for Sir Yaji, but I didn't say anything because I didn't know how. This is my last day in this house, so I collapsed on the chair. Hey! Nice!

I fried a hotdog and an egg because I didn't have a choice, and I also made Sir's coffee and warmed up some bread. I feel like a fool now, with a saucepan above my head and the lid in my left hand to protect myself from oil splashes.
