''What do you mean he was released?''

Cathy paced up in down her kitchen panicked.

''He spent the night in a holding cell but later in the day they let him go.''

Jason her boyfriend explained.

''How could they,I thought they said they had him. Jason you said we were safe and he was going in for life.''

''Cathy I don't know yet what happened,my informant said he will call as soon as he has some more information.''

Cathy grabbed a suitcase and began throwing clothes randomly into it. She knew first hand what Ethan was capable off......

''He's coming over tonight. You will call me and we argue. Knowing him he will get involved so get ready."

Everything happened as planned and by the end of the night they were both in a deserted driveway. Ethan was arguing with who he thought was her former boyfriend. He managed to pull a gun on Ethan but he overpowered him and shot him three times. Cathy drove off as soon he jumped back in.

''I uhm...I witnessed a murder on Blackmagic street."

Cathy walked into the police station looking freightened. Her plan had went well two nights ago but took her time to come to the station because Ethan had been with her since the day,afraid that she might be in danger.

''We have to leave,he will _no he is looking for me as we speak. I don't know how they could let him go with so much evidence.''

She continued randomly throwing items in her bags.

''Cathy he is not looking for you,why would he?. He doesn't even know that you ratted him out and as soon as they find the gun,the video and his trap houses they will take him back in. We planned all of this well baby,he is going to be behind bars for -''

Before he could continue his phone rang and it was his police informant. Telling him that they had raided the trap houses and had found nothing. The surveillance footage had nothing. Cathy went into a frenzy as soon as he relayed the news to her.

''I am leaving! If you want to stay behind go ahead. It was nice knowing you.''

Jason quickly grabbed a bag and started throwing clothes into it while Cathy packed their toiletries. There was a knock at their front door,they each looked at each other wondering who it could be.

''Get it.''

''Why me? Cathy you get it,it is probably for you.''

''What if it's him?''

''It is impossible,he does not know where I stay. You know what I will answer it,just drag the bags so we can leave as soon as I am done with whoever it is.''

Jason opened the door to a heavily pregnant plus size black woman. He smiled nervously,the way white people smiled around black people. The woman was about to leave after a man opened the door but then Cathy walked up behind Jason.

''I am so sorry to bother you guys but I wanted to ask if I could use your toilet.''

The couple looked at each other wondering if they should let her in then looked at the time before giving the stranger their attention.
